“What is that sound?” Ye Qing Huan suddenly asked before looking around them with narrowed eyes.

After a moment of silence, she raised her hand and created the wraiths that she sent out to scout out the area. When they disappeared, she couldn’t help slightly knitting her brows.

She just had this same look on her face for a bit before suddenly turning back to Lin Fan and Mu Bao Bao to say, “We’re surrounded.”

The two of them were surprised to hear this, but they also sent their spiritual senses around them to see what was happening around them. It was just that they found that they couldn’t actually use their spiritual senses here.

Mu Bao Bao couldn’t help raising a brow when she heard this, but she waited for him to explain.

Though there was no need for Lin Fan to explain as the things that had surrounded them pushed through the forest to reveal themselves. The moment that they came out, Mu Bao Bao understood why he said that it wasn’t a problem.

It was because even though they had been surrounded, the things that surrounded them weren’t actually any danger to them.

It was even a bit confusing why these spirit beasts seemed like they didn’t have any fear towards Lin Fan’s group.

The pile of goods that they harvested was a clear testament of that.

Harvesting all of these resources could be considered damaging to the ruins, so it would make sense if there was this kind of defense mechanism put in place.

“Then who wants to take care of them?” Ye Qing Huan suddenly asked while looking at the spirit beasts.
