White Dragon Lord

Chapter 323: The White Dragon Lord's Plan

  • Next Chapter

After finishing the miscellaneous tasks that had piled up over the past few months, the White Dragon Lord was in a good mood. Following her scent, he found Felicia.

Unusually, Felicia was neither sleeping nor eating in the dining hall. Instead, she was soaking in the White Tower's Elemental Pool, with only her head resting on the floor outside.

When the White Dragon Lord pushed the door open and entered, Felicia merely lifted her eyelids.

Seeing his Dragon Sister's visibly displeased expression, the White Dragon Lord was slightly taken aback.

Who had dared to upset this little princess?!

After thinking it over carefully, he realized the reason.

"What's wrong? Who made my dear sister angry? Do they have a death wish?"

The White Dragon Lord stepped into the Elemental Pool beside Felicia as he spoke, but she just turned her head away.

Seeing her act like this, the White Dragon Lord knew perfectly well that he was the one who had angered her.

Among the four siblings, Felicia was actually the most simple-minded. She clearly distinguished between love and hate, though the only ones who had earned her love were the White Dragon Lord, Elena, and Willy. Everyone else meant nothing to her.

So, when she discovered that her three precious companions had gone out to play without her while she was sleeping, she was naturally furious.

But the White Dragon Lord had no intention of apologizing. He had a better method.

"A present."

An exquisite Gemstone Pendant dangled right in front of Felicia's eyes. Its center was a large, square, milky-white gemstone surrounded by three circles of small diamonds. Even without counting the equipment's inherent enchantments and craftsmanship, the gemstone materials alone were worth a fortune.

The White Dragon Lord felt Felicia's heartbeat suddenly skip a beat, yet her face remained entirely expressionless. However, just looking at her slightly twitching lips and clenched jaw, he knew exactly how hard she was trying to hold back.

"You really don't want it?"

The White Dragon Lord held back his laughter.

"If you really don't want it, I'll just take back this piece of Legendary equipment I went out of my way to trade for. It's perfectly suited for a priest. Oh my, it seems I'm going to have one more item for my collection."

He made a show of withdrawing the pendant.

Felicia instantly grew anxious. She lunged out of the Elemental Pool and bit down on the pendant in his hand. The White Dragon Lord naturally let go.

“Are you Magma?!” (Note: Magma is the name of Willy's lava hound.)

The White Dragon Lord "fearfully" pulled his claw back. With the pendant in her mouth, Felicia glared fiercely at her older brother, then spat the pendant out.

"There's no taking back something you've already given away!"

"Hehe, not angry anymore?"

The White Dragon Lord extended a claw with a grin and patted his Dragon Sister's head.

Felicia grumpily dodged his claw. After such a fuss, she couldn't have stayed angry even if she wanted to.

However, she still felt a little indignant.

"Amos, why didn't you guys take me when you went out?"

"Who told you to be sleeping when we left? Besides, if we all went out, who would guard the house?"

The White Dragon Lord reasoned smoothly.

"The heavy responsibility of guarding the house can only be entrusted to the most powerful, trustworthy, and closest dragon, of course."

Hearing his explanation, Felicia knew perfectly well that her brother was just sweet-talking her again, but she still couldn't help feeling happy.

She shook her head, tossing the "happiness" from her face, and feigned seriousness.

"Forget it. I'll forgive you this once."

Saying that, Felicia held up her new gift and examined it carefully, unable to hide the joy on her face. Wealth like gemstones was a dragon's favorite thing to begin with, let alone a piece of Legendary equipment that provided a massive boost to combat power.

After a while, she finished studying it.

"Amos! What did you bring so many Titans and giants back for?"

"To train the young dragons."

The White Dragon Lord lifted his head and stared into his Dragon Sister's eyes.

"Not just the young dragons. You and Willy are the same; you both have to undergo combat training with the Titans."

Heading to the Abyss Battlefield, the White Dragon Lord had no intention of leaving his Dragon Brother and Dragon Sister at home.

In this feast on the Luoduoluo Plane, the minimum combat power qualified to enter the battlefield was a legendary practitioner. Even High-Tier Legends were pulling out all the stops, giving it their all to seize the maximum benefits in the shortest possible time. This was a high-intensity, high-risk plunderers' war with no bottom line and no rules.

A legendary powerhouse couldn't even guarantee their own safety in this massive war, which was why the White Dragon Lord didn't dare let Willy stray too far from him. But the Blood War Battlefield was different.

On the Blood War Battlefield, battles involving combatants above High-Tier Legend were separated from the ordinary battlefield. As long as a legendary powerhouse didn't have terrible luck and run into a siege by multiple enemies of the same tier, their safety generally wasn't an issue.

