I turned to look at the prime minister that was still prostrated on the floor, “You’re an Off-Worlder right? Are you really alright with this?”
He answered almost immediately, “Yes! This is my purpose, Lady Aster! To be useful to you!”
I pointed at myself, “Useful to me? Why? Like… Why would you be so concerned about being useful to me?”
“Be… Be… Because…”
“It’s obviously because he really admires you, Boss~” Emilia giggled, hugging me even closer. “Although I guess a more accurate reason is because he is indirectly indebted to you since it was our company who sponsored him and you’re technically the owner~”
Ah… I guess that’s why he is so respectful since we’re literally the ones paying him I suppose?
Is this what it feels like to be a sponsor for a politician? Because I suddenly feel like I have the entire city in my hands right now.
I cleared my throat, “Ahem… So… Should I ask why you even sponsored an Off-Worlder to become the prime minister anyway?”
She gave me a cheeky look, “It’s not like I specifically chose him because he’s an Off-Worlder to begin with. I just needed someone who would not betray us and who I can make use of and he just happened to fit the requirements~”
“Ok… And why do you need someone like that as the prime minister?”
“Oh Aster~ Don’t you know how much easier it is to do business when you have someone high up in the government that is on your side? How else do you think I got the approval to build a literal castle as an inn? If it was anyone else, they would have seen this as disrespect to the Royal Family and shut down the business before it even began~”
“Right… And Masuyama here helped with smoothening out any dissents?”

“So what are we planning to do with those corrupt bastards?” I asked.
The atmosphere around Emilia immediately changed as she scowled upon the mention of them.
“If Boss leaves it to me… I’ll have them all executed… And their families stripped of their ranks, their properties and Creas seized, before they are exiled from this place.”
I blinked at her, “That’s a little harsh, don’t you think? I mean… I wouldn’t complain about them getting executed but involving their family as well?”
“Their families were built up from all that corruption they took part in and I’m very sure some of them even encouraged or abetted them in doing this. So they should just be glad that they aren’t executed alongside these pieces of trash as well.”
“Well… What about those who didn’t know that this was happening?”
“Doesn’t matter, they also benefited from the corruption so they do not deserve what they received from these pieces of trash as well.”
Ouch… That’s really harsh…
She then tilted her head, “Or does Aster think that executing these wastes of society is too good of a fate for them? Should we just enslave them? They did enslave several girls after falsely convicting them of crimes they didn’t commit so it would be karmic justice for them to be made slaves.”
I scratched my cheek, “Well… I dunno. I guess that might be good enough I suppose?”
“Oh come on! Really? After what they did? That’s not enough!!” Another voice suddenly shouted.
I looked around me, only to realise that it wasn’t Emilia or Masuyama who shouted that out loud and there was no one else in the room with us.
Wait… That voice…
“Hiandoca?” I muttered.
“Who else could this sexy voice belong to?” The Goddess cried out.
Emilia tilted her head at me, “Is something wrong Boss? Why did you suddenly bring up Goddess Hiandoca’s name?”
I turned to her, “You couldn’t hear that?”
“Hear what?”
“Ah… I guess it’s nothing… Hiandoca is just speaking to me right now… Err… What do you want, Hiandoca?”
“What do I want? Those mortals dared to try and rape you! Not that they could since you’ve been blessed by me anyway and if they even tried, they wouldn’t be able to… But for the sin of doing that, just enslaving them is not enough! Go to them! I will handle their judgement myself!”
I shuddered, “Err… Isn’t that a little overkill? It’s not like they even succeeded…”
“The fact they even tried is criminal enough!! They dared harbour such thoughts to my Aster?! These mortals are not even worthy of breathing the same air as you!! Go! I will pass my judgement on them!!”
I made a face before turning back to Emilia, “Well… Errr… Hiandoca said that she would like to pass judgement on them herself… She wants me to head there right now…”
Unexpectedly, Emilia clapped her hands together, “Oh! As expected of Boss! That’s an even better idea! Let’s head there right now!!”
Wait, really? I thought she would say something like this being a bad idea to involve that pervert Goddess but… I guess we might as well go and see what she has in mind…
Masuyama straightened himself after Emilia shouted at him again and he started leading us towards the courtyard where he had ordered everyone to gather.
I think at least half an hour had passed by now so I’m pretty sure not only is everyone there, they might have even been forced to wait there for at least a good twenty minutes with no sign of Masuyama showing up.
I most definitely do not feel bad for them considering why they were even there to begin with. In fact, I actually considered the possibility of just leaving them and seeing how long they would just stay there for before they figured that we weren’t going to show up.
But since Hiandoca wanted to personally deal with them… I guess that wasn’t an option.
We reached the courtyard and we found at least a hundred men gathered in an open square in the middle of the building.
All of them were standing at attention, or at least trying to in the case of the men with the missing limbs.
The captain was ’standing’ in front of the group, somehow managing to balance himself upright despite the fact that he had neither arms nor legs at the moment.
The moment they saw Masuyama enter the courtyard, the captain quickly let out a shout, “Attention!! Salute!!”
The ones who still had arms quickly saluted while the ones that don’t just did their best to stand as straight as possible.
Masuyama led the way to the centre of the courtyard in front of the captain where I realised that Emilia was no longer following behind me.
Instead, she had stopped just outside the courtyard and was watching us from there.
I guess she doesn’t want to show her face to these people since she was technically an uninvolved party.
Either that or she didn’t want to get involved with whatever Hiandoca was planning but still wanted to watch what the goddess was trying to do.
Unlike earlier where Masuyama had thrown out his dignity and was grovelling pathetically, he now stood straight up with an imposing aura of a leader around him.
If I saw him like this the first time, I would have definitely thought he was some really important person.
He stared at the group gathered in front of him before growling at them, “It has come to my attention… That there are a number of you here who think that this authority that I have granted to you is for you to abuse. This system I set up was meant to protect and serve yet you lot have perverted it and made this police force into an absolute disgrace! What do you have to say for yourselves?!”
Oh damn, he knows how to talk well too.
None of the men in front spoke of course, all of them knew they were absolutely screwed at this point.
“Nothing to say huh… Very well then… Lady Aster?”
Oh right. Err… Hiandoca? Whatever you want to do… I guess now’s the time?
All of a sudden, a giant magic circle that enveloped the entire courtyard lit up before a pink cloud exploded out from within, covering the entire group of men in it.
What the… What’s going on?
The cloud only stayed for a moment before dispersing and all of the men who had their limbs cut off by me were healed back to normal. Even the captain had all his limbs back.
