Will of Vienna

Michael Todes is an austrian student living in the capital city, Vienna.

One day, during a class at the University of Vienna, portals suddenly open out of nowhere. Panic spreads as mankind faces its downfall and falls victim to an otherworldly invasion. At the same time, glowing texts appear before everyone's eyes:

[ External interference detected. ]

[ Threat level: Extinction. ]

[ DEFENSE SYSTEM INITIALIZING… ]

[ Inventory unlocked. ]

[ To increase initial survival probability, all survivors have been issued a starting weapon: [Iron-Tipped Recruit’s Spear]. ]

*Is this actually happening right now?* His thought was that of pure bewilderment. *Is this a dream? A collective hallucination? No. Impossible. The air pressure, the reaction of everyone else… it’s too real. It can’t be a trick. It must be... A system!!!*

The university instantly turns into a slaughterhouse. What follows is a bloody fight for survival. Surrounded by loss, grief, fear, and anger, Michael must learn how to live in this brutal new world.

But the System doesn't just bring death; it brings power. Talents, items, classes, skills and even more await those who are strong enough to fight the monsters. With every killed enemy, Michael gets stronger—and his will to survive grows with him.
