Chapter 357 - The Last Struggle (2)
"Ugh!" In the cracked ground, Isaac's legs were shaking as he held the gun above his head. An enormous steel sword was striking him down, but he could still keep standing!
His invisible muscles bulged, blood vessels protruded, and veins popped up around his sweat-drenched forehead.
The Avatar gritted his teeth and increased his strength. An ooze of hot air left his nostrils, and his already-destroyed armor cracked as his muscles bulged.
Isaac's knees began slowly bending down, and he felt every part of his body screaming to stop this. He should have never been able to continue blocking the sword strike. Even he doesn't understand how his body hasn't broken yet.
"Grah, fall!" The Avatar felt anger emit from the depth of his soul, and a crazed look was about to replace his anger-filled face. Even after increasing its strength, the sword moved only an inch down.
"Grrr…" Isaac's eyes showed a powerful glint as his curved knees slowly straightened up!
The Avatar's eyes shook as he saw the sword moving up. He was slowly losing the battle of the strength that shouldn't be possible!
'What… What… What is happening?' A voice rang in Isaac's mind. Something supernatural and unnatural was happening inside his body. It was like all excess strength hidden in his body was slowly getting released.
Inside his heart and brain. The loosened chains caused a tiny portion of his strength to be released, a somewhat permanent effect.
When his body felt more stress, more bright light would be released even while the chains were quite tightly shut.
"Haaahh!" Isaac's let out a powerful shout and pushed the sword away from him slowly. Soon, his arms were extended forth, and his back standing straight.
Then, the Avatar had enough. He moved the sword away and kicked Isaac away with the tip of his steel shoe.
Isaac flew across the dusty air of the hall and crashed through a solid pillar. The pillar crashed down, and his body became hidden underneath the pile of debris.
"I am the winner!" The Avatar bellowed out and looked around him. The players were slumped on the ground with defeated looks painted on their faces.
The camera was still floating close to the ceiling.
[*****: Players from South Continent are indeed inferior, can't even defeat one Avatar]
[*****: I am glad that I am from West Continent, we are the strongest!]
[Divinity: Did you guys not hear what the Avatar said at the start of the match? He is currently much stronger than the previous versions of Avatar]
[*****: So what?]
[Divinity: So what? Even your so-called Pro Players barely survived, and don't forget about those suicide attacks that hundreds of your Continent's players were forced to do to defeat the Avatar]
[*****: …]

Then, while the chat was fighting between each other. Someone stood up among the fallen players. He was a dark-haired young man with a handsome face painted in blue blood. His tattered green robes made him look beaten up, but there was a certain glint shimmering from his eyes.
"You… Aren't… Winner!" Darth said aloud with an exhausted look. He wobbled around, barely able to keep standing.
The Avatar turned around and looked at the defeated-looking man. He didn't change his expression. Instead, he raised his sword and slashed it down!
Darth looked without fear at the falling sword and knew that he couldn't defend against the death this time.
However, when the sword was about to slice through Darth, the blade's tip cracked, and it became a domino effect.
The whole blade was covered in cracks like spiderwebs until it broke apart!
The Avatar's eyes shook as he saw the shards of the broken blade flying across the air. He was shocked. There was no logical explanation for his treasured sword to be broken in his mind.
Except for one thing…
"Was it because…" The Avatar's fearful eyes went toward the pile of debris, 'Was it because I hit that gun with my sword… How can it be so durable?! Who is that young man! Who the hell is he?!'
Darth gritted his teeth and pulled out an arrow from his quiver. Then, he staggered forward and stuck the pointy end of the arrow at the Avatar's foot!
"Argh!" The Avatar screamed out. He was about to get rid of Darth, but his vision became hazy.
He rubbed his eyes, but everything was unclear and hazy.
"Heh… It was a poison arrow…" Darth let out a strained chuckle.
The Avatar looked enraged. He raised his foot and stomped it down. Even though he couldn't see properly, he knew where he was!
However, then, a white hair fluttered, and Darth was pushed to the side.
Darth's eyes swam, and he was shocked to get pushed to the side. When he turned around to look at the culprit, it was Isaac who pushed him to safety.
Then, Isaac raised his bruised arms again with his gun placed in his hands. When the Avatar felt the weapon's aura, he halted his attack with fear filling his face.
"Ugh…" Darth gritted his teeth, went toward the Avatar's leg, and stabbed it with another arrow, this time, it was an ordinary arrow.
The Avatar screamed out of rage and tried to move away. But, he soon felt his limbs becoming jelly and unresponsive.
His HP was rapidly decreasing, and he could see his vision becoming dark. The death was inching closer, and he felt only one thing, cold.
Darth tried to pull out another arrow but couldn't keep on standing and fell to the ground. His heavy eyelids forced his eyes shut, but he didn't want to miss the scene.
"Whew…" Isaac rested his cheek on the gun's stock and felt different emotions running through his veins. In the distance was the Avatar, kneeling on the ground with a defeated look.
The Avatar slowly rose his head and saw the end of the barrel looking at him.
After Isaac placed his finger on the trigger, the Avatar said, "See you on the God Realm… God Zephyros is waiting…"
BANG!
