Chapter 895: Chapter 894: The One I Like Is Still by My Side

Bella Acker slept all the way to The Azure Isles’ only international airport, Male.

As they got off the plane, Judy Zimmerman was momentarily taken aback upon seeing Damian Sinclair alongside Bella Acker. "President Sinclair, you’re here too?"

"Yeah." Damian responded casually, holding Bella’s hand naturally as they greeted the filming crew and Kingston’s staff.

Judy knew about the relationship between Bella and Damian, so she was only surprised to see him present.

However, the filming crew and Kingston’s staff were genuinely shocked to see him holding Bella’s hand so openly.

Yet, these people were quite adept at masking their surprise, and together they left the airport and boarded the pre-arranged vehicles heading to the reserved beachfront hotel.

Damian naturally rode with Bella, while Judy courageously took the front passenger seat in their car, earning everyone’s admiration for her bravery.

Judy felt a bit helpless.

Once the car arrived at the hotel, Kingston’s staff initially considered issuing President Sinclair a room card, but seeing him follow Bella into the elevator, they wisely held onto it.

A good employee must always comprehend what the boss needs, whether in work or in life.

Bella bid Judy goodnight, entered her room, and after putting down her bag, she turned to the person who followed her in and raised an eyebrow, "President Sinclair, shouldn’t you go back to your own room now?"

"They didn’t book me a room." Damian replied, setting down his laptop bag and loosening his tie, "The long flight was tiring, I should freshen up with a shower. It’s past eleven at night here in The Azure Isles—perfect time for sleep."

Bella was indeed tired, too lazy to bicker with him, she retrieved her pajamas and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Damian took off his overcoat and suit; since the temperature here is much higher than at home—around 28° almost year-round—he changed into a white long-sleeve T-shirt and cotton-linen lounge pants, feeling perfectly comfortable.

While Bella showered, Damian called hotel service to order food, then went to the room’s wine cabinet to retrieve a bottle of red wine, a decanter, and two wine glasses.

When Bella finished her shower and came out, the wine was perfectly aerated and dinner had been delivered.

"Airplane food isn’t good; you should eat something before sleeping." Damian poured a small glass of wine and handed it to her, saying.

Bella didn’t mind, she lightly clinked glasses with him and took a sip of the wine, which tasted quite nice.

Damian also took a sip and said, "You eat first, I’ll take a shower." He then went into the bathroom.

Bella wasn’t very hungry. She glanced toward the bathroom, then took her wine glass to the balcony attached to the hotel room.

Wearing her pajamas, she settled into the wicker lounge chair on the balcony. Facing the sea, a sea breeze blew in, dissipating the warmth from her shower, making her feel very comfortable.

"The temperature here is just right, not too cold or too hot—so comfortable." Bella closed her eyes, enjoying the sea breeze, finally understanding why Kingston Group chose to shoot their promotional MV advertisement here.

With such a beautiful environment and comfortable climate, work feels like a vacation, and having someone you like by your side makes it perfect.
