Chapter 3308: Chapter 3309: Intelligence Sharing

After the spokesperson of the Everstanding King City stepped down, it was the turn for the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom to make its entrance.

In terms of procedure, the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom was the absolute grand finale of this main showcase sharing session.

However, in the minds of Pika Sage and a few others, the true finale was not the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, but the "Dream Mirror Clan" that would appear between acts after the spokesperson of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom had left.

Though there was still a period before the final appearance, through Laplace’s message, Angel already knew that Glaipnir had left the Illusion Technique Hut and was backstage at the main showcase preparing for their entrance.

It was at this moment that the spokesperson of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom formally ascended the stage.

The Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom is truly the strongest group in the Daylight Mirror Domain. Even if no one knew what they would talk about upon appearing, the buzz pillar continued to rise.

Previously, the buzz pillar for the Everstanding King City had soared to around 95%, and now it flew directly to the top.

As the buzz pillar reached its peak, the host’s voice echoed in everyone’s ears.

Through the host’s introduction, the stage appearance of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom would slightly differ from previous clan appearances.

When other clans took the stage, a whole row of people would ascend together, and whoever’s turn it was would speak. But the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom would have three rounds of appearances.

Each time, different spokespersons would come forward to introduce various contents.

In a certain sense, it was just letting whoever’s turn it was speak; it’s simply that they wouldn’t all crowd the stage at once.

The first appearance was made by a woman with long curly hair, about three meters tall, with six pairs of pitch-black raven wings on her back. She wore a simple black and white long dress; the colors were plain, but with her naturally imposing aura, she appeared very proud and noble.

Upon taking the stage, she did not engage in any self-introduction but straightforwardly pointed out that the content she would share next would discuss a section of cultivation secrets related to the Aggregation Energy System.

This made various outside clans extremely excited.

Except Angel felt a little disappointed; he initially anticipated what kind of mysteries the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom might share on stage. Unexpectedly, the opening was a knowledge-sharing session he found utterly uninteresting.

If Angel could understand the various jargon and professional terms related to the Aggregation Energy System, he might be interested. But right now, he knew almost nothing about the Aggregation Energy System. In this context, the cultivation secrets shared by the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom were of no interest to him. At most, he planned to jot down notes and revisit them if he started researching the Aggregation Energy System later on.

Angel silently sighed and glanced around at the people at the Dog Deacon’s Hut.

Except for Sipolov, who bowed his head deep in thought, others, including the Dog Deacon, exhibited very anticipatory expressions upon hearing secret techniques would be shared.

However.

When the six-winged woman on stage revealed the topic of her sharing, everyone’s expressions froze for a moment, and the once vibrant interest visibly wilted.

Because the cultivation insights she discussed were overly niche — "Secret Technique of Scale Tempering of the Scaled Clan."

The so-called "Scaled Clan" did not specifically refer to any group but all clans with scales on their bodies.

In the Daylight Mirror Domain, not many clans have scales on their bodies; even within the Mirror Dragons, many dragons do not have scales.

And hence, this cultivation insight was genuinely extremely obscure.

Just like in the Dog Deacon’s Hut, none were from the Scaled Clan. Even if they heard this secret technique, it wasn’t particularly useful.

Of course, if one were a supreme genius, they could utilize the core of the "Secret Technique of Scale Tempering of the Scaled Clan" to develop a cultivation secret technique unique to their clan.

Just like the earlier "Mirror Break and Barrier Break," with sincere development and reform, clans could indeed achieve secret technique localization.

But... this isn’t achievable by one person alone; it requires the effort of the whole clan for research and development.

The people present did not meet this criterion. Under such conditions, even though the six-winged woman detailed her topic quite thoroughly, few people in the Dog Deacon’s Hut paid any attention.

Also because Angel noticed the lack of interest in the content from those present, he knew his inquiries wouldn’t disturb others, which is why he asked Laplace through the Mind Ribbon about the identity of the lady on stage.

"Her identity? I only know she belongs to the dragon raven within the Mirror Dragon Clan," Laplace said, "but I don’t know her exact name."

"Dragon raven?" Angel recalled that Laplace had explained before that dragon ravens were a type within the Mirror Dragons, with six pairs of wings and eight limb feet, and their bodies were extremely large, being known for resembling mythical ravens.

