Zhou Qi rested both hands behind his head and drawled, "He’s busy going on blind dates."

These days the team was on vacation, so Zhou Qi and An Rui naturally didn’t have anything urgent to do.

"Blind dates?"

Cheng Chen froze for a second. "How old is he anyway, why’s he already being set up on blind dates?"

"His mom’s scared he’ll end up marrying the game."

Thinking about how insane An Rui was about gaming, Cheng Chen shivered. Honestly, it wasn’t impossible.

But still...

She turned to look at Zhou Qi and gave him a playful blink. "If he’s going to marry something, it won’t be the game. It should be you."

"Get lost, get lost, get lost. Your brother here is a straight-up man."

"Oh? Really?"

Zhou Qi’s face went dark. He didn’t care that Si Yan was driving at the moment; he leaned forward and slapped Si Yan on the shoulder. "Hey, say something, will you? This is what you call bad upbringing."

Si Yan smiled. "Mm, Cheng Chen’s right."

"You..."

Cheng Chen and Xiao Rou were already cracking up. Cheng Chen didn’t care that there were other people in the car; she tipped her head back and lightly brushed a kiss against Si Yan’s cheek.

"Reward."

Zhou Qi’s face went even darker.

Very soon, the car stopped in front of a barbecue place, and the four of them went into a private room.

Cheng Chen grandly rattled off a huge order, then finally looked at the other three. "Anything you want to add?"

Zhou Qi was speechless. Missy, you just ordered your way through the entire beef and seafood sections; if we can finish that it’ll be a miracle, and you still wanna add?

Si Yan didn’t react much, but Xiao Rou quietly raised her hand. "Let’s add some veggies."

Cheng Chen was stunned. "Veggies? Little Rou’er, are you okay? We’re at a barbecue, barbecue, and you want greens?"

"I’m dieting."

Xiao Rou continued speaking quietly.

Cheng Chen froze again, and her gaze immediately roamed up and down over Xiao Rou.

Xiao Rou, dieting?

Xiao Rou wasn’t tall, and you couldn’t call her skinny as a twig, but she was definitely nowhere near fat—very slim, just right.

And someone like that actually said she wanted to lose weight.

Good thing Cheng Chen herself was quite thin, or she’d really think this girl was mocking her.

"Are you okay? What are you even losing weight for?"

Xiao Rou didn’t explain much, just nudged Cheng Chen’s arm. "Just add two."

Cheng Chen’s suspicious look didn’t fade, but she still added two vegetable dishes.

Very soon, the food arrived. The sizzling sound of the meat on the grill was enough to make anyone’s appetite flare up. Si Yan opened a can of coconut juice and set it in front of Cheng Chen.

Across from them, Zhou Qi also opened a can of coconut juice, stuck in a straw, and set it in front of Xiao Rou.

Cheng Chen and Xiao Rou had been friends for years; she knew Xiao Rou’s habits very well. Adding in how off Xiao Rou had been when they were ordering, Cheng Chen instinctively paid a bit more attention to how Xiao Rou was acting.

They both loved barbecue, grilled fish and that sort of thing.

But today, Xiao Rou was clearly staring at the sizzling marbled beef, her eyes glazed over, yet her chopsticks just wouldn’t go near it.

Through the whole meal she barely ate anything; when she did, it was only stuff like grilled mushrooms.

Leaving the restaurant, Si Yan took Cheng Chen back to the apartment, while Zhou Qi drove Xiao Rou home.

"Si Yan, did you feel like Little Rou’er was acting weird today?"

On the way back, Cheng Chen couldn’t hold it in and finally voiced the doubt in her heart.

Si Yan and Xiao Rou hadn’t been that familiar originally, but because of Cheng Chen, he knew her fairly well. Hearing Cheng Chen’s question, Si Yan nodded.

"Yeah."

"How’d she end up like this?"

Up ahead, the light turned red. Si Yan slowly brought the car to a stop, turned his head to look at Cheng Chen. "Cheng Chen, I’m not a mind reader."