"The Titan Race also frequents the Blood War Battlefield, so you need to adapt to fighting Titans as quickly as possible."

Felicia's eyes lit up. The White Dragon Lord's words revealed that she and the other dragons would also be going to the Blood War Battlefield.

"No problem, Amos! I guarantee I'll beat them black and blue."

The White Dragon Lord smiled. It was a gloating smile.

'Ah, Felicia... the one getting beaten black and blue will probably be you...'

...

The next day, in the hall of White Castle.

"Your Excellency Sinod, I am truly sorry for having to trouble you again."

The White Dragon Lord glared at Felicia.

'Look at what you've done!'

Feeling guilty, Felicia turned her head away, not daring to meet his eyes.

"It's nothing, it's nothing. I'm getting old, so it's good for me to move around more."

Priest Sinod stood up and stretched his body.

"Well then, Your Excellency Amos, we shouldn't delay. Let's get to it."

"Please, follow me."

The White Dragon Lord led the way toward the White Tower, calling out to Willy and Felicia, who were trying to quietly slip away.

Going all the way down to the first underground level of White Castle, the White Dragon Lord stood in front of a wall. The Tower Spirit opened a hidden magical door, revealing a passageway to the second underground level where dangerous creatures were imprisoned.

Following the spiral staircase, the group descended.

Seeing them arrive, Magma, who was guarding the prison, stepped aside, revealing an enchanted iron door behind him.

The White Dragon Lord pushed the door open, and everyone took in the scene inside the prison.

Inside four cages formed of magical energy, three Titans and one giant were imprisoned separately. All of them were at the Legendary Rank Level.

These four legends were the survivors of the clash of Forbidden Spells during the battle against the Frost Titans.

At the time, four High-Tier Legends were trading full-power blows in the sky, and the closest place to the battlefield was the mine pit below. To survive the terrifying might of Forbidden Spells, these four legendary powerhouses needed both luck and strength; lacking either meant certain death.

Even so, they had sustained heavy injuries and were immediately captured by the forces of Nordhill. Furthermore, the moment they arrived in Nordhill, they were brutally beaten by Felicia. Currently, the three Titans and one giant were a miserable sight to behold.

If left to recover on their own, it would take them at least two or three years, which led to the current scene.

Seeing the wounded, Priest Sinod wasted no words and immediately got to work.

After a flash of golden light, all four were mostly restored to health. At the very least, they looked fine on the outside, though they were still somewhat weak internally.

"Alright. With a few more days of rest, they should be back to normal."

Priest Sinod accepted the Dimensional Bag the White Dragon Lord handed him. Without even opening it to check, he tucked it directly into his robes.

Clerics had to make a living, too. In fact, healing the major noble factions was one of their primary sources of income, and they usually charged based on the severity of the injuries.

But at Priest Sinod's tier, not just anyone could hire him.

"Thank you for your hard work, Your Excellency Sinod. Since you're here, why don't you..."

Priest Sinod declined the White Dragon Lord's invitation to stay, citing a busy schedule.

After seeing Priest Sinod out, the White Dragon Lord returned to the prison and stared at the three Titans and one giant in their cages.

In front of his mortal enemy, one of the Titans refused to show weakness. He stared fiercely at the White Dragon Lord, looking as if he wanted to eat him alive.

"Want to kill me?!"

Sensing the anger and killing intent radiating from the Titan, the White Dragon Lord mocked him.

"Do you want me to give you a chance?"

The Titan's throat bobbed. He was about to get up from the floor, but ultimately stayed down.

"Dragon! I know I'm no match for you. I won't bring humiliation upon myself."

The White Dragon Lord raised an eyebrow.

"Very good. At least you have some self-awareness."

With a sinister smile, the White Dragon Lord brought his massive dragon head close to the cage, his freezing breath spraying over the Titan.

"So, self-aware Titan... tell me, how should I deal with you all?"

The Titan couldn't help but shudder. To a Titan, falling into the hands of a dragon was even more terrifying than falling into the hands of a Demon—especially the Chromatic Dragons.

However, beaten but unbowed, the Titan gritted his teeth.

"Since I've fallen into your hands, I never expected to leave alive."

"Mm. Good awareness."

The White Dragon Lord chuckled.

"As it happens, my sister is a priestess of Her Majesty the Dragon Queen. How about we sacrifice you to please her?"

"No! You can't do that!"

Terrified, the Titan leaped up from the ground like a startled rabbit. The White Dragon Lord's proposal was ten thousand times more horrifying than simply killing them.

