Chapter 2020: Cap 2010 (Remade): Reversed Destiny…
Editor: The author went on a trip and left this in my hands. I have the rest of the Chapters here and I’ll fix everything. Maybe I’ll release one more today, which I hope will be the last mistake…

I didn’t expect my mother to meddle in these dirty waters. She must know that among the possibilities I’m prepared to do against this woman, the vast majority boil down to destroying or permanently removing her.
“(What are you doing here?)” (me)
“(I’m here to be impartial, something you’ve proven incapable of being when she’s involved.)” (Selene)
“…” (me)
“Stop crying, control your emotions and look at me.” (Selene)
“Who are you…?” (Hana)
Hana, who had spent a few seconds crying, quickly recovered as her aura cautiously grew firmer amidst her emotions. She focused on Selene, who remained unchanged behind me during our mental conversation.
“I am a Goddess… I am called Selene, Goddess of Blood.” (Selene)
“Why…? Why are you…?” (Hana)
“…” (me)
It was clear she couldn’t understand why two Gods were speaking in front of her like this. At the most basic level, she was a successful businesswoman and trader among criminals; she should, by default, try to see things in terms of value to know how to deal with everything, and at this moment she couldn’t measure her own worth in the eyes of two Gods.
“You don’t need to think too much, you have no value in my eyes, and I’m not here for you.” (Selene)
“But the one you abandoned…” (Selene)
“What’s going on here!?” (Hana)
“First looking at my memories and now using my past to pressure me!?” (Hana)
“Don’t try to fish for information, you wouldn’t understand even if we told you.” (Me)
I’m stalling, I know, but I don’t want to tell her who I am, I don’t want to hear her excuses, I don’t want to hear her lamenting, I don’t want to hear proposals to change or talk of self-condemnation, none of that really matters and it will only lead to a loop that will fuel the flames of anger inside me.
“Do you know anything about your son’s life?” (Selene)
“(What are you…?)” (me)
“(You’re trying to skip steps to get this over with quickly, but that’s not the right thing to do.)” (Selene)
“(She needs to understand who you were and what you’ve become before we reveal the truth.)” (Selene)
“(Do as you wish…)” (me)
I cross my arms and close my eyes. It seems like I’m messing everything up here. Just like Selene said, I’m trying to rush things, and my focus is only on finishing this whole matter, but that’s not the way, or at least it shouldn’t be the right way for me to get through this ordeal. In the end, I’m just running away again.
That’s why I let my mother handle everything. I trust her, and I also trust her experience to deal with this, at least in this part where I don’t know what I’m doing or what she’s going to do.
“I followed his story, I know…” (Hana)
“Knowing what he went through isn’t the same as knowing what he went through.” (Selene)
“Look…” (Selene)
Selene pulled out two hand mirrors that carry a trace of my Aura and Selene’s Divinity.
“These mirrors contain your son’s memories and emotions; they aren’t all of his memories, just the most significant ones, whether good or bad.” (Selene)
“You will know what he saw, what he thought, and what he felt, not only in his past life, but also in his current life, even if only a part of his current life.” (Selene)
“…” (me)
“How did you manage something like this?” (Hana)
Tears
“You… you… knew him…?” (Hana)
Tears
Here come her damn crocodile tears again, as if any lamentation mattered at this point.
“Normally, Souls that follow the natural path are taken to the Circle of Reincarnation where their emotions, memories, and consciousness are swept away so that the Souls can have a new life as a new person.” (Selene)
“Those condemned to stay in Hell skip this, some even more special cases also skip this to be reborn with their entire previous life consciousness.” (Selene)
“So he’s one of those rare cases?” (Hana)
“Because of him you’re here, right?” (Hana)
“In a way, yes.” (Selene)
“Now, if you want to know more about him, why don’t you hold this mirror and try to look at your reflection?” (Selene)
“…” (Hana)
My mother pulls out two mirrors with red frames that appear to be made of crystal, but extends only one to Hana, who hesitates before standing up, her eyes focused on the mirror. As soon as she leaves the coffin and takes a few steps towards us, she takes the mirror with her arms, which almost lose their shape from trembling so much.
She hesitated for a few moments before looking at her reflection in the mirror. It wasn’t long before tears began to stream down her face once more.
