Wasteland: I Awakened A Plant System

Chapter 393: Reason Of Exile

A Week Later.

After several hours of traveling, the forest gradually became denser.

The towering trees blocked most of the sunlight, leaving only scattered rays shining through the canopy. The cheerful atmosphere from earlier slowly faded away.

Vikram’s expression became serious as he carefully observed his surroundings.

"This forest..." he muttered. "It feels different."

Kara nodded. "We’re getting close to the Mist Pack’s territory. The closer we get, the stronger the scent of werewolves becomes."

Carol suddenly stopped walking. "Wait."

Her usual playful expression disappeared as she looked toward the bushes ahead. "You two... do you hear that?"

The three immediately fell silent.

Rustle... Rustle...

The sound of something moving through the undergrowth echoed from several directions.

Vikram’s eyes narrowed. "It’s not the wind."

Kara slowly moved in front of Vikram, instinctively shielding him. Carol crouched slightly, her sharp eyes scanning the surrounding trees.

A few seconds later, several gray-furred werewolves emerged from the forest. Standing over seven feet tall, they had muscular humanoid bodies covered in thick gray fur, with wolf-like heads, glowing eyes, sharp fangs, and razor-sharp claws. They didn’t attack. Instead, they cautiously surrounded the three of them.

Vikram recognized the emblem engraved on the leather armor worn by their leader.

The Mist Pack.

The leader’s eyes widened in disbelief. "...Young Master Vikram?"

The other werewolves also froze.

"It really is Young Master!"

"But... wasn’t he..."

The group exchanged uncertain glances. They had all heard that Vikram had left the pack after his dispute with the Mist King. None of them had expected to see him return.

Vikram looked at the familiar faces before giving a slight nod. "It’s been a while."

The patrol leader hesitated before speaking. "Young Master... are you..."

He paused for a moment. "...returning home?"

For a brief instant, Vikram remained silent. Then, with a calm expression, he answered,

"Yes. I’m going home."

The patrol members looked at one another. Their expressions became complicated.

Finally, the leader stepped aside and lowered his head respectfully. "Then... Please follow us. We’ll escort you back to the Mist Pack."

As soon as the tension faded, the werewolves released their beast forms. Gray fur rapidly receded into their bodies, elongated muzzles shortened, claws retracted, and within moments, they had transformed into human forms. Only their leather armor bearing the Mist Pack emblem remained unchanged.

Without another word, Vikram nodded and followed them deeper into the forest.

---

While Vikram was heading back toward Mist Territory, he learned the reason behind his exile from the combat guards.

Some time before his banishment, the Sand Wolf King’s two daughters had come to visit the Mist Wolf Pack as honored guests. Their visit was meant to strengthen the relationship between the two packs.

When Vikram’s previous self saw them, he openly proposed that they become his wives.

The elder daughter, Evelyn Xavier, regarded the proposal as unusual but was willing to consider it, believing it would make the ties between the two packs even stronger.

The younger daughter, Liora Xavier, rejected him without hesitation.

Hearing this, Vikram became immediately angry. How dared this girl reject him when he was an Alpha?

This arrogance had roots in events from long before. Vikram had insisted on marrying Kara and Carol despite the Mist King’s strong objections. The Mist King had initially opposed the union because they were Vikram’s aunts. But Vikram refused to back down.

Eventually, the Mist King reluctantly accepted the decision to preserve peace within the pack. In the end, Vikram successfully married both of his aunts.

After that, he became far more arrogant and started believing that no one could oppose him as the future Alpha.

When the younger daughter rejected his proposal, it felt like a direct challenge to his authority. Consumed by anger, Vikram publicly declared that once he became Alpha, he would subdue the Sand Wolf Pack and force them to acknowledge his authority.

Rather than being intimidated, Liora Xavier mocked his arrogance in front of the gathered Mist Territory people, which wounded his ego even further.

---

That Night

Unable to quell the burning anger inside him, Vikram quietly slipped out of his room under the cover of darkness and made his way toward the guest residence where the Sand Wolf King’s daughters were staying.

Evelyn had already accepted his marriage proposal earlier that day. When he entered the spacious wooden chamber, she was not surprised to see him. She simply offered a calm, knowing smile.

The three of them spoke for a while. Evelyn tried to steer the conversation toward lighter topics, sharing stories about life in the Sand Wolf Pack and her own training as a warrior diplomat. She spoke warmly, hoping to build a genuine connection. However, Liora kept interrupting with sharp, mocking remarks aimed at Vikram.

"You really think you can just claim whoever you want?" Liora sneered, arms crossed. "How typical of a spoiled future Alpha."

"Liora, enough," Evelyn said gently, placing a hand on her sister’s shoulder. "We are guests here. There’s no need to provoke him."

But Liora refused to back down, her words growing bolder. "What will you do if I keep refusing, hmm? Throw a tantrum like a child?"

Her continuous mockery finally pushed Vikram over the edge. His eyes flashed with fury as he transformed. Bones cracked and shifted, silver fur rapidly covered his powerful body. In moments, he stood as a towering, majestic silver werewolf, muscles rippling under the moonlight filtering through the windows.

With a low growl, he lunged forward, picked Liora up with ease, and threw her onto the large bed.

Liora’s eyes widened in shock, but she reacted instantly. She transformed as well, her body shifting into a fierce maroon-colored werewolf. She jumped back, snarling, and tried to sink her fangs into Vikram’s neck.

Vikram dodged the attack with practiced speed, grabbed her, and pinned her down onto the bed, climbing over her. Their transformation had torn their clothes apart, leaving the shredded fabric scattered across the floor.

