Chapter 178: Tyler vs The Blood God Part 5

When Tyler saw this, dozens of thoughts ran through his mind at once, almost overwhelming him from thinking.

But in less than a second, he decided to throw hands.

No swordsman, just hands!

Tyler turned around and rushed in front of the Blood God as he was recovering, landing a solid right hook into his fist.

The impact of his punch made the Blood God cough out some blood. Even though it was just a punch, it was powerful.

Tyler didn’t stop there. He opened his right fist, grabbing onto the Blood God’s forearm before pulling him close.

Then, he raised his left leg and kicked him on the stomach with his knee.

This made his body arc and cough more blood from his mouth.

"Damn you!"

The Blood God roared in anger, releasing an immense force of energy. Although it was strong, it wasn’t enough to blow Tyler away.

Instead, Tyler withstood that impact and landed two consecutive punches on his stomach before kicking him into the air by kicking his chin.

Tyler didn’t stop there.

He jumped and elbowed the Blood God into the ground, slamming him so hard against the ground that his back almost shattered.

’No, that plan will not work. I need another plan.’

Tyler thought to himself while he grabbed the Blood God by his legs and smashed him left and right.

’If he is immortal, I need to kill him with a single blow. The more mana I refine, the less chances I will have of defeating him.’

’So, this battle has to end fast. That plan won’t work.’

Tyler thought as he blocked a direct blood spear into the head using his palm that was coated in yin energy armor.

"You are not using your swordsmanship? Are you afraid?"

The Blood God quickly turned the blood spear into several blood fists and attacked Tyler in different body parts.

Although Tyler was attacked heavily, he managed to block some while getting hit by others.

Just like how Tyler didn’t give him time to react before, the Blood God was also not planning to give him any chances to react.

Of course, that didn’t matter because Tyler quickly converged his True Dragon Flame into his right fist before throwing a punch.

[Fire Fist]

His fist released a blazing wave of red-hot flame that took the shape of a fist and chased towards the Blood God.

[Ice Wall]

The Blood God quickly reacted, forming a gigantic ice wall between them, realizing he had just lost a chance to dominate Tyler.

’This kid is weird. His fighting style can change drastically, and he has a lot of ideas for using his powers.’

’Even though he has not comprehended the power of law very much. This means he shouldn’t have a lot of experience or knowledge.’

’It feels like he is imitating something, but I have seen or heard of an armor like that.’

’No wait, there are some. The Golden Buddha Avatar of the Buddhist School and Heaven and Earth Incarnation of Fighting Monkey Race."

’Did he also get these ideas from them? But it feels like he hasn’t even left this realm.’

While the Blood God was busy thinking about that, Tyler quickly made his way to the Blood God.

He chose the underground path. He literally coated his body with mana and Sword Intent and dug his way to the Blood God.

Just then, the Blood God felt the tremor. Because Tyler had used his Sword Intent coating, even the Dimensional God couldn’t feel his presence.

Because Invincibility belonged to Heaven and Heaven was everywhere.

When he appeared behind the Blood God, the Blood God was quite surprised.

Tyler punched his head with so much force that his body was smashed into the ice wall, breaking the entire wall into ice chunks.

"This ability of yours is really annoying."

The Blood God roared and released an immense wave of blood energy that shot towards Tyler like a nuke, even engulfing himself in that explosion.

This kind of explosion was deadly for Tyler, but he could also dodge it using his Hiding in the Void ability.

That’s exactly what he did.

While inside the void, he waited until the shockwave and flames died down before coming out.

But the moment he came out, he was greeted with three laser-focused drops of blood.

These were so fast that Tyler wouldn’t be able to dodge them without getting hit by one of them.

So, Tyler summoned a large amount of crystallized yin mana in front of him to form a large wall.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Those blood drops collided with the wall. The impact shook the wall until the third drop of blood completely destroyed it.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Another two drops of blood came from that gap, reaching Tyler and hitting him on the chest and the forearm.

Although the dragon scales soaked up some damage, the blood drops still penetrated deep into his skin.

Fortunately, he could use yang mana to heal these wounds.

Unfortunately, the Blood God wasn’t going to give him any chance to react.

These blood drops were quite fast, and the Blood God was shooting more and more of these towards Tyler.

Each drop was faster than several times the speed of sound, making it impossible to dodge it without hiding in the void.

The problem with hiding in the void was that Tyler didn’t want to use this ability so often in front of the Blood God.

Originally, Tyler thought he was just getting summoned into the space outside the universe where he could only survive thanks to his Void Mana.

But after awakening the spiritual sense, he found that the void was small.

That couldn’t be possible since the void was supposed to be infinite or at least several times bigger than the universe itself.

The void was differentiated from Space because it existed outside the universe, while space was a three-dimensional existence.

Space and Void were very similar, but they also had major differences.

Space could hold anything as long as it fell into the three-dimensional rules. The void, however, existed separate from three dimensions.

This was because Void could literally suppress the space, but the space wasn’t alone.

Space was often accompanied by time, a fourth-dimensional Law that existed within the universe.

Void was also the fourth-dimensional law, so it couldn’t be affected by the Law of Time.

That’s why those who chose to become a Dimensional God leave the universe.

As long as they leave the universe, they could use the Spatial Law to forge their own dimension in the void and merge with the dimension.

During the merging process, they came directly under the Void.

Since the Void was equal to the Time Law, they couldn’t be affected by it. But this also became their curse.

Void was above space, but it was also separate from it. Time, despite being above space, was intertwined with it.

This allowed time and space to encompass the universe and its different laws and energies.

But the void was by itself. This separate law didn’t have anything to nurture, nor could it.

And since the dimensions of those Dimensional Gods were connected to the void, they would also have no resources, no laws, nothing to get stronger.

Thus, by becoming the Dimensional God, they effectively cut off their own promotion.

Tyler wasn’t a Dimensional God.

He didn’t merge with the Dimension, but when using the hiding in the void ability, he was using the void mana to send himself to that dimension.

Of course, that was happening all the time, but Tyler couldn’t realize that since his body was basically entering a space where nothing existed.

He couldn’t sense anything; he couldn’t feel anything, so it was normal for him not to realize the situation.

But after he awakened the spiritual sense, he utilized it to check his situation while hiding in the void and realized that it was a space.

It was similar to Daisy’s Ice Dimension, but it was more flexible.

Unlike Daisy, he could put his entire body or just parts of his body into the void while staying in this space.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t teleport like Daisy. Of course, with his current situation, he could do this as long as he could remember the spatial nodes.

They were the crucial parts of his teleportation since he could come out of any node as long as he knew its location.

Because the void exists outside the universe, he only needed to locate that node and come out of it.

This wouldn’t be easy, especially remembering the spatial node was the same as remembering the XY graph of the world.

But just because he couldn’t do that didn’t mean the Dimensional God couldn’t.

If he found the location of his Dimension through this ability, he could very much locate him and forcefully enter his dimension.

After all, the Dimensional Gods had basically merged with the Void.

The reason why they didn’t invade each other was that they couldn’t defeat each other.

Tyler was not them.
