What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 614: When Your Plan Backfires

“This can’t be… Weren’t they supposed to be weak?”

“This… This must be a fluke! Damnit! I told you guys to fight them seriously! Look! They got lucky because of that!”

Oh wow… They’re still in denial I see…

The mercenary turned to the announcer, “Hey! They must be cheating somehow right?! There’s no way a bunch of slaves wearing some fetish outfit like them could win!”

Err… Fetish outfits? I’ll have you know that these are proper, practical and top of the line maid uniforms ok? Mother even personally enchanted them!

Also, they look absolutely perfect in them! How dare you diss on maid uniforms?!

You can stuff that useless opinion up your ass!

“Umm… Team sixty wins the first round… Teams six and three… Please send your next group up,” The announcer requested.

The mercenary gritted his teeth, “Don’t ignore me! They must have cheated!! Check them right now!!”

“I apologise but we do have people around that are constantly monitoring the fights to ensure that no cheating occurs and they have indeed been fighting fairly.”

Oh? That’s the first that I’ve heard of that but I guess that works in our favour.

Both the mercenary and the merchant were obviously unhappy to hear that but there was nothing that they could do.

They then started discussing amongst themselves in hushed whispers, probably trying to decide on what they should do next.

It took them only about a minute or two before they suddenly turned back, their confidence suspiciously high.

The mercenary pointed at their tank and the Wrunch, “We use four of our support units to bring them back and we send everyone!”

Ah.

They have seven people now so they were thinking that they could overcome the perceived power difference through numbers instead?

Hmm… I could also use six points to summon two Shadow Guards to make the fight even but that would reveal the fact that Eins was a Shadow Guard too… What’s more, that would also reveal to everyone that I could summon Shadow Guards which was something best kept secret for now…

I suppose I should just use my support units to cast spells from the back to support the girls instead.

The opposing team stepped up onto the stage while my team arranged themselves in the normal formation again.

I mentally told Eins to focus on healing and support while I would be the one throwing offensive spells on the other team.

Looking at their team, they still only had one tank which was the same Mahun while their vanguards had been increased to three with one of them being the Wrunch and the other two being a male Inugami with a spear and a male Mahun with a longsword.

There was also a female Inugami archer while behind her were two male Mahun mages and a female Trasif healer. Searᴄh the NôᴠeFire.ηet website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Seeing that everyone was ready, the announcer made the call for the match to begin.

This time, probably because of their advantage in numbers, the other team took the initiative and charged towards our side instead.

On the other hand, our side was being more cautious and fought more defensively as Odeta stayed where she was in preparation to receive the enemy’s charge.

I thought their tank would be the first to clash with us since he was at the front but he suddenly skidded to a stop unexpectedly.

Before I could wonder if he was afraid of Odeta, the Wrunch leapt over him and had his warhammer raised in the air.

“[Tremor Smash]!”

The same skill was used against my party that blasted out a shockwave towards them.

This time however, the girls were prepared for it and Odeta smashed her fist into the ground while being buffed by Eins.

The punch created a shockwave as well that clashed against the Wrunch’s, cancelling it out in the middle of the arena.

Their archer tried to take advantage of the fact that Odeta was still recovering to shoot an arrow at her, only to have Katsuki catch it out of the air with her hand before throwing it back at her.

The Inugami archer had to duck out of the way to avoid the projectile, growling when she realised that Katsuki was taunting her.

Their tank then resumed his charge and barrelled towards Odeta, aiming to smash at her with his shield.

Odeta lowered herself in a sumo stance as though preparing to catch him, casting [Body Current] on herself.

“[Shield Smash]!” The tank yelled, his shield glowing for a moment as it moved towards Odeta with unnatural speed.

The Amrap braced herself and caught the shield with her hands, stopping it in its tracks without moving an inch.

She then let out a laugh before lifting both the shield and the person wielding it into the air and delivering a suplex on him.

I couldn’t help but let out a gasp of admiration as I saw that fully armoured guy get smashed into the ground on his head without being able to stop it.

Their healer was already doing his best to heal him and just in time too because Odeta went ahead to kick the tank in the chest, denting in the armour.

Ouch… I don’t doubt his ribs might have cracked from that.

The rest of their vanguard finally reached the girls to try and save their tank but Delmare stood in their way, facing the three opponents without fear with just her rapier.

The Wrunch rushed towards her while swinging his warhammer at her from the side.

Delmare knew she could not block the blow with her rapier so she tried to avoid it by taking a step back.

The male Inugami then moved in from the side and tried to stab at her with his spear, forcing her to take another step to the side to dodge it.

The last vanguard member then appeared from the side with her longsword already in midswing and it looked like she would be able to decapitate Delmare if not for my [Static Bolt] flying from behind Delmare that paralysed the Mahun swordswoman.

Delmare reacted immediately to my assist by stabbing her throat with her weapon, obtaining the first ‘kill’ of this round.

The Wrunch and the Inugami rushed towards her to engage again but she expertly danced out of the way, keeping the both of them in check and preventing them from reaching their tank that was still in the midst of being beaten by Odeta.

Their mages seemed to have been preparing some kind of big spell at the back since they finally manifested their magic after all this while.

One of them had materialised a giant ball of fire while the other had created a giant ball of water where either of them would have easily covered half the arena.

I frowned, realising what they were trying to do.

By throwing them both at my party, it would create a devastating steam explosion that would either outright eliminate anyone hit by it or the force would push them out of the arena if they were just out of range.

They were probably counting on at least one of their own remaining inside the arena so that they could beat us by knocking us out of the stage alone.

They most likely never intended to defeat us through a conventional fight at all.

“Katsuki!” I called out, drawing her attention towards the two mages.

She responded immediately by using her [Agility Boost] skill before rushing towards the mage that had materialised the fireball.

He tried to throw the magic before he was eliminated but Katsuki stabbed her dagger into his throat before swinging him around to throw him towards the other mage, knocking him over like a bowling pin.

Unfortunately, the two mages managed to throw those balls out before the arena teleported them outside.

The merchant was laughing at me, “Hahaha! It’s our win you bitch! Do it!”

Their healer cast a spell and rocks appeared all around him before encasing him in an earth mound, most likely to protect him from the resulting blast.

Two can play at that game, asshole…

Eins started casting [Earth Ball] to form a similar shield at the same time as I did, both of us encasing our entire team inside the arena right before the two elemental balls met in the middle, exploding violently and creating a shockwave of steam.

I had to cover my face to protect myself from the gale but I could still hear the two idiots laughing on the other side as though fully expecting their plan to work.

When the steam cleared though, their laughter died when they realised that there was a total of six earth mounds in the arena instead of one.

Their healer broke out from his shell and both Eins and I also released out magic and allowed the mounds to crumble away.

The rest of their team had already been teleported outside the arena so really, that spell worked in our favour instead.

The poor healer was just looking at the girls with a fearful look on his face. He already knew he was fucked.

Odeta simply strolled over to him, picked him up by the scruff of his neck, walked over to the edge of the arena before dropping him.

The healer didn’t even try to fight back and let himself be carried off, probably because he knew if he even tried to resist, he might end up with a broken face.

The announcer cleared his throat, “Ahem… Team sixty wins!”

Fuck yeah we did. Now give me my sweets!!