Even while pinned, Liora didn’t hesitate. She lunged again and bit down hard on his mouth. Vikram didn’t pull away. Instead, he opened his jaws and met her bite directly. What should have been painful felt strangely intimate, like a rough, primal kiss.

At the same moment, he used his strong hands to spread her legs and positioned himself. With one powerful thrust, he entered her.

Liora let out a muffled growl of pain, still trying to bite his mouth, neck, and ears while her claws scratched furiously down his back. But Vikram showed no reaction to the pain. He continued mating with her steadily, his silver body dominating her maroon one. His hands played with her sensitive ears and tail as he took her, deep and relentless.

Evelyn watched everything from the side of the room, making no move to interfere.

Eventually, Liora’s struggles weakened. She grew tired, her bites becoming softer, and a faint blush appeared even through her maroon fur. In werewolf custom, it was natural for an Alpha to assert dominance, especially over a proud female. Since Vikram had so easily overpowered her, Liora finally stopped resisting and let him do as he wished.

---

After nearly an hour, Vikram left Liora lying exhausted on the bed and turned to Evelyn.

"Transform," he commanded.

Evelyn nodded without resistance. She shifted into her werewolf form, also maroon, but slightly taller and more filled out than her younger sister. She looked more mature and strikingly beautiful, with elegant silver streaks in her fur.

Vikram let out a powerful howl —"Awoooo!"— and pounced. He pulled her onto the same bed, right beside Liora. Their bodies entwined fiercely as he claimed her virginity as well. Liora, still catching her breath, watched her older sister submit completely.

At times, she even cheered with her own howls, "Awooo!" while Vikram teased her between thrusts.

Evelyn didn’t resist him for even a moment, accepting him fully.

---

By the time dawn approached, the three of them had formed a bond recognized by werewolf customs as that of husband and wives.

When Vikram finally stepped outside, his anger had calmed considerably, replaced by a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness.

Before leaving, he looked back at Liora and declared firmly, "You belong to me now."

Liora, still flushed and tired, did not deny his words. She simply lowered her gaze and nodded, but he didn’t know, she was only pretending.

---

The Following Morning

The entire Mist Pack was thrown into an uproar by sunrise. News of Vikram’s actions with the Sand Werewolf King’s daughters had spread like wildfire through the settlement. Warriors whispered in clusters, elders shook their heads in disapproval, and young pack members watched with a mix of shock and curiosity.

When the Mist King learned the full details, his face darkened with barely contained fury. Without a word, he summoned Vikram to appear before the entire pack in the central gathering ground.

The atmosphere was deathly silent as Vikram stood in the middle of the clearing. Hundreds of eyes were fixed on him. Everyone, including the King and the guests, remained in their human forms.

The Mist King, seated on the raised stone platform, looked at his grandson with a mixture of deep disappointment and burning anger.

"You’ve disgraced not only yourself, but the entire Mist Pack!" His powerful voice echoed across the gathering. "If you wished to take another mate, there were countless suitable women within our own pack. Why did you have to involve the Sand Pack? And even if you wanted them, you should have sought their agreement first. You should have come to me and spoken with their father instead of forcefully mating with them like a wild beast!"

Vikram stepped forward and replied calmly, "Evelyn agreed to it."

The Mist King’s eyes narrowed. "And what about Liora?"

Vikram answered without hesitation, "I have tamed her as well."

Hearing this, the Mist King’s fury exploded. Before Vikram could say another word, the King stood up and descended the platform. In front of the entire assembled pack, he began publicly punishing his grandson.

The first strike was a heavy backhanded slap that snapped Vikram’s head to the side. Then came a powerful punch to the stomach, followed by another blow across the face. The King did not hold back his strength.

Each strike landed with the full weight of an Alpha’s authority, cracking sounds echoing as fists met flesh. He grabbed Vikram by the hair, forcing him to his knees before delivering a brutal kick to the ribs. Blood trickled from Vikram’s lip, but the King continued, striking him again and again in a calculated display of dominance and discipline. The punishment was slow, deliberate, and humiliating, meant to break the young man’s pride in front of everyone.

Each blow felt heavier than the last. Yet for Vikram, the physical pain was secondary. What truly hurt was the humiliation. His image as a future Alpha was shattering before the eyes of the entire pack.

As he endured the beating, his gaze accidentally met Liora’s. She stood among the guests with her sister. The younger woman’s lips curved into a clear, mocking smile, her eyes filled with satisfaction at seeing him brought low.

That single expression ignited the buried anger inside him like dry tinder.

Vikram’s eyes turned bloodshot. Reason completely abandoned him as rage took over.

"So this is how you all see me?" he laughed bitterly, spitting blood onto the ground.

"Fine!"

"If this pack no longer has a place for me... then I don’t need this pack either!"

He pointed directly at the Mist King, his voice shaking with fury.

"I’ll leave! I’ll build my own pack! And one day, I’ll return standing above every single one of you!"

Without waiting for anyone to respond or stop him, Vikram turned around and walked away from the gathering ground with heavy, determined steps.

The Mist King stood frozen for a moment, shocked by his grandson’s declaration. He made no move to stop him, believing the young man needed a harsh lesson. Soon enough, he would grow tired of the outside world and crawl back. Still, the King felt a flicker of worry. Kara and Carol had been sent out the previous day to clear a group of zombies in the surrounding area. They were not present in the pack, and he dreaded how they would react once they returned to find Vikram gone.