“(What exactly are you showing her?)” (me)
“(All the main points of her previous life are in that mirror, and unfortunately, there are far more sad points than happy ones.)” (Selene)
My previous life wasn’t so bad. I had some truly nice people around me and a successful career doing what I loved.
I may not have had many happy moments that are memorable, but it was a good life all things considered.
“How long will it take?” (Me)
“A few seconds for us, but for her it must seem like hours… ohh? It seems like it’s over.” (Selene)
Suddenly the mirror shatters into blood that drips from Hana’s translucent hands, her face contorted in despair.
“Take this, this mirror contains the first two years of your son’s life after his rebirth, only the memorable moments, just like before.” (Selene)
“…” (Hana)
Tears
She kept crying, and that irritated me a little. I didn’t want to see that kind of expression on her face; it made me feel worse.
“So, what are you thinking of doing?” (Selene)
“Reversing fate… that is, if she proves worthy of me leaving everything behind for good, if I’m able to achieve it…” (me)
Her body seemed to be collapsing, but the demonic energies maintained her structure now, and my mark on her did the rest. It seems that whatever the mirrors showed her was too much of an impact to bear.
She wakes up still lost, her aura full of confusion and uncertainty, but a deep sadness surges like a tidal wave, sweeping away all other emotions in her aura.
“I… I should have been there… I needed to be there… why…? Why wasn’t I there!?” (Hana)
Her aura shattered, and she fell unconscious, but her aura and actions showed everything I needed to know. Unfortunately, the path she chose is precisely the one I wanted to avoid.
“Are you going to move on now?” (Selene)
“I still need to talk to her, but the decision is made, at least on my side.” (me)
“Now it will only depend on you.” (Selene)
“…” (me)
My mother turns and leaves, not even bothering to glance at the woman on the floor again.
“I don’t have time for this…” (me)
“<Get up>” (me)
My words contain my Will, and from it arises the power of Chaos, which once again affects her Soul, which enters a state of flux, reforming itself into its form, which now seems thinner.
In a short time she woke up and seemed to still be trying to digest the information she received from those mirrors.
I wait a few more minutes; she gets up, looking at me as if I were someone suspicious, while at the same time seeming desperate, as if she didn’t dare believe what she saw.
“That wasn’t him, it couldn’t have been him…” (Hana)
“Everything you saw is the truth, a part of the truth. I don’t believe she showed everything, especially in this second mirror.” (me)
“He became… became… a monster…?” (Hana)
“Yes, he was reborn as a monster.” (me)
“He… he’s still alive?” (Hana)
“Yes.” (me)
“Is he safe?” (Hana)
“No, danger surrounds him on all sides.” (me)
“What!?” (Hana)
I let her ask. With each question, it seemed she was organizing her thoughts with everything she had learned about me. Even without knowing what my mother had put in those mirrors, it was clear, at least, about some of the events I went through, like my evolutions that were torture for me.
As soon as I mention her son being in danger, her mind seems to clear, the worry in her aura resurfaces, and she focuses her gaze on me again.
“Do you want something from my son?” (Hana)
“No, but it’s because of him that you’re here.” (me)
“You’re not important, but you’re associated with someone important.” (me)
“I have no value to him, who has never even seen my face, not to mention that he probably hates me.” (Hana)
“There’s no point in trying to dissuade us when you don’t understand your situation.” (me)
“Why is all this happening now!?” (Hana)
“With the boy you abandoned right in front of you, are you going to keep dwelling on the past?” (Me)
“…” (Hana)
As if my last question had finally made something click inside her, suddenly her eyes widened, focused on me, her hands extended as if wanting to confirm reality, but a single thought was enough for dark chains to emerge from my shadow, binding her limbs and immobilizing her.
“Now tell me, do you know who I am?” (Me)
“It can’t be…” (Hana)
“Why not?” (Me)
“When you entered my memories…?” (Hana)
“I wanted to understand who you were.” (Me)
“Your questions before…?” (Hana)
“I wanted to know what you desired.” (Me)
“The mirrors from before…?” (Hana)
“That was her idea, she wanted you to understand at least partially who I am.” (Me)
“…” (Hana)
“I was that boy who was abandoned, the one who was rejected from birth and who was rejected repeatedly throughout his life.” (Me)
“My little boy…” (Hana)
