Chapter 38
I Don’t Like Being a Lightbulb Either
“Is it convenient for Little Feng?” Sun Bi asked carefully.
She was a shy person and not very good at expressing herself. Lei Jin’s father was very capable and did not need her to do much so she did not ask for help very often.
How could Mother Luo not be willing when she heard this? She treated Lei Jin as half a son. Xiao Feng’s relationship could continue at any time, but there was only one chance to save Lei Jin’s results.
“Sister Sun, take a seat, I’ll get him for you.” Luo Mu stood up and knocked on Luo Feng’s door.
!!At the same time, Luo Feng was revising the math paper they did that day with Ai Tingya.
“Little Tingya, why do you always make the same mistakes here? AD is obviously perpendicular to BC! Look, look, the drawing is very obvious, isn’t it?” Luo Feng almost broke the paper.
Ai Ting Ya didn’t have enough imagination in her space, so she had a hard time with geometry. She couldn’t understand the diagram no matter how Luo Feng explained.
Luo Feng was helpless and drew another supporting imaginary line: “Isn’t this a bit more straightforward?”
“I think I feel something.” Ai Tingya frowned and pointed at a point with a pen. “Does this have a parallel relationship with this one?”
“Right!” Luo Feng clapped his hands in encouragement. She had finally understood.
The two of them buried their heads together as Luo Feng taught Ai Tingya how to solve the problem step by step.
“Not bad! As expected of a student taught by me.” Luo Feng looked at Ai Tingya’s beautiful handwriting and was very satisfied, “However, I think we can add a ‘small punishment’ here in order to leave a deeper impression on you.”
Ai Tingya said reluctantly, “What small punishment?”
“Of course it’s a wet…” Luo Feng didn’t say it explicitly. The corners of his mouth curled into an ambiguous smile, and his eyes slowly moved downwards.
Ai Tingya immediately understood what he meant. She covered her back and said, “You’re shameless. Change it.”
It wouldn’t have such an effect if it was another one.
Luo Feng blew on his palm and said, “The tutoring rules are based on me. If I say this is the punishment, then this is it.”
“You’re so naughty. Don’t come over, or I’ll call Auntie in to take a look.”
“Little Tingya, scream. No one will save you even if you scream your throat out.”
“No, no! Don’t be ridiculous. I think someone’s coming to your house. Listen, there’s a knock on the door.”
“There’s only owls at this time of night. I didn’t apply for Hogwarts. Come over and let the teacher educate you.”
The two of them were fooling around in the room when a knock on the door really came unexpectedly.
Luo Feng’s interest was interrupted, and he opened the door with dissatisfaction: “Mom, we’re at a crucial moment in our studies, can you not disturb us?”
“The neighbors can almost hear your laughter, your Auntie Sun is here, I have something to tell you.” Mother Luo rolled her eyes at Luo Feng, seeing that the smile lines at the corner of her son’s eyes haven’t relaxed yet, how could he say he’s studying seriously?
“Oh, okay.”
Luo Feng agreed and told Ai Tingya to stay in the room obediently. He then walked to the living room and obediently greeted the guest. “Hello Auntie Sun.”
He was quite grateful to Sun Bi. Sun Bi came more frequently than Ai Tingya when he was seriously ill in his previous life after all.
He was at the critical juncture of starting a business before he fell ill. Later on, he urgently needed money, but he did not want to drag Lei Jin and his other business partners down, so he simply took some money home and laid flat.
At that time, he felt like the sky was about to collapse. He lay alone in the cold house and didn’t eat anything for two days and two nights. It was Lei Jin who broke the door and forced him to go to the hospital for treatment.
At that time, Luo Feng was in a daze and couldn’t remember anything clearly. He only remembered Sun Bi standing in front of his bed and wiping her tears. She knew that he had no parents and no one to take care of him, so she came to deliver lunch and dinner twice a day.
Later on, he found out that Sun Bi and the others took out all their savings to help him treat his illness. However, Luo Feng knew that he couldn’t repay them, so he rejected their good intentions and got the people from charities to bring him along.
He had no way to repay this kindness.
“Little Feng, Auntie has something to ask of you.” Sun Bi fidgeted with her fingers nervously.
Luo Feng smiled. “Auntie Sun, I know you’re here for Lei Jin’s results, no problem. One of my classmates is also tutoring at my house coincidentally so the three of us can accompany each other.”
Luo Feng caught a glimpse of Ai Tingya hiding behind the door crack and snickering as they were talking. He took a guess about the timing of Sun Bi’s arrival. Why didn’t she come earlier or later? She just had to bump into the first day of tutoring. This girl must have done something.
“I know that Xiao Feng is the most generous. Xiao Jin even asked me to ask for a favor.” Sun Bi said, comforted. “Is it convenient tonight? I’ll get Xiao Jin to come over now.”
“Alright, ask him to bring today’s math paper along.” Luo Feng agreed.
It seemed like he was the one who suggested participating in the tutoring judging from Sun Bi’s tone. Why didn’t his brother tell him personally?
Luo Feng felt that there was something fishy going on.
After a while, Lei Jin appeared in front of Luo Feng’s house. He lowered his head like a puppy that was caught, his eyes were darting around and he didn’t dare to meet Luo Feng’s gaze.
Luo Feng brought Lei Jin into the room after greeting the three parents.
“Dude, I didn’t mean to ruin your virgin night.”
Lei Jin was the first to make his stand clear as soon as he entered. Luo Feng could guess what he was going to say. He had to save his grades, so he had no choice but to come.
“Tingya told you about it?” Luo Feng said helplessly. No wonder she could accept the “tutoring rules” so easily. She had already found someone to save the situation.
Lei Jin nodded. He really couldn’t resist this temptation. The tutoring provided by two top students couldn’t be bought with money. Since Ai Tingya’s tutoring could make Luo Feng the first place in their grade, he might be able to get into a third-tier university with their help.
He carefully raised his head. Even though this wasn’t the first time he entered Luo Feng’s room, the room had an additional layer of privacy with the addition of Ai Tingya.
It was at this moment that Lei Jin saw the “Tutoring Rules” hanging on the bookshelf. The red pen’s highlights were too tempting. Was this something a teenager should read?
Lei Jin, who didn’t dare to look at Luo Feng just a minute ago, opened his mouth and revealed a vulgar smile: “Teacher Luo Feng, can I teach you Sweetie? Is it not intimate enough?”
“Scram.” Luo Feng kicked his butt. “What are you doing here?”
“Sweetie, don’t be shy. What did Ai Tingya call you? I will address you the same way.” Lei Jin teased.
Only then did Ai Tingya realize the shameful “Tuition Rules” was hanging in a conspicuous place. She pulled the paper off in a panic, crumpled it into a ball, and threw it in the corner.
“Sister-in-law is shy, hahaha!” This time, it was Lei Jin’s turn to hold his stomach. “Don’t worry, Sister-in-law. My mouth is very tight. I definitely won’t tell anyone. Don’t you think so, Sweetie?”
Luo Feng glared at him: “I’ll sew your mouth up if you keep this up.”
“Alright, alright!” Ai Tingya interrupted him in embarrassment. “Hurry up and study. Don’t waste time.”
“No problem, Sister-in-law!”
