Time swiftly passed, and the day of Ji Xiaoyu’s duel with The Undefeated Emperor had finally arrived. The cultivators of Dao Court followed Ji Xiaoyu, descending onto a barren meteor.

The void was vast and dimly lit, scattered with countless meteors suspended in space. Above them, the sky shimmered with multicolored divine light, casting a faint glow over the darkness, yet unable to dispel the oppressive atmosphere.

Ji Xiaoyu stepped forward, walking into the void, while the others remained behind on the meteor’s surface, waiting.

Xiao Lan watched Ji Xiaoyu with deep concern. Having spent years together, Ji Xiaoyu had always looked after her, teaching her techniques and divine abilities. In Xiao Lan’s heart, Ji Xiaoyu was more like a master than a peer. Now, knowing the terrifying strength of The Undefeated Emperor, how could she not worry?

The vast void felt silent yet suffocating.

Though The Undefeated Emperor had yet to appear, an overwhelming pressure already permeated the space, causing unease.

Once Ji Xiaoyu had distanced herself from the meteor where Dao Court resided, she stood still in the void, waiting.

Time passed.

Suddenly—

“Haah!”

A thunderous roar echoed through the void, shaking everyone’s thoughts.

Following that first roar, more battle cries erupted, growing louder and more intense, as if millions of warriors were roaring in unison, their voices shaking the heavens.

The cultivators of Dao Court tensed, their gazes locking onto the depths of the void, where a brilliant red light began to expand rapidly.

Xiao Lan narrowed her eyes and peered ahead. Within that crimson radiance, raging flames surged, and a towering, god-like figure strode forth.

The Undefeated Emperor!

He wore a dark-red chainmail armor, a crimson sash tied around his waist, and wide trousers that fluttered wildly in the wind. His face was strikingly handsome, yet his expression remained cold and indifferent. A deep-red crown adorned his forehead, and his long black hair danced freely in the air, his imposing presence shaking the very fabric of reality.

With every step, he strode through the flames, his movements like those of a dragon or a tiger, his sheer aura distorting the void itself.

Behind him, countless figures emerged from the flames, each exuding an overwhelming presence. Though they remained silent, the thunderous war cries still echoed through the void, shaking the heavens.

From afar, the cultivators of Dao Court could hardly maintain their composure. Their expressions turned grim, and their hearts pounded violently.

“Is the Tai Chu Divine Domain truly this powerful?” a Dao Court elder murmured, his face filled with shock.

Yuan Songzi took a deep breath and said solemnly, “This is merely a single imperial clan from the Tai Chu Divine Domain. The true might of the Tai Chu Divine Domain is beyond our imagination. In the Grand Thousand Worlds, only a handful of the top-ranked great worlds can barely compare.”

His words deepened the Dao Court cultivators’ awe toward the Tai Chu Divine Domain, sparking countless thoughts about its unfathomable strength.

At that moment—

The Undefeated Emperor raised his right hand. A surge of blazing flames gathered in his palm, rapidly condensing into a massive spear.

The spear was several times longer than his body, its head enormous, resembling a divine beast’s maw spitting out a razor-sharp blade. Around it, phantoms of mythical creatures flickered, roaring in silent fury.

His cold gaze locked onto Ji Xiaoyu from afar, and he finally spoke:

“You are the Samsara Dao Emperor? To dare claim the name of ‘Samsara’—don’t disappoint me.”

As soon as his words fell, he thrust his spear toward Ji Xiaoyu.

A streak of searing fire shot out, splitting the void in two. The flaming divine beast phantom rushed toward Ji Xiaoyu, its silent roar sending a shockwave through the air. The sheer force of it blew back Ji Xiaoyu’s long hair, fully revealing her cold and flawless face.

She did not speak.

Instead, she raised her right hand. From her palm, thick gray mist coiled out, transforming into giant dragon-like tendrils that spiraled around her body.

A battle between future Dao Sovereign Emperors was about to erupt!

Yuan Songzi stared at The Undefeated Emperor, his heart filled with dread.

Though he could sense that The Undefeated Emperor was still in the Profound Origin Free Immortal Realm, the pressure exuded from him made even a Profound Origin Free Immortal at the peak like himself feel as though he would be instantly annihilated in a single strike.

He had never felt such terror before.

At that moment, he realized—

If The Undefeated Emperor truly desired, he could kill him in an instant!

A deep fear gripped Yuan Songzi’s heart, and his concern for Ji Xiaoyu intensified.