The most famous dragon raven of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom is Jasmine; she is also the actual leader of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom for this gathering.

Could the woman on stage be Jasmine? Angel speculated quietly because for previous clan appearances, the leader almost always showed up. Logically, Jasmine should appear on stage too.

However, speaking of which, the dragon raven lady on stage, apart from having six wings, hardly resembled the beast form. She presented herself in human form.

Did she use some sort of ability to change her appearance?

As Angel pondered, Luigi’s voice resonated through the Mind Ribbon: "That’s right, it is indeed a transformation ability."

"Since Jasmine often likes walking through the sacred land of the Divine Kingdom in human form, and as the strongest of the dragon raven clan, her every move influences the preferences of other dragon ravens."

Due to this prevailing trend, many dragon ravens imitate Jasmine’s likeness, no longer displaying their dragon forms outwardly but existing in humanoid shapes.

Luigi said, "The dragon raven on stage, named Ufry, is Jasmine’s assistant."

As Jasmine’s assistant, Ufry naturally conforms to her superior’s preference and assumes a human form more easily.

"Ufry?" Angel curiously looked at Luigi, "Do you know her?"

Luigi nodded, "Yes, I’m familiar with her through Baba Ragon’s talks."

Baba Ragon mentioned her? Angel was a bit surprised; as far as he knew, Baba Ragon rarely talked about affairs of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom.

Before Angel could inquire further, Luigi proactively continued, "Baba Ragon talked about her because she secretly admires Kukurus."

Luigi shrugged, "That’s what Baba Ragon said, but whether it’s really true, I can’t say for certain."

Angel and Laplace: "..."

Angel now understood; it was all gossip, and moreover, the kind of romantic gossip that easily becomes a talking point. No wonder even Baba Ragon, who had long left the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, would bring it up.

However, Angel wasn’t particularly interested in this kind of romantic gossip.

If they were familiar people, Angel wouldn’t mind a bit of gossip. But the two Mirror Dragons at the center of the gossip whirlpool were strangers to Angel... though Kukurus had entered the Crystal Origin of Dreams, to Angel, it was still an unfamiliar dragon, so he found no enjoyment from this gossip.

Angel further inquired in detail, but couldn’t find any question that piqued his interest, so he temporarily shelved the topic.

Luigi wasn’t interested in Ulfry’s account of "The Scaled Clan’s Scale Refining Secret Technique" either, so he took this time to ask Angel about the "intelligence" he gathered.

"This time I’ve even sent you the appearance, has your ’intelligence network’ had any feedback?" Luigi deliberately emphasized the term ’intelligence network’.

He was more interested in Angel’s intelligence network than the intelligence itself. Unfortunately, Angel had no intention of sharing the intelligence network, and Luigi didn’t want to push, so he expressed his slight dissatisfaction by emphasizing the term.

Luigi had already prepared himself for "no feedback." After all, he had only given the general appearance of the "Goose Deacon and Kulos," and expecting to immediately trace their origins was no simple task.

The void is vast, the pan-dimensional plane infinite.

Seeking people with only a vague appearance is no easier than finding a needle in a haystack.

No matter how extraordinary Angel’s intelligence network is, Luigi didn’t think it was something that could be completed in a short time.

That’s why, when Luigi saw Angel emerge from the Illusion Mist, he didn’t immediately ask. He simply didn’t believe Angel would have gathered related intelligence so quickly.

The reason he brought it up now was merely to vent his slight resentment about Angel’s unwillingness to disclose the intelligence network.

However, what Luigi didn’t expect was that Angel’s response was the complete opposite of what he imagined.

Angel: "I did obtain some intelligence, it’s just that..."

"No intelligence? Then your intelligence network doesn’t seem to..." Luigi followed his pre-planned script, but paused halfway: "Oh?"

"You said you’ve already obtained some intelligence?"

Angel: "...Yes."

From Luigi’s earlier reaction, Angel had roughly guessed Luigi’s thoughts.

However, Angel didn’t mind; he had no plans to disclose the intelligence network to anyone, not even deep collaborators like Laplace.

Since he wouldn’t disclose the origin of the intelligence network, Angel was also prepared for any emotions others might have. So, he accepted Luigi’s reaction entirely, expressing complete indifference.

