The face got closer until only the eye was visible in the sky.

The eye blinked once and the floor got dark again, leaving only the spotlight shining down on me while the rest of the floor was plunged into darkness.

I looked up at the eye and realised this entity, assuming it was an actual entity, was the first one to speak to me after I have been in here for so long.

The eye focused itself on me and it seemed to move closer to me though it also felt like I was the one moving closer to it with the ground rising up towards the eye and the horizon stretching further outwards.

"You’re finally here..." It repeated, even though it did not have a mouth to speak from.

I decided to just talk to it to see where this goes, "What do you mean by that?"

The eye stared at me silently for a moment, as though surprised that I would even talk to it before it spoke again.

"You... Can see me?"

"You’re a literal giant eye in the sky and you’re shining a beam of light down on me right now so... Pretty hard not to see you, actually."

It stared at me silently for a moment again before speaking, "And yet... You seem to be completely unaffected..."

I wanted to ask what that thing was talking about when the space around me shifted again.

The rolling hills and houses melted away and the entire place suddenly changed into a simple white space big enough to fit all of my Shadow Guards who were now standing behind me.

A short distance in front of me, however, was a humanoid figure that looked like those pictures where you have cutouts of pictures depicting different body parts from different people all layered on top of each other to form a single person.

It was quite a bizarre sight and it looked completely wrong. Especially given the fact that it looked two dimensional despite being in a three dimensional space.

It ’walked’ up to me, the action looking like it was doing a crab walk but yet it was moving straight towards me so it really looked wrong to me.

It then stopped a short distance away from me, its two mismatched eyes staring unblinkingly at me.

I had my crown and staff out, fully prepared to fight if whatever this was planned to attack me.

The figure then started to speak, the mouth changing into different pictures just to show that it was moving.

"You... You’re the one..."

I tilted my head, "You’ve been repeating that for a while now... What do you mean by that? I am the one what? The one who is wrecking your place? The one who came in through the portal? Or what?"

The figure didn’t seem to hear my question as it continued to look at me up and down, its eyes changing to different cutouts when it moved and it really looked disconcerting to me to see that.

I waved my hand at it, "Hello? Are you hearing me?"

The figure finally shifted its eyes to look at me, both of them with different eye colours and skin pigmentation, making it look like I was looking at two different people instead of the same person.

"You’re not going crazy either..." It muttered, making me feel a little annoyed that it was still ignoring my question.

I had half a mind to just go over and slap him for ignoring me but managed to hold myself back.

Instead, I decided to do the same thing by ignoring it and turning my back on it just to look around the white room to see if there was any other thing of interest inside this space.

Unfortunately, it seemed like this was really just a completely white space with nothing else around, but I did manage to get the intended effect of getting his attention when he realised I had now chosen to ignore him.

"You... You dare turn your back on me?"

I turned my head slightly to look at it from the corner of my eye, "Oh, you’re willing to talk now?"

The eyes on its cutout face closed for a second before opening again, mimicking the action of blinking, "You were... Talking to me?"

I gestured around the place, "Does it look like there was anyone else around here for me to talk to?"

"You can talk to me?"

What the heck is wrong with this guy? I really want to just punch his face right now.

"Interesting... You can perceive me... And also talk to me... Without going insane..."

"The way you’re talking right now is making me insane. Can you speak normally? What are you talking about when you say that I am the one?"

"You are the one... Who got her attention."

"Who?"

"Her."

"Who is ’her’?"

"Her."

I really want to punch this guy in the face now.

"You’re really getting on my nerves right now," I told the entity bluntly.

The thing went right back to ignoring my words in favour of inspecting me once again, "How curious... What does she see in you? For you to get her attention so? For her to ignore everyone else and only see you? You are nothing."

I frowned, "Wow, rude... You’re really asking to get punched in the face huh?"

"Is it something else? Something deeper perhaps? Maybe inside? Cutting you open might be an option."

It then raised its hand and pointed a finger at me.

In that moment, I figured that I should not be standing still or even be in its line of sight for that matter.

My Shadow Guards immediately cast their healing spell on me to participate in the fight while I rushed at it, pulling back my fist and throwing it forward to smash it into its abdomen.

With that much strength, I fully expected it to fly off into the distance or even just get wiped from existence.

Yet... When my fist hit its body, it felt like I was punching a piece of paper.

Not in the way where the paper was being held up so that your fist would punch through the paper, but more like the paper was freely floating in the air so when you tried to punch it, it would just float away.

And that was what happened to it as the entity simply floated back from the impact instead of disintegrating or even being hurt by it.

I was currently at the state where I could tear holes in space with my bare hands right now, by the way... And the fact that this thing barely showed any reaction to my punch was deeply concerning.

It then shifted its hand and did a slicing motion.

Pain erupted from my chest as I felt a cut appear on my body, starting from my right shoulder to slice down to my left hip.

I looked down and sure enough, my chest had been cut open and instead of looking like someone had sliced it with a blade, it was as if my skin had just been pulled apart and it naturally separated itself.

I knew it was definitely unnatural because there was no blood pouring out of the wound.

The cut was so deep that I could even see my ribs underneath, my organs hidden right under it.

I did not panic as I merely got my Shadow Guards to heal me and the wound closed itself quickly, my flesh knitting back together like nothing even happened.

The entity seemed disappointed by that and it raised its hand again.

This time, I figured that I shouldn’t stay here with what this thing was capable of so I tore open the space in front of me, aiming to jump into it to leave.

But when the tear appeared, I realised on the other side was inky blackness.

I hesitated for a moment, unsure if what awaited me in the blackness was something better or worse than what was happening here.

But that hesitation cost me as the entity made a motion with its hand and the tear instantly restored itself.

"Interesting... You are also able to do something like that despite being a mere mortal... Perhaps... Is this why? Your abnormality... Is that the reason why she has chosen you?" It mused.

This thing really can’t even speak normally... But what can I do to something that could just shrug off my punch like nothing happened?

It then reached up its hand again while I was thinking of all the other potential ways I could deal with it, either burning it with my Shadow Sword or trying to use one of my magic spells to deal with it.

But before either of us could do anything, there was the sound of glass shattering and part of the white space was broken, revealing a red and black figure diving down towards us.

It landed with an earth shaking thud... And I realised who it was when I felt myself get hit by an orgasm almost immediately.

Hiandoca?! What are you doing here?!
