Chapter 1731 - 1024: Spirit Temple Holy Beast

It seemed Tami’s agreement had caught Elizabeth by surprise, causing her to momentarily stop moving.

"Really, you’re willing to rescue the Dark Princess?" she confirmed once more.

Tami nodded this time, not saying anything more.

Right now, the plot was unfolding in a classic story arc: the princess is abducted by a major villain, and he has to become the Hero to defeat the villain and win the princess’s heart. Maybe there could even be a dramatic scene where he can’t initially defeat the villain but ultimately triumphs due to the bonds shared with the princess.

However, the only two problems were that he didn’t have deep bonds with the Dark Princess, and he couldn’t have a Burst Seed moment; that’s an ability of a Hero.

Tami agreed because he was part of the Skyrim Strategy Group.

If he didn’t explore the dungeon in front of him, how could he qualify as part of a Strategy Group? Facing the unknown should be done head-on!

It didn’t matter even if Manus couldn’t be defeated; no Fishing Man gives up fishing because they can’t catch fish!

"Am I giving a strange example?"

Tami pinched his brow, pulled a large Image Stone from his pocket, fitted it into a special slot on his chest plate, and turned to Elizabeth. "Since I’ve agreed to take down the Master of the Abyss, shouldn’t you help me out a bit? Do you have a map or some guidance for me?"

Adventurers instinctively assume that the residual shadow characters in Sain Dungeon might give them some rewards if asked for, and it doesn’t cost much to ask.

"I will assist you as much as I can, because Ulashiro’s magic is with me, so..."

"The Wolf Knight Artorias, one of the Four Knights Under King, just passed by here."

Elizabeth added suddenly:

"If you can encounter him, stay by his side and act with him; the Abyss Wanderer will safeguard you. This is your only way to move through the Abyss."

Artorias is probably waiting to ambush me on my way to Ulashiro...

Tami didn’t voice this sarcastic thought.

At this point, Elizabeth, this great mushroom, had no more intel to share, and he knew it was time to leave.

First, he needed to find Maru and the others, then tackle Artorias as a group. There’s strength in numbers, and with their current stats, they wouldn’t feel as helpless as before.

But when he overlooked the entire Royal Garden from above earlier, he didn’t spot his companions; where could they have gone? Either hiding somewhere or simply not entering with him. He hoped for the former.

Because the Ulashiro region was clearly more challenging than the Wolf Knight’s Painting World, expecting one to solo it with such high difficulty was utterly unreasonable.

Tami’s gaze shifted to the Fog Gate behind him.

Elizabeth had said there was a Temple Holy Beast guarding the Urasil Spirit Temple inside the Fog Gate. Anyone wishing to enter needed to pass the beast’s trial.

Could he interpret this to mean that beyond this Fog Gate and the battle arena with the Spirit Temple Holy Beast, there was another area? Maru and the others might be on the other side, while he was here for unknown reasons.

Then, it’s time to meet the Spirit Temple Holy Beast.

Not only to reunite with his companions but also to assess the power of this Boss Monster equipped with a Fog Gate.

For Tami, the current situation felt like the main quest was to take down the Master of the Abyss and rescue the Dark Princess, with an optional main quest to find his companions, and a side quest to defeat the Spirit Temple Holy Beast.