If live Titans fell into the hands of Tiamat, who was famous for her cruelty, anyone could guess their fate. It would be ten thousand times more agonizing than death by a thousand cuts.

"Ahhh!"

The three Titans who jumped up bumped their heads against the energy pillars at the top of the cage, and arcs of lightning flashed across their bodies. The giant, being shorter, managed to escape this fate.

Compared to their physical pain, the Titans cared far more about the White Dragon Lord's words. In their eyes, his terror level had skyrocketed.

"Oh? I can't do that? Why not?"

The White Dragon Lord scoffed, sizing up his prisoners.

"Don't you Titans also love sacrificing dragons to that majesty of yours?"

The Titan opened his mouth but couldn't utter a single word. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, his entire body trembling.

It seemed Tiamat's deterrence was even greater than he had imagined. Seeing the prisoners terrified to this extent, the White Dragon Lord decided to stop while he was ahead.

"You should rejoice that you still have some use! Otherwise, you'd already be on your way to meet Her Majesty the Dragon Queen!"

Hearing this, the Titans suddenly realized the truth.

That's right! If he was going to sacrifice them, why bother getting a priest to heal their injuries!

They had just been scared out of their wits by the mere mention of Tiamat. Now that they understood, the Titans looked a bit ashamed and furious. Gritting their teeth, they glared at the White Dragon Lord. They wanted to lose their tempers but didn't dare, terrified that if they angered him, he really would sacrifice them to Tiamat.

The White Dragon Lord saw deep fear in their eyes, which was exactly what he wanted.

"Your only value is as training tools! If you don't want to be sacrificed, then cooperate obediently."

When they had arrived in Nordhill, the Council's professional penal personnel had forcibly planted contracts in the Titans' minds. Bound by these contracts, the Titans couldn't even commit suicide.

But these forcibly signed contracts had a flaw: they couldn't alter the Titans' will. Although he couldn't change their minds, the White Dragon Lord could use the contracts to strip away the Titans' consciousness at any time, turning them into idiots.

However, if he did that, they would lose their effectiveness for training.

Therefore, the White Dragon Lord used intimidation to control them, ensuring the Titans willingly became training tools.

"Cooperate or be sacrificed. The choice is yours."

The White Dragon Lord turned and left.

Felicia and Willy were waiting in the White Tower's hall. Seeing him come out of the side chamber, the two dragons happily surrounded him.

"Amos, how did it go?"

Through Felicia, Willy also knew that the White Dragon Lord had specifically kept these Titans alive to train them.

"It should be fine. If there are any problems, Felicia, just sacrifice those Master Tier giants one by one right in front of them."

"No problem. I'm great at that!"

Willy and Felicia began chatting with a smile in the hall of White Castle, while the White Dragon Lord turned and went upstairs.

'My foolish little brother and sister. Let's hope you can still laugh in a few days.'

Wearing a gloating smile, the White Dragon Lord walked up to the second floor of the White Tower.

The Titans had just received treatment and needed a few days to rest.

The White Dragon Lord arrived at his own lounge. Having his Dragon Brother and Dragon Sister conduct combat training with the Titans was preparation for the Blood War Battlefield.

After making these arrangements for his younger siblings, the White Dragon Lord began to consider himself.

First was the main force of the war—professionals below the Legendary Rank. The White Dragon Lord didn't need to worry about this aspect. The gnolls, New Murlocs, Ogres, trolls, and others were all perfectly suited for the role of cannon fodder.

Second was the Floating Tower. The Floating Tower had to be completed before heading to the Blood War Battlefield, and it needed to be reinforced as much as possible.

A Floating Tower wasn't just a Mage Tower that could fly. It required greater magical amplification, stronger mana conduction, and the ability to resist the cutting force of spatial turbulence... All in all, a complete setup would cost at least four to five million points.

Of course, this was because the White Tower's volume was incredibly massive. A standard Floating Tower could be secured for just one or two million points.

And this was only the minimum configuration for a Floating Tower. If he wanted to strengthen it further, he would have to invest even more resources.

The White Dragon Lord had a premonition that the wealth he had worked so hard to accumulate was going to flow away like water, leaving him deeply depressed.

"Fortunately, I made a massive profit in the Luoduoluo Plane; otherwise, I really would have had to wait twenty years."

The last thing was suitable magical equipment. The best option would be equipment enchanted with a Forbidden Spell, though absurd legendary magic like Greater Disjunction was also acceptable.

But equipment enchanted with Forbidden Spells was always priced without supply. To buy equipment suited for him, he would need immense luck.

"His Excellency the Speaker is one avenue, and I could also try my luck in the Star Realm. The Winter Legion..."