With a casual nod, Angel continued: "Indeed, I obtained some intelligence, but it is still somewhat vague."

Hearing Angel’s answer, Luigi did not pursue further because Laplace next to him spoke first: "Oh? What intelligence? Tell us."

Judging by Laplace’s expression, she was also somewhat surprised by Angel’s speed in gathering intelligence.

Angel too had many unresolved mysteries about the intelligence he obtained this time. For instance, what is the snake-shaped pet in the void? Where did it come from? And what species are its three owners? Questions like these need someone knowledgeable to answer.

Laplace was obviously a well-informed presence, perhaps she knew something.

Therefore, there was no way he could conceal the intelligence he had received.

Following Laplace’s inquiry, Angel roughly recounted the intelligence he had obtained: "There is currently no clue about Kulos’ intelligence. However, regarding the Goose Deacon, I did obtain some related rumors, but they are not directly linked to the Goose Deacon himself. Yet, through these clues, we may trace the origins of the Goose Deacon."

Angel lightly turned his hand, and the Power of Nightmare Illusion swirled around them, forming a mist that blocked the outside world.

Since Angel had been using the Illusion Mist previously, both the Dog Deacon and Little Red were already accustomed to it. They used to turn their heads to look, but this time they didn’t even bother.

And Sipolov, still with his head down, lost in thought, didn’t notice the changes on Angel’s side.

Once the mist completely obscured the external view, Angel, under the scrutiny of Laplace and Luigi, presented the intelligence he had gathered from Wang Wang previously in the form of images.

He displayed the image of the "suspected same clan as the Goose Deacon," as well as the unknown three surreal forms in the void, and the images of the other two owners of the three surreal forms of the void.

He also briefly described the general location of these images — the North Cross Region.

"Except for some phantom feathers underfoot, this does resemble a member of the Goose Deacon’s clan." Laplace focused on the first image, "He appeared in the North Cross Region, so does that mean the Goose Deacon might also come from the North Cross District?"

Angel nodded: "Provided he is indeed of the same clan as the Goose Deacon."

Laplace pondered and nodded, not continuing the conversation, but instead refocused on the three images formed by the Illusion Technique, attempting to find more clues.

Luigi, at this point, finished looking at these images. He was sure he had no ideas about any of the clues in the images, so he didn’t delve further. Moreover, more than the content of the images, he was immensely curious about how Angel managed to obtain such detailed images in such a short time.

However, as curious as he was, Luigi knew it wasn’t appropriate to ask directly, so he could only guess based on the information in the images.

From the perspective of these images, it was as if someone was spying from afar. But Luigi could confirm that the backgrounds of all the images were in the void.

And, they were in the void of the North Cross District.

In other words, the intelligence network Angel controlled was at least capable of wandering near the void of the North Cross District.

Moreover, spying secretly in the void from afar without being detected... this wasn’t simple, indicating that Angel’s intelligence personnel possessed very powerful concealment techniques.

Assuming Angel’s intelligence personnel were in the void of the North Cross District, the fact that Angel could remotely receive information from them in the Mirror Domain meant that Angel’s intelligence network also possessed the capability of cross-dimensional communication.

Each of these three points, in terms of difficulty, is harder than the previous one, especially the ability for cross-dimensional communication. Luigi could not imagine what kind of technology could achieve this?

Was it similar to the capability of the Crystal Origin of Dreams? Was it remote communication through the Dream Realm as a medium?

This was the only point Luigi could think of.

Angel harbored many secrets, but those revealed, such as the Crystal Origin of Dreams, could achieve this. If Angel could create the Crystal Origin of Dreams via the Dream Realm, perhaps he could also create communication channels through the Dream Realm?

However, even if there were communication channels, Angel still needed "intelligence personnel" to receive the information.

Who could Angel’s intelligence personnel be? Were they void traveling merchants, or some special void creatures?

Of course, when it comes to void creatures, Luigi never considered the Void Travelers. Because it is a well-known low-intelligence life form, unable to even distinguish basic information, much less perform information transmission requiring precise analytical skills.

Unable to think of an answer, Luigi could only regretfully pause for now.

If Angel knew Luigi’s thoughts, he would probably admire Luigi’s imagination. The conjectures seemed logically consistent, yet they veered off course from the very beginning.
