Rui Li's face froze when she initially saw the clasped hands but soon that expression changed to an uncontrollable burst of laughter as she rolled on the ground holding her belly.

Zhang Li couldn't take being laughed at so he pointed at her his expression dark but unfortunately, his speech was lagging slower than his brain. "You_______ brat!" scolded Zhang Li but his finger was pulled down by Lady Ching Sei.

"Don't point," she said in such a soft tone you wouldn't think the one she was speaking to was Zhang Li.

"Mhm," replied Zhang Li smiling foolishly at her with his hand slowly draping around her shoulders.

The expressions of the crew bustling about on Nightshade couldn't say anything but their expressions were as dark as the bottom of a clay pot. If only they could just kick this man off their ship before he corrupts their captain.

"Ha haha, I am sorry I did not see this coming," laughed Rui Li unable to contain herself. Maybe she should get YaoFei pair drunk then lock them up in their cabin until one of them comes out pregnant then they can have a wedding and she could be the flower girl and....

"Wait did you just say until one of them gets pregnant?" asked Rui Yewan with a surprised look on his face. Rui Li thought she was thinking but it turns out she was thinking out loud so Rui Yewan heard it. "You do know where babies come from, right?"

Rui Li nodded her head while saying, "Yah, I do," with a silly smile on her face while sitting cross-legged.

"Then you do know that these two can't have... argh never mind," replied Rui Yewan not at all willing to burst her bubble. Some things would be better if she found out on her own.

"Mmmm, that sounds interesting. How about she locks us... ah," said Zhang Li but he didn't even get to finish his sentence when he was pinched mercilessly. With his hand on the side of his body that was pinched, he played the perfect part of the wounded animal as he followed behind Lady Ching Sei.

Ji Yao wasn't even listening to his surroundings as he was seriously discussing the way forward with Rui Fei. As for Rui Fei, he heard it all and his mind strayed a little thinking what Ji Yao would look like with a bulging belly carrying a little Huishe, Qilin or Raiju cub. It could even have a mix of all those bloodlines and he wouldn't care.

Heck, he can even be the one having the belly. As long as it's Ji Yao's he wouldn't mind carrying it to full term. Such wild thoughts put a subconscious smile on his face that sold him out to Ji Yao. The cub was obviously not listening with his gaze fixated on Ji Yao's belly.

"What the..... Fei-er, what did you just think of just now?" he asked feeling like he had just been undressed by that stare. He covered his belly and as though deprived of his enjoyment, Rui Fei raised his head a little aggrieved.

"Yao-ge, what are you getting shy about? Let me take a look... I am curious to see if it has grown a few inches," he said trying to remove Ji Yao's hand that was hiding his belly.

Ji Yao was in a no-nonsense kind of mood right now. He smacked his hand away and shot him a warning glare. Maybe it was because Rui Fei had no idea where babies come from exactly or that he didn't know that rubbing against each other with clothes on can't get one pregnant but either way he was curious to see if Ji Yao's belly grew. Or maybe he should take a look at his own belly to see if it grew instead. 

But for now, he could only let it go and paid attention to what Ji Yao was saying. Ji Yao knew whoever this man's accomplice was they were most likely going to come back for him and he wanted to let that happen but not without a plan.

He wanted to plant a little of his seraphic energy on the man's body so he can track his whereabouts but the problem was transferring that part of his energy from this man to Qilin Kai.

Even if it was possible he couldn't guarantee it would work. He needed to know Qilin Kai's movements so when he is done with collecting the keystones and gets his father back he can go with him to hunt that Qilin down.

But this cub of his wasn't even listening. He was busy gawking at his belly as though there was something interesting to see. Rui Fei reached out and playfully tugged Ji Yao's strands twirling them around his fingers.

He licked his lip and smiled gleefully before saying, "You don't need to do that because I have the perfect solution."

Ji Yao's eyes narrowed looking at him with some suspicion. He wanted to ask what he meant but Rui Fei spoke first. "I know you want to know what my perfect solution is but um..... nothing is for free," he said leaning closer after the pause. Ji Yao who had been pinned down by him in public before took a step back wondering if he should cover his chest again.

Rui Fei leaned forward with a sly grin on his face as he whispered into his ear, "I can tell you under one condition."

"What condition," asked Ji Yao his face heating up. He was so afraid people would see his anomaly so he took another step back and cleared his throat loudly before saying, "You can say it from afar..... you don't have to be this close."

Rui Fei wasn't at all fazed by his words. In fact, he took that statement and ran with it striking back at his thin-faced Yao-ge. "Uh? Yao-ge do you want the entire ship to hear it? Okay, I don't mind," before slightly turning his face to shout, "then can I see your mmmm mmmmm...."

His mouth was covered by Ji Yao who was nervously laughing to loosen the atmosphere. While Ji Yao was blocking Rui Fei's mouth pulling him back, Old Du and Xunshi Zhe were just standing there watching them. "I say, do you think they even see us or we are just invisible to them?" asked Xunshi Zhe rubbing his chin with a serious look on his face like he had asked an important question.

"Nope, we are just backdrops in this love affair. I wonder what Ji Wen's reaction would be if he was around?" replied Old Du watching Ji Yao's timid expression that is only ever seen on his face in front of Rui Fei.

"AH! Ai..... you bastard," cried the man lying on the ground after Big Hei gave him one good kick.

Old Du stared in that direction while Xunshi Zhe reprimanded Big Hei. "Aish..... leave the man alone he has already learnt his lesson.. Our young King already took revenge for you so what is your problem?" said Xunshi Zhe pulling this big man who was about to stomp Dong Jie in the nuts away.