In Qiankun Sect’s main city, tens of thousands of disciples stood on the stone steps surrounding an enormous dueling platform, watching the battles unfold.

Gu An sat among a group of drinking companions, watching the matches with an air of indifference. Meanwhile, An Xin sat further away with the Qiankun Sect’s upper echelon, maintaining an elegant and composed posture. She deliberately avoided looking at Gu An, instead gazing coldly down at the battle below.

Yi Qingshan set down his teacup, turned toward An Xin, and asked with a smile, “Senior, what do you think of this one’s talent?”

On the platform, Yuan Luo, a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator, was currently engaged in combat with a Profound Heart Realm disciple.

The gap between the Nascent Soul Realm and the Profound Heart Realm was immense, separated by the Void Crossing Realm and Body Fusion Realm. Yet in Qiankun Sect, where only the most prodigious talents were accepted, it was evident that a disciple who had not yet reached Nirvana Realm yet still earned a place here was exceptionally gifted.

Even though Yuan Luo was at a lower cultivation level, he completely dominated his opponent.

His raw talent was undeniable, visible to all. Even those at the Immortal Realm watching from the sidelines were visibly impressed.

An Xin replied calmly, “He is indeed remarkable. He could stand toe-to-toe with any of the world’s greatest prodigies.”

Yuan Luo appeared to be only sixteen or seventeen years old, his youthful face not yet fully matured. Yet, with a single palm strike, he sent his opponent flying, dealing serious damage and rendering him unable to continue fighting.

Floating in midair, Yuan Luo turned his gaze toward the grand pavilion where the sect’s high-ranking members were seated and loudly declared, “I want to challenge someone at an even higher realm!”

His words sent waves of shock through the crowd.

The disciples spectating had not expected Yuan Luo to continue challenging stronger opponents, and their expectations for him grew even greater.

The Grand Elder, Lin Chuan, lifted his hand slightly, signaling a Great Ascension Realm disciple to step onto the platform.

Yuan Luo clasped his hands in salute before launching the first attack.

“That kid is really something. No wonder the higher-ups are pushing him so hard.”

One of Gu An’s companions remarked, prompting murmurs of agreement from the others.

However, Gu An was not particularly surprised.

Though Yuan Luo’s cultivation level was restrained by his realm, his lifeblood energy was overwhelming. Even though he appeared to be at the Nascent Soul Realm, his true combat strength was already comparable to a Nirvana Realm cultivator.

While watching the duel, Gu An’s attention also remained fixed on Ji Xiaoyu’s battle on the Path of the Grand Dao.

As expected, Ji Xiaoyu was not The Undefeated Emperor’s equal. Even after exhausting her full strength, she failed to land a decisive blow. However, she managed to injure The Undefeated Emperor, shocking not only him but also the powerful figures from the Tai Chu Divine Domain who had been observing.

But Gu An had no intention of interfering to help Ji Xiaoyu win. That would be meaningless.

His priority was ensuring that Ji Xiaoyu survived.

In their final clash of divine abilities, Ji Xiaoyu was defeated.

Her body was obliterated, leaving only her soul, flickering weakly as she hovered on the brink of annihilation.

At that moment, the Grand Dao fortune she had accumulated on the Path of the Grand Dao completely shifted toward The Undefeated Emperor.

“You are stronger than my previous opponents. Your comprehension of the Reincarnation Dao is impressive. I suspect I will remember you for a very long time.”

The Undefeated Emperor’s voice resonated through the void. He remained as imposing as ever, and the wound on his face only made him look more formidable.

With his long spear in hand, he strode toward Ji Xiaoyu’s soul.

All around, the void was filled with drifting cosmic dust, remnants of shattered meteors from their battle.

Seeing that The Undefeated Emperor intended to finish the job, Yuan Songzi rushed forward, placing himself in front of Ji Xiaoyu and pleading anxiously, “You have already won! There is no need to go to such extremes. Please, let her live!”

The Undefeated Emperor tilted his chin slightly, his gaze disdainful as he looked down upon Yuan Songzi and sneered, “Since when did worms think they could stand in the way of a Dao Sovereign Emperor?”

In the distance, the mighty figures of the Tai Chu Divine Domain advanced forward.

Their boundless might descended upon Yuan Songzi, suffocating him beneath an immeasurable pressure.

At that moment, he felt as though he was about to collapse—as if he would be crushed into dust at any moment.
