Chapter 738: Inside Information, City Deployment? Changing the Battle Plan

"Detected a large number of enemy vehicles..."

"Detected traces of a large number of aircraft..."

On the backside of Gugu Ga Mountain Range.

Warning alarms rang out incessantly beside Alpha's ears.

On the monitoring screens, hundreds of differently sized light dots on the virtual map of Gugu Ga Mountain Range rapidly approached the two tunnels that could cross the mountain range.

And in the sky above, hundreds of aircraft appeared, crossing over the mountain range and flying toward Green Forest City.

Alpha watched the light dots rapidly closing in on the screen, a contemplative look flashing through his eyes.

But very quickly, only sharpness remained in his gaze.

"No matter what their goal is, as long as it's something the enemy wants to do, it's something we must stop!"

He immediately began issuing orders:

"Squads 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, head to Longyan Mouth Tunnel to intercept."

"Squads 6, 7, 8, and 9, head to Tanyuan Tunnel to intercept."

"Drone launch vehicles, deploy drones and form a drone matrix. Conduct navigation signal spoofing and radio frequency jamming against enemy aircraft."

"Missile launch vehicles, enter launch deployment status and await orders."

Command after command was precisely transmitted to the combat troops.

The Mechanical Armored Vehicles each drove toward their own combat positions.

Yu Yuan also quickly received the frontline battle report. He looked at the latest developments, and for a moment, he too could not figure out the other side's purpose.

But it was obvious the other side would not do anything meaningless. This deployment would not be as simple as it appeared on the surface.

"What is his goal?"

He pondered for a while, still coming up empty.

Yu Yuan decisively chose to use his cheat.

Opening the Virtual Light Screen, the Book of Fate flipped, and a Bronze-colored card appeared before Yu Yuan.

Use — [Intelligence Card—Inside Information] (Bronze)

Target — Qiming Mobile City's current operational plan

The next moment, [Intelligence Card—Inside Information] disappeared from the Book of Fate.

Inside the Hunter Training Camp command center, a technician's voice suddenly rang out.

"Report, a piece of unfamiliar audio has been detected, labeled [Classified Intelligence]."

Yu Yuan already understood that this was the inside information he wanted. He immediately said:

"Play it!"

"Yes!"

Very quickly, several unfamiliar voices rang out.

—[Hahaha, the enemy this time is pretty strong! The City Lord actually brought out the 'Bounty Incentive' to add buffs for us. We're going to make a fortune this time.]

—[Be careful, this mission is very important. The enemy will definitely intercept us. Wait until the main force draws away the enemy's firepower. Keep your wits about you, and hurry through the defensive line to enter enemy territory and find that damned city.]

—[Don't worry! My squad's infiltration ability is among the best in the entire Federation. Although this time we have to place the 'Deployment Beacon' within a 50-kilometer radius of the enemy city, which is indeed a bit unexpected.]

—[Yeah! In the past we were always directly deployed into the depths of the battlefield, but this time they're making us punch through the enemy's line first and then cross over. Strange!]

—[Why think so much about it! Anyway, as long as the City Lord pays enough bounty, my life is his.]

Then a voice, deliberately lowered and sounding rather mysterious, said:

—[Also, I heard that the reason we're crossing this time is because the Leader is accumulating deployment energy.]

—[Accumulating deployment energy? What is the City Lord planning to do?]

—[No idea. Anyway, we'll find out once we finish placing the deployment beacons.]

—[Could that piece of news be true?]

—[What news?]

—[I heard it from someone before, the City Lord developed a new 'City Attribute' that has the effect of long-range teleportation from Qiming City.]

—[Hiss, no way! If that's the case, accumulating deployment energy makes sense. To teleport such a massive city over, the energy needed...]

—[Attention, drones have spotted enemy traces, prepare to cross!]

—[Yes!]

——————————

When the voices stopped, Carmen already wore a shocked expression.

Even Yu Yuan's pupils violently trembled.

"Long-range city teleportation! So that's it, this is your true purpose?"

In an instant, Yu Yuan understood Qiming's plan.

Use mercenaries to draw away the Pioneering Group's firepower and provide cover for those who carried the 'deployment coordinates.'

Those mercenaries carrying the 'deployment coordinates' would take the opportunity to cross the defensive line, search for traces of Green Forest City, and then place the 'deployment coordinates' within a 50-kilometer radius of the city.

Providing coordinate anchors for the 'Qiming Mobile City's' long-range teleportation.

If this plan truly succeeded, all of Yu Yuan's previous arrangements at Gugu Ga Mountain Range would become a joke.

The main forces were still intercepting the enemy at Gugu Ga Mountain Range.

Yet the enemy would teleport directly to Green Forest City and start a home invasion.

Gugu Ga Mountain Range was hundreds of kilometers from Green Forest City. Even if the main forces retreated in time to provide support, that time gap would be more than enough for Qiming to do a great many things.

Those colossal weapons mounted on that giant city were not just for show.

Having figured all this out, a smile appeared at the corner of Yu Yuan's mouth.

"As expected of the Rank 2 player. With these methods and schemes, an ordinary player really would fall for it."

But unfortunately, not to mention that Yu Yuan now already knew their plan.

Even without knowing the plan, at the same moment Qiming Mobile City teleported to Green Forest City.

The Pioneering Group and the main force of the Bloodsucking Werewolf Legion could instantly return to Green Forest City through the [Return Ticket].

However...

An interesting gleam flashed through the depths of Yu Yuan's eyes. He had a rather good idea.

"Since Qiming schemed so painstakingly to teleport over, I can't let him down."

"I can also take the opportunity to prepare a special welcome gift for him."

-

Seeing the enemy about to enter the encirclement, Alpha suddenly received a message from Yu Yuan. After checking it, his expression briefly froze.

But three seconds later, he immediately adjusted the battle plan.

"Attention all combat squads. The battle plan has been temporarily changed. After the enemy enters the encirclement, all attacks are to be fierce first and loose later. Create a battlefield gap and let the enemy complete their infiltration."

"Longyan Mouth Tunnel Squad 3, shift 100 meters left from your current position to Squad 2. Tanyuan Tunnel Squad 7, reduce firepower by 50%..."

"Repeat. Normal combat, fierce first then loose, let the enemy complete infiltration. But infiltration is all they can do. The main force must push them back."

"From now on, 'Plan Thunder Annihilation' is officially changed to 'Plan Closed Door.'"

All squads immediately replied.

"Yes" ×9

Alpha looked toward Hogg.

"You received the Leader's message too, right! Once we let the enemy in, that's when you'll make your move."

Hogg, however, slowly rose to his feet, his gaze fixed deadly on Alpha.

"Plan Closed Door? I'll let them taste the fangs of the Bloodsucking Werewolf clan..."
