The golden yuanbao had planned on turning Lin Fan into gold with that wave of spiritual energy, but Lin Fan’s body was very receptive to pure elemental energy in the first place. So all that happened was that the gold elemental energy was absorbed by Lin Fan when it hit him.

It seemed that he didn’t even need to put up that barrier in the first place.

The other thing that happened was that the moment that Lin Fan’s fingers touched the golden yuanbao, he started to absorb the golden yuanbao.

The golden yuanbao seemed to be shrinking in size as Lin Fan absorbed it.

That will was completely suppressed by the power of Lin Fan’s physique, turning the golden yuanbao into a tool that was completely at Lin Fan’s disposal. If it ever developed a will again, all that would happen is that it would become a willing slave for Lin Fan since it had been suppressed by him.

After that golden yuanbao formed in his dantian, it did the same thing as the other five pure elemental energy items.

It floated there around his dantian.
