Chapter 156 - Wei Wei's Little Lies
It was then Qilin Kai realised he had made a huge mistake. If only he had played on these youngsters' insecurities especially Rui Fei he would have had a chance. He found Rui Fei childish speech funny but he didn't make a sound. If only this kid knew his grandfather he wouldn't be saying such nonsense.
If the great Huishe clan leader finds out his favourite and only daughter had a son and the son is lovestruck for a half Qilin who is also male, all hell will break loose. To that old man, it didn't matter whether he was raised by wolves or a swarm of bees, his blood is his blood. And Huishe Yue knew this but never told Rui Fei.
"Yes, such is the speech of a cub-," he responded but he couldn't persist with his mockery because the door was suddenly kicked open and Huishe Yue showed up spitting fire.
He had just woken up and wasn't happy when he found out those two jeopardised his revenge plan. He planned on either him walking away alive or neither of them. That's how serious he was about avenging for his sister. Who would have thought the two would release a stink bomb on them and knock them both out? So he was extremely angry barging into this room without a second thought..
He headed for the bars on the cage ready to tear this man apart but Rui Fei stopped him. He pinned his uncle on the opposite bulkhead as Huishe Yue tried to get past him.
The scene became extremely chaotic but these words had to be said so Ji Yao didn't throw Huishe Yue out. He sat down where Rui Fei was sitting before and let this screaming match continue as he watched quietly.
Qilin Kai got up with an eerie smile further inciting Huishe Yue but his wish wasn't fulfilled because Rui Fei was really good at holding his uncle back. This is why Ji Yao wasn't worried things will get out of hand.
"You caused my sister's pain and death when you locked me up in that shit hole! Fei-er, let me go... I am going to fuckin kill you," said Huishe Yue with such grievous emotions you wouldn't think it was the same person.
Qilin Kai found his outburst amusing. He replied, "How is it my fault that you were so fuckin weak? Oh boy, I can almost imagine her crying for her brother while being fucked by that-."
That sentence never got finished because Ji Yao stabbed his sword into Qilin Kai's shoulder impaling him against the bulkhead of the ship.
Rui Fei was about to explode as well but Ji Yao bit him to it. There was no way Ji Yao was going to tolerate any disrespect towards Rui Fei's mother. Qilin Kai could say anything he wanted to anger Huishe Yue and Rui Fei and incite them but he wouldn't tolerate making use of her abuse.
She suffered so much under Prince Rui's tyranny and deserved to rest in peace not being used as a pawn for Qilin Kai to get what he wants.
Rui Fei retrieved his sword and Qilin Kai fell to the ground with a hand on his still bleeding shoulder.
He glared at Ji Yao with his red-rimmed eyes and said, "Who isn't a victim? I lost the love of my life to him yet he strolls in here acting all tough when he forced Wei Wei to marry you! You did the same thing to her like what happened to your sister so what is there to fuckin cry about?"
His other hand that was supporting his body as he knelt on the ground was trembling from rage. If he didn't have latrion in his system and chains binding his hands and feet he would have brought down this entire ship and sunk it at the bottom of the sea.
Huishe Yue who had been wrongfully accused, "..."
Who forced who to do what? Huishe Yue never forced anyone to marry him. That sweet girl grew up with him in the clan and confessed to him every year but Huishe Yue always refused. She would always do things for him despite him refusing her countless times.
Not willing to seem like a jerk he stopped complaining and let her be. Her tactic worked because he was worn down by her and eventually warmed up his heart. The relationship blossomed swiftly after years of delay.
She happened to visit her maternal side of the family a year before their wedding and she was gone for six months. That is the only other time she was apart from him. What he didn't realise was that in those six months she met Qilin Kai. But because her maternal side was of the Pixiu clan it was hard for him to tell that she was Huishe.
The two had a full-blown affair which her grandmother disagreed with. It was because of this affair her grandmother nagged her into going back to the Qilin clan.
Because she didn't want to disclose the truth she lied to Qilin Kai saying that she was being forced to marry Huishe Yue and that she would have to leave.
It was this lie that drove Qilin Kai into locking up Huishe Yue when he met him. It was to revenge for his lover who was forced to separate from him and marry another. If he only knew Wei Wei had lied to him he might not have taken things too far.
Huishe Yue paused in shock for a moment. He pointed at himself and asked a rhetorical question. "Me?..... I forced the love of your life to get married to me? Me?"
"Yes you forced her into marriage yet you have the balls to cry foul when it happens to your sister... what about Wei Wei? Who is going to defend her?" replied Qilin Kai sitting back down with an ashen face.
Now Huishe Yue was really confused. They couldn't be possibly talking about the same person, right? "I never forced her to do anything..... if anything she wore me down and sucked me into a relationship. Do I fuckin look like I am desperate to force someone to marry me? Who the fuck am I, huh? Don't put me in the same category as you Qilin because that's your style, not us."
Ji Yao, "....."
He is a Qilin but how was he being classified as a dirty bastard as well? He was as pure as a lotus flower unravelling its petals in the early morning.
"If that's what you are into..... you can force me any time. I won't refuse to tie the knot with you," whispered Rui Fei not considering the seriousness of this situation.
Well, that's it. Rui Fei was definitely getting a time out. Ji Yao couldn't handle this endless teasing. Rui Fei had to be handled otherwise his tail would keep getting longer and longer.
