Chapter 1336 - Chapter 1336: Section 1337: Law Creation Phenomenon

Chapter 1336: Section 1337: Law Creation Phenomenon

Sterling quietly watched the distance, and after a long while, he chuckled softly, “This is the fluctuation of creation magic, capable of stirring the world consciousness, seems like it’s a decent spell technique indeed.”

Sanders had sensed it, too, but what he was concerned about wasn’t exactly the creation magic itself. When he first performed creation magic, the world consciousness also descended, and the extent of the phenomenon was one of the greatest in recent centuries.

What concerned him more was the location.

“This direction, and this distance…” Sanders furrowed his brows, “Why does it feel like it’s coming from the Whisker Sea?”

Sterling nodded and added, “Indeed, from the Whisker Sea, very close to the Arcane Nullification land. I don’t know who would choose to practice creation there.”

The land of Arcane Nullification referred to the Old Earth Continent.

Very close to the Old Earth Continent? A sudden premonition surged in Sanders’ heart.

After a moment of silence, he stood up and said to Sterling, “Thank you for today. I have some matters to attend to, so I will take my leave.”

After he finished speaking, without waiting for Sterling to respond, Sanders’ figure vanished from the Ironsheet Wizard Tower.

Sterling murmured to himself, “He left so quickly, I was actually planning to ask him about Angel’s matters, sigh… Never mind, Muse seemed to have mentioned before, that she had given the access card to the research development institute to Angel. Next time I return to the institute, I’ll bring it up then.”

Elsewhere, Sanders went directly to a corner of the Punk Theme Park, beneath a large tree adorned with colored balloons.

Near the big tree was a magical circus, one that delighted in the cruel entertainment of tormenting undead. Standing under the tree, the miserable shrieks from the circus could still be heard.

Sanders knocked on the trunk of the large tree, and an invisible door suddenly appeared upon it. Sanders pushed open the tree door and entered.

From the outside, it was an ordinary large tree, but inside the trunk was surprisingly spacious, bustling with people who shared one common feature: the emblem of the “Eternal Tree” on their attire.

This place was the base of the Barbarian Cave within the Punk Theme Park.

The personnel at the base greeted Sanders with respectful attitudes upon seeing him enter.

Sanders nodded in acknowledgment to the others and then went directly to a temporary room at the back. After pushing open the door and taking a seat on the sofa, he entered the Wilderness of Dreams through the process of ‘Enter Dream’.

When Sanders arrived at the Sky Tower, he happened to see Frode walking out from inside the tower.

“Illusion Demon, Your Excellency,” Frode bowed respectfully.

“Has Angel come in?” Sanders asked.

Frode looked slightly bewildered and shook his head, “He came by before, seemed to have spoken to his brother, and then left. He’s not in the Wilderness of Dreams at the moment.”

Frode frowned, wondering why Angel would need to speak to Lyon in the Wilderness of Dreams. Aren’t the brothers living together in their manor?

Or perhaps, Angel had now left?

With this thought, Sanders’ heart suddenly leapt, and he couldn’t help asking, “Is Lyon currently in the Wilderness of Dreams?”

Frode nodded, “He is. He’s with Sir Sabel.”

After a while, Frode came across Lyon, who was learning combat skills under Sir Sabel. Faced with Sanders’ inquiry, Lyon replied with a puzzled expression, “Illusion Demon, Your Excellency, how did you know that Angel isn’t at the manor? Indeed, Angel has left, as of yesterday.”

Sanders rubbed his temples and asked, “Do you know what he left to do?”

Lyon shook his head, “Angel only said he would be away for a few days and would return soon, so I didn’t ask where he was going. Oh, I remember he mentioned something about looking for gold, but later when I asked where he was then, he said he was at sea. If I remember correctly, isn’t Conniea located on land?”

“At sea?” The foreboding in Sanders’ heart grew more pronounced, “Which sea? The North Command Sea, or the Whisker Sea?”

Both the North Command Sea and the Whisker Sea were near the Old Earth Continent, but in different directions.

“The Whisker Sea,” replied Lyon decisively.

Upon hearing this answer, Sanders showed no reaction outwardly, but inwardly a voice sighed in resignation, “As expected.”

Earlier, when he sensed the ripple of world consciousness while with Sterling and learned that the location was very close to the Old Earth Continent, he had a vague premonition that it might be related to Angel.

That’s why he promptly said goodbye to Sterling and left to confirm his suspicions in the Wilderness of Dreams. It turned out his intuition was not wrong.

Although it was still uncertain whether the world consciousness was stirred up by Angel, Angel’s mysterious trip to the Whisker Sea was already suspicious enough.

“Illusion Demon, Your Excellency, did something happen to Angel?” Lyon asked with a hint of confusion.

Sanders shook his head, “No, it’s nothing. I was just asking. Because near the Whisker Sea, there was a creation magic….”

Creation magic… phenomenon? Sanders stopped mid-sentence, suddenly struck with a recollection.

Angel had mentioned before that he had been preparing for something related to the Witchcraft Slot recently.

