After his rapidly increasing Physique stabilized, Vikram drove with Phanty, Watery, and Fiery toward Lilith’s Crimson Desire Shelter.

As for Divya, Luna, Sophia, Anjali, and his other subordinates, he arranged for them to hunt insects around the territory to obtain more insect nuclei. After all, it was a newly discovered material for enhancing Physique, the sooner it was absorbed, the better.

"Big Boss Vikram, you’re here~"

As soon as Vikram got out of the car, before the door was even fully closed, Lilith had already come to greet him personally. Her eyes sparkled with clear affection as she looked at him.

"Oh?" Lilith covered her mouth and teased, "Naughty boy, you didn’t bring the two little beauties again this time. Did you deliberately send them away because you knew you were coming to see me?"

Her playful tone and the way she leaned slightly closer made several nearby Crimson Desire Shelter members look at Vikram with a mix of disbelief and envy. However, since their boss was present, they didn’t dare say anything.

The sour, jealous gazes in the air were almost palpable.

Vikram chuckled and openly wrapped an arm around Lilith’s waist, pulling her closer in front of everyone. "What? Jealous? I thought my big sister preferred having me all to herself."

Lilith’s cheeks flushed slightly, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she leaned into his touch with a seductive smile. "Hmph, you really know how to bully your big sister. But yes... I do prefer having you all to myself."

"Oh! Quite a few new faces," Vikram remarked, ignoring the stunned looks around them. He pointed at a few survivors who had been glaring at him with hostility. "Weren’t these here last time? Has Crimson Desire Shelter expanded again? Congratulations!"

Lilith showed a triumphant smile. "These are all from White Fox Shelter. I’ve already turned them."

Vikram raised an eyebrow, not expecting Lilith to act so quickly. It had only been a few days since the White Fox Shelter caused trouble, and she was already retaliating.

"Lilith isn’t afraid of raising a tiger that will turn on her?" Vikram asked, saying this openly in front of the several White Fox Shelter members, seemingly unconcerned about provoking them.

"Hehe, is this naughty boy worrying about me?" Lilith teased, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Then thank you, little brother. I, the Director of Crimson Desire Shelter, may not be the most powerful, but I have my own ways of managing my subordinates."

Vikram noticed that after Lilith finished speaking, all her subordinates behind her were breaking out in cold sweat.

’This woman...’

Despite their close relationship, Vikram had never underestimated Lilith. She was far more capable than she let on. Since she clearly knew what she was doing, there was no need for him to interfere in her work.

He exchanged pleasantries with her for a while longer.

Upon learning that she mainly relied on a moat and some insect-repelling plants to defend against the insect plague, Vikram showed a look of understanding. "Next time I come, I’ll help you upgrade the shelter’s defenses properly."

Lilith’s eyes lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, Vikram. I’ll be waiting for you."

Because Vikram knew he had stocked many plants that survivors on the market claimed had insect-repelling effects. However, this was merely a temporary solution and not a fundamental cure. If they only relied on these plants, future troubles would only grow bigger.

Didn’t they see the insect tide coming every night? The day these insects no longer heeded the repellent plants would be the death knell for these shelters.

He was then invited by Lilith into her private quarters.

As soon as the door to her private quarters closed, Vikram pulled Lilith into his arms and kissed her deeply. His hands roamed over her body with familiar hunger, quickly undressing her.

"Vikram... ahh~" Lilith moaned softly as he entered her, her legs wrapping around his waist. "You’re so impatient today..."

Vikram thrust deeply, his voice low and teasing near her ear. "I’ve been thinking about you the whole way here."

Their passionate union grew more intense. Lilith’s sweet moans filled the room as she clung to him. "Vikram... Vikram~ Harder... ahh!"

He took her with strong, rhythmic movements, bringing her to peak after peak until she was trembling and gasping his name breathlessly.

---

At nine in the morning, after being thoroughly nourished by Vikram the entire night, Lilith led a team of subordinates and gathered with him outside the shelter.

The purpose of this trip was, of course, to accept the official invitation and explore the Legendary-level resource point. She actually didn’t want to join in the excitement. Her last encounter with a Legendary Zombie had already taught her a sufficient lesson. Lilith, deeply aware of the terrifying power of Legendary-level beings, knew that with their current strength, the risk was still very high.

However, upon hearing from the official people that the White Fox Shelter also planned to go, she had no choice but to participate. After all, the three parties were almost equal in strength, if two of them allied, the isolated faction would definitely be the first to die.

Vikram was surprised to see that the same group of people who had come to gather were still there.

"These subordinates you just abducted from White Fox Shelter, aren’t you afraid they’ll betray you on the spot?"

"Hehe, given Jade’s character, even if these survivors had a change of heart, he wouldn’t accept them. Going back would be a dead end. I’m bringing these people simply because I don’t want to waste too many of my truly loyal subordinates."

Vikram paused slightly, then suddenly pulled Lilith close and gave her rounded backside a firm, loud slap.

Smack!

"So you called me here not to protect your subordinates, but to protect you, Lilith?" he asked, his voice low and slightly dominating as his hand remained on her hip, squeezing possessively.

