What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1320: Amrap Lands

Chapter 1320: Amrap Lands

If I remember what the map looks like… This part of the forest was a small stretch of forest that connected between the left side of the continent with the right side.

And even though it might look small on the map, the actual place was big enough that I couldn’t see the sea or the giant lake that it separated.

The forest corridor itself would also have been a pretty dense forest if it wasn’t for the path that was also going through it.

“Who is maintaining this path?” I asked, looking at the trees at the side. “Surely someone has to keep the path clear of plants growing on it?”

Odeta grinned at me, “This path stretches between Evolslrig Village and Shield village, Sister Aster! We take turns making sure this path is safe to traverse for trade!”

Oh, so they do engage in trading. I almost thought that they might be completely cut off from the outside world.

Right as I was thinking of asking what they were trading, the sound of something big crashing into something came from the front.

All of us shared a look before we started running towards the source of the noise.

Up ahead, the path widened out a little as the forest got less dense and more spread out. And in the middle of a path, I found myself looking at the back of what looked like some kind of four legged creature that did not have any hair on its body like some kind of giant mole rat.

It seemed like it was fighting against someone in front of it.

I was thinking if I should jump in to help when something struck the front of the creature and it was flung off to the side and crashed into one of the trees.

The tree was surprisingly sturdy as it merely shook a little but did not bend or break from the impact.

The attacker was revealed to be a tall, dark skinned woman with bulging muscles that were comparable in size to Odeta’s. In her hands was a giant hammer that she was swinging with both hands like it weighed nothing.

She leapt above the creature right as it tried to turn towards her again, only for the hammer to come smashing down on top of its head with an explosive bang.

The monster smashed into the ground and bounced up into the air, the woman spinning on her heel to swing the hammer back round again and smashing it into the side of its face.

Once again, the monster was sent flying to the side, its body flying in between two trees to land on the ground with an earth shaking crash.

The woman spun her hammer above her and dropped it on to the ground before nodding in the direction of the monster in satisfaction.

She then noticed us standing a short distance away and waved her hand at us, “Ho there, travellers!! Don’t worry, the path ahead is already cleared!!”

As we moved closer, the Amrap’s eyes widened and she pointed a finger at Odeta, “Sister Odeta?!”

Odeta grinned, “Hail Sister!! I see you know me?”

“Ahahaha! Who around here doesn’t know about Dragonslayer Odeta? Stories about how you subdued the dragon are still being told today!”

Odeta let out a bark of laughter, “Wahahaha! That was so long ago though! Do they still have the dragon’s head hung in the arena?”

“Of course, sister Odeta! Anyway, I heard that you were still in the Lehcarouc Kingdom! When did you return?”

“I’ve come back to visit with my Sister!” She chuckled, gesturing towards me.

The woman who I now know was another Amrap narrowed her eyes at me, “This Meslatar? You made her your Sister?”

“Of course! Didn’t the stories also include the fact that Sister Aster saved me from a dragon as well? She’s the one who taught me how to fight a dragon!”

Err… Correction, Odeta… I saved you and your sister from a Frost Wyvern. That wasn’t a dragon… And in that Dungeon that we went to, those dragons we fought were infant dragons so they don’t count… Especially since I believe you killed an actual adult dragon.”

The other Amrap gasped, “Ohhh!! That’s the Sister Aster you were talking about? Hmm… No offense but… I thought she would be bigger!”

“Wahahaha! She is pretty big in other areas! I can attest to that!”

Odeta! I never knew you could be so lewd!

“She has way bigger mana capacity than I do! And she also commands a bigger list of spells! Way more than anybody I’ve seen before!”

Oh… So that’s what you mean… I thought that she was going to say–

“And she has a big dick and boobs too!! Wahahahaha!”

I am going to spank you later, Odeta…

Also, now that I had a good look at her, she was basically dressed just like how Odeta would dress in the past. There was a simple cloth top covering her chest and what I would consider hotpants at her waist.

She wasn’t even wearing any shoes and was bare footed.

The other Amrap chuckled, probably thinking it was a joke before she waved at us again, “Anyway, you can go on ahead, Sister Odeta! I’ll just deal with this one over here~”

She then went over to the monster she just killed, busying herself with stripping it for parts and allowing us to continue on our way.

Once we were out of ear shot, I turned to my Amrap lover, “So… I assume that Amraps and Trasifs will patrol along this path to get rid of monsters?”

“Wahaha! That’s right Sister Aster!”

“Would she be alright alone? I would have expected them to at least patrol in a group…”

“It’s fine! The monsters here aren’t that big of a threat! In fact, it’s seen as a fun sport for us to hunt them! The real challenge is in the Dungeons!”

So there’s Dungeons here that Odeta would deem as a challenge to dive in? I kind of want to try them… But more importantly…

“You say so but… Wasn’t there a dragon attack anyway? You’re not telling me that’s not dangerous are you?”

“Wahaha! That’s just a one time thing, Sister Aster! The fact that a dragon showed up is already pretty weird! And everyone would want to have the honour of killing one as well! Or at the very least the claim that they have fought one and lived! So it wouldn’t be a problem if another one showed up!”

I guess…

There’s the fact that Odeta said the dragon was already not at full strength since it was running away from another fight and just so happened to attack the village that Odeta was in. Then Odeta went in to finish it off which then gave her the dragonslayer title.

“How long before we reach the village?” I asked.

Odeta hummed, “Hmm… Last time I was here… It took about four days but that was also because we were out hunting and took detours… I think if we were to just head directly towards the village, we should be there in about a day or so.”

“Eh? It takes a day? Then what about the patrols that are sent out here? They would have to camp outside, wouldn’t they?”

“Oh! There’s an Outpost about half a day’s travel from here! We can rest there for the night, Sister Aster!”

I suppose that beats camping out by the side of the road.

We continued down the path and along the way, we came across a few corpses of slain monsters which I suspect was the handiwork of the Amrap we had met earlier since she did say she cleared the road ahead of us earlier.

I could tell that Odeta actually looked a little disappointed, clearly hoping that we would get to fight something on the way.

Well… She somewhat got her wish as a goblin ended up running out of the forest along the way but as soon as it saw us, it tried to turn and escape from the obviously superior group.

Odeta didn’t even give it a chance for it to step off the road as she leapt towards it and smashed the goblin into literal pieces with a single punch before turning to me to give me a proud look.

She still looked cute so I gave her a head pat.

As she said, it took half a day of walking and the forest was just starting to get dark when we saw the light from a campfire up ahead.

The outpost turned out to just be a clearing where a few simple buildings were built with a waist high wall encircling the entire clearing.

There wasn’t anyone watching the entrance but there were definitely sounds of conversations and what seemed to be rambunctious partying going on within that outpost.

I guess… Time for me to meet the locals here?