Sanders was actually very curious about what exactly Angel’s Witchcraft Slot was, but Angel had always maintained a mystery, and now, associating with that Law Creation Phenomenon… Could it be that Angel had taken the most difficult path? Original spell creation?!

Sanders’ first Witchcraft Slot, developed during his Apprentice stage, was dedicated to “Mimicry Technique.” His remaining two Witchcraft Slots, which he developed as a First Level and Second Level Wizard respectively, were dedicated to “Shadow of the Yan” and “Nightmare Substitute.”

The latter two Spell Techniques were his original creations and were also the ones that best suited him. However, the first Witchcraft Slot was a very common Third Level Trick. Although it could be combined with the Nightmare Realm to release a “Dream Illusion Mimicry Technique” with outstanding power and effect, for Sanders, it was ultimately a regret.

Because this was a regret for him, he actually hoped that Angel, from his very first Witchcraft Slot, would use original magic creation. Especially since Sanders had previously seen Angel use his own modified “Wind Dragon,” his expectations were naturally higher.

However, spell creation was not so simple; decades could pass without achieving anything.

Considering the brewing storm in the Wizards’ Realm, Sanders did not impose this idea on Angel, merely allowing him to choose a Trick that would be useful for himself to set into his Witchcraft Slot.

But now, if the Law Creation Phenomenon in the Whisker Sea came from Angel.

He couldn’t really have embarked on this most difficult path, could he? Thinking of how Angel mysteriously concealed his Witchcraft Slot, the answer seemed ready to emerge.

Initially, Sanders thought Angel was probably causing trouble again, but if Angel was creating spells, then… the scale of this Law Creation Phenomenon would be too small, worth stretching across the entire sea area and best lasting for hundreds of days.

The larger the scale, the more pleased and willing he was!

After all, when Greya created “Creation Magic” in the Cloudnet Sea, the phenomenon lasted for hundreds of days!

Sanders’ mood suddenly improved, “Although the scale of the signs is not large, at least it drew the attention of the world consciousness, but for an Apprentice’s creation magic, it’s pretty good… But speaking of which, why does the descent of the world consciousness this time feel a bit strange to me?”

Sanders muttered to himself but didn’t think too much of it.

On the other side, Lyon was still waiting for a response from Sanders. However, seeing Sanders’ elated expression, surely Angel must be alright?

Guessing that Angel was very likely involved in spell creation, Sanders had planned to put aside his current affairs and return directly through the Plane Corridor to check the situation.

But doing so would seem overly grand, showing too much concern. Moreover, there was a chance that it wasn’t Angel who was creating the spell, which would make the return quite awkward.

If Angel was truly involved in spell creation, it would be a matter for the Witchcraft Slot anyway, so it didn’t matter if he went back sooner or later.

It would be better to complete his current tasks first to avoid wasting the casting materials for opening a Plane Corridor.

Sanders returned to reality and continued searching for his next target at Punk Theme Park, though his thoughts remained on the matter of spell creation.

If it was indeed Angel who had been creating spells, then his future path to True Knowledge would be wide open.

“It’s just that I don’t know what kind of spell he created that could be perfected in such a short time to reach the stage of becoming a technique.”

The only regret was that the scale of the phenomenon was relatively small.

Not many in the Southern Domain of the Wizards’ Realm took much notice of this descent of the world consciousness, including Sanders himself.

However, in the dark void not too far from the Wizards’ Realm’s planar barrier.

A gaze was directed towards the Southern Domain.

“Eh, is that the Prime Will?” A figure shrouded in nothingness in a black robe spoke with a hint of surprise.

He had left the Southern Domain not long ago and was well aware of the current situation there. Since the passage to the Flourish Continent was gone, the Southern Domain lagged far behind the other Wizard communities. Unexpectedly, even such a region had a Law Creation Phenomenon that could attract the attention of the Prime Will?

Still, what was strange was that the Prime Will didn’t seem to be on the verge of descending but rather appeared to be observing something.

Of course, that was just a metaphor from the man in the black robe. Because the Prime Will itself is also a collective consciousness and inherently lacks any bias in thought and emotion.

The man in the black robe looked slightly regretful; if the Prime Will had descended, the creator of the spells would likely gain benefits beyond imagination.

After all, a Law Creation Phenomenon invariably brings corresponding rewards.

The rewards of the Prime Will always point directly to the truth.

What a pity.

As the man in the black robe was internally shaking his head in regret, he suddenly “Eh” out loud.

It wasn’t because there was something wrong with the Law Creation Phenomenon, but rather, he sensed a familiar disturbance not too far from it.

“Could it be that I’ve sensed the malevolent personality created by the Dark Melody?” The man raised an eyebrow. When he was in the Southern Domain, he had given King Gumman a feedback because he wanted to take a peek at whether the Crimson Authority was out of control, which was to create a malevolent personality for the owner of the Crimson Authority.

He hadn’t expected to sense that individual during the Law Creation Phenomenon.

“There’s some fate here. If it weren’t for discovering the ‘Reincarnation Casket of the Undead,’ an uncontrollable artifact, I might have visited the Southern Domain to see for myself,” the man said, shaking his head with some regrets as he turned and flew into the dark void.