Lilith had asked Vikram in their communication to protect her subordinates. Now that she was exposed, a hint of awkwardness appeared on her face.

"Big Boss Vikram, I did indeed deceive you," Lilith tried to explain, but Vikram cut her off by slapping her backside again, harder this time.

Smack! "If you need my help, you can directly say so. Why try to play politics with me?" he said firmly, his hand still resting on her curves.

Lilith blushed deeply and nodded obediently. "I’m sorry... Next time I’ll tell you directly."

Vikram gave her backside another possessive squeeze, making her hips jiggle slightly. "Good. Or else next time I’ll fuck you so much that you won’t be able to walk properly for a few days."

Lilith was a little shocked to see this dominant side of Vikram, but she nodded while subtly rubbing her backside against his hand to please him.

Seeing their new members looking jealous and shocked, yet unable to do anything except glare angrily at Vikram, he smirked and gave Lilith’s hip another firm slap in front of them, making her soft flesh jiggle noticeably.

Lilith blushed furiously and cursed him in her mind, Naughty brat! But deep down, she didn’t mind anything he was doing with her.

Even though Lilith was extremely annoyed by Vikram’s continuous poking and slapping her backside, she chose to forgive him upon seeing his heavily modified vehicle. She got into the car with a soft huff.

During the journey, the speed of the vehicle, its interior equipment, and overall comfort level made Lilith exclaim in admiration. Even though she didn’t ask Vikram how he managed it, she couldn’t help but feel a renewed sense of curiosity about him.

At ten o’clock in the morning, Vikram and Lilith’s convoy arrived at the Legendary-level resource point on time.

Although they weren’t late, when they got out of the vehicle, a large group of survivors had already gathered there. By estimation, there were four to five hundred of them.

"So many people?" Vikram asked.

"Yes. This time the news was released directly by the Official Shelter in the regional channel," Lilith explained. "It was also released several days in advance. I estimate that if it weren’t for the insect plague making a large number of survivors unable to protect themselves, this number would have increased even further."

After Lilith finished explaining, she suddenly realized something was wrong. She turned her head, but Vikram was nowhere to be seen beside her.

Slightly stunned, she knew he hadn’t left but had merely blended into the crowd. Lilith led her subordinates into the throng.

At this moment, not only Vikram, but Watery and Fiery had also merged into the crowd, while Phantom had simply disappeared. Vikram’s gaze was fixed in the direction of the Crimson Desire Shelter.

As one of the top shelters in the region, no one dared to block Crimson Desire Shelter’s team. Soon, as a group of survivors made their way, they arrived at the very front.

"Hahaha, Director Lilith, it’s been a long time indeed."

"We’ve been waiting for you for half a day. If you hadn’t come, I would have thought you were dealt with by zombies and disgusting insects along the way."

The speaker was Jade. As the leader of the White Fox Shelter, which was at odds with Crimson Desire Shelter, he didn’t give the late-arriving Lilith a good look, immediately issuing a strong warning.

"Heh heh, there’s no need for Director Jade to worry about that. My new subordinates are quite formidable. These few zombies and insects outside won’t trouble them. Don’t you agree?"

Lilith glanced at the subordinates she had taken from the White Fox Shelter, then looked triumphantly at Jade.

Jade, who already had a bad temper and was unpredictable, saw that some of his subordinates had betrayed him. His face instantly darkened. He looked as if he was ready to make a move at any moment.

As the atmosphere grew tense, the Official Survivors, who had been waiting for a long time, descended from a large truck nearby.

Abhi, who was leading them, separated the two and said many conciliatory words, which finally stopped the dispute between the two parties.

While he appeared to be a peacemaker, in reality, Abhi secretly wished they would argue as fiercely as possible.

It would be best if they fought to the death after jointly dealing with the Legendary-level creature inside, then all the Legendary-level treasures would be his.

Of course, he couldn’t show this. He still had to maintain the positive image of the Official Shelter.

It would be much easier to rally people for his own use later.

After ten minutes of meaningless talk in the crowd, Abhi, with his right arm and hand, waved, announcing the start of the resource point exploration.

"Whoosh!"

The crowd responded in unison, following the Official Shelter’s footsteps into the resource point.

"This Abhi, he has quite a beautiful dream, letting others be cannon fodder for him, but he hasn’t considered whether they can stop the Legendary-level creature with just this cannon fodder."

Vikram muttered softly, then followed at the very end of the team.

Described as a supermarket, this resource point was more like a superstore.

A group of people filed in, and surprisingly, there was no situation where they couldn’t find a place to stand.

The two floors of this resource point were actually buried deep underground, so what appeared to be the first floor they entered was actually the third floor.

The three major factions leading the team immediately became extremely vigilant upon entering the resource point.

However, the expected Legendary-level surprise attack did not come. Instead, there were only one or two scattered Mutated Zombies and insects wandering around.

These zombies, let alone for the top factions, even if all these Survivors with varying strengths went together, they could be dealt with.

So, in less than two moves, this floor, which consisted of dining establishments, a fitness area, and a children’s playground, was cleared.
