Villainous Young Master's Otherworldly Harem
Chapter 583 - 583: Protagonist Crashes the Wedding
Cold wind whipped across the rugged wilderness as Lin Fan sprinted through the underbrush, his ragged breathing sounding like a broken bellows. Behind him, dozens of shadowy figures cloaked in midnight black bounded across the crags with terrifying speed, brandishing gleaming curved sabers.
"Lin Fan, give it up! Stop running and accept your death!" the lead assassin barked, his sneer slicing through the whistling wind. "A crippled dog actually thinks he can escape our grasp? Count your last breaths, bastard!"
Lin Fan gritted his bloody teeth, venom coursing through his veins hotter than the chill of the night. "Treacherous dogs! How dare you betray the Lin Clan?! Colluding with those venomous scoundrels from the Black Serpent Sect... and my elder sister! You spineless bastards orchestrated her forced marriage to that sect's bastard young master just to sell out our bloodline and techniques!"
His heart tore in agony at the thought.
Once upon a time, Lin Fan had been the proud second young master of the Lin Clan, a prestigious mid-size martial family residing in the eastern frontiers of the Azure Cloud Domain. His talent had outshone peers, hailing him as a genius. Until a sinister poison crept through his meridians three years ago, ruthlessly crippling his martial foundation.
Cast aside into obscurity, his family endured humiliation after humiliation until the Black Serpent Sect pushed for his sister's hand. His father resisted tooth and nail, but who could have imagined that their own clan elders would betray their ancestral lineage, opening the gates to the Black Serpent Sect's rebellion?
Lin Fan was outside when the catastrophic news reached him. Desperate to find help or survive, he fled, only to be ambushed by those bastards.
A sudden wind pushed hard against his chest. Lin Fan braked to an abrupt halt, loose pebbles tumbling endlessly into the void beneath his shoes.
He had reached the edge of the cliff. Before him lay the bottomless abyss of Cloud Ridge, blanketed by an eerie, swirling ocean of ink-black fog.
The pursuers closed the ring within seconds, swords raised, laughing contemptuously. "Run! Why aren't you running now? Cry out for that patriarch father of yours!"
Trapped between the assassins and the fall, Lin Fan suddenly let out a venomous chuckle that grew into a defiant roar.
He turned around, his eyes burning with bleeding malice. "You want my life? You want to drag my body back like a trophy to please those bastards? Dream on! I'd rather shatter my bones to dust than give you mongrels an ounce of satisfaction! Fuck every single one of you!"
Without a second's hesitation, Lin Fan flung himself backward into the empty abyss.
"Stop him!"
The pursuers lunged forward in panic, but it was too late. Peering down over the edge of the cliff, all they could see was a pitch-black expanse swallowing the boy whole.
One of the assassins spat over the edge, casually sheathing his blade with a shrug.
"Tch, reckless fool. No one survives a fall down the Cloud Ridge. He's already a dead man."
Lingering only long enough to confirm the dead silence below, the pack turned and vanished back into the desolate night.
Far down beneath the peaks, Lin Fan's body lay mangled amidst the stone debris like crushed, splattered remains. Every bone felt shattered, his inner organs ruptured beyond repair.
During his frantic, dizzying fall, his hand had grazed against thick mountain branches, a last, desperate bid for life. Yet the wood felt strangely charred and brittle, as if recently burnt by ferocious fire. The moment his fingers locked around it, the burnt branch snapped, throwing him to the brutal impact.
Somehow, by some cruel trick of destiny, a wisp of breath still remained in his chest. But he was fading fast.
As the crimson world began to blur and absolute darkness crept over his eyes, a strange fruit attracted his attention. He slowly tried his best, dragging his body towards the nourishing fragrance.
The moment he ate that fruit, pain erupted from his body. But an hour later, Lin Fan opened his eyes. His wounds… They were healed!
' I… I am alive! I AM ALIVE!"
Still with lingering pain, Lin Fan slowly crawled up. He looked around and found he had fallen into a strange place. ' That fruit…Could it be some ancient spirit fruit? Else how it could heal my entire body?'
Suddenly, the moon light shone, revealing a stone cave before Lin Fan. Curious, Lin Fan walked inside it.
When he arrived, he saw the place was already demolished from inside, yet a stone stele was standing.
[ Those who wish to attain power of a tyrant, the power to dominate heaven and earth, kowtow before my grace for a thousand times and accept my technique]
Suddenly, Lin Fan sensed something as rather than kowtowing, he started to dig before the stele. Not long after, he found a box and a letter.
[ HAHAHA! YOU DIDN'T EVEN KOWTOW! GOOD! GOOD! NOW TAKE THIS AND RAMPAGE IN THE WORLD!]
Excited, Lin Fan opened the box and found a manual.
" Eh?"
As he was expecting some heavenly internal energy method or celestial sword art, he read a strange technique.
" Divine Spirit Drawing Art?"

" Ahaha, Congratulations, Young Master Cui! May your marriage be prosperous."
" Haha, they are truly looking like a pair of mandarin ducks."
Lin Yue, elder sister of Lin Fan, sat in crimson bridal robes. She whispered to the maid beside her, " Still no news of Lin Fan?"
" No, Young Miss. Our guards were searching for him, but…" The maid sighed.
Lin Yue felt worried about Lin Fan, ' I hope he is safe. What if he…'
" STOP THIS MARRIAGE!"
Suddenly, the door exploded as a figure walked inside. Everyone were shocked when they saw the person.
" Holy shit! It's Lin Fan!"
" To think he is alive! I thought he was already laying dead in some ditch."
The crowd immediately started to look for their stock of melon seeds. Suddenly, the surge of snack and wine increased. After all, they were happy with this unexpected development.
Cui Yongze's face flinched when he saw Lin Fan. ' Those useless bastards! They can't even take care of one cripple!'
" Heh, greetings, Brother in Law." Cui Yongze gave a smile, dripping with coldness. " I am delighted that you came to our wedding, albeit late. Do eat in the banquet."
" Motherfucker, you dare?!" Lin Fan sneered as he walked forward. " If you are thinking those guards and third elder outside is going to save you, you are dead wrong."
Cui Yongze's eyes narrowed as he looked behind Lin Fan, beyond the gate he could see the bodies laying on the ground. ' Bastard! Did he forced his way inside?'
" Lin Fan! What are you doing here?!" Lin Yue's eyes turned teary as she shouted, " Just…Just go away! Don't stay here!"
" Don't worry, Sister!" Lin Fan spoke with a proud tone, " Today, no one will be taking you away forcefully."
" You!!" Cui Yongze's body trembled as he suddenly started to laugh. " Hahahaha! GOOD! GOOD!"
" You bastard is getting on my nerves from a long time ago. You did good coming here. Heh, I will take this chance and kill you personally."
" Cui Yongze! Don't!"
Lin Yue tried to stop Cui Yongze, but Cui Yongze arched his body and shot forwards, landing before Lin Fan.
" Haha, you little crippled shit!" Cui Yongzhe clenched his sword hilt, " Let's see if you can even put a performance."
Lin Fan's eyes filled with a cold, murderous gaze as he looked at Cui Yongze. " Hmph! Let's see how long you can keep that arrogant self."
Divine Spirit Drawing Technique!
Suddenly, Lin Fan felt like his vision was zooming out, as if his soul and body lost contact. He could see and perceive outside, but like looking through a window of his eyes. His body moved involuntarily.
Internal energy roared from his dantian like tidal wave, making Lin Fan both shocked and excited.
His mouth turned into a curl as 'Lin Fan' shouted,
" Dragon Subduing Eight Trigrams!
