Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 387: Damian's Three-Day Survival Horror
Thanks to Serina’s Harmonious Ocean Water and Cassandra’s absurdly potent mixture, Damian quickly discovered that his earlier worries had been completely justified.
His weakened cultivation might have disappeared, but unfortunately for him, the strange combination kept his body in far better condition than any normal mortal had the right to be.
Which meant the women had absolutely no intention of letting their rare opportunity go to waste.
For the next three days, Damian barely escaped the bedroom.
Normally, Linsey and the others were the ones left exhausted whenever Damian decided to get serious.
This time, however, the situation had completely reversed.
Linsey practically celebrated every chance she got. “Hahaha! Finally! Master can’t bully us back!”
Helena had been slightly more restrained, though the satisfied smile she wore afterward betrayed her.
Even Cynthia, normally the calmest of them, seemed unusually pleased with finally having the advantage.
Evelyn never said much at all.
But the tiny victorious look she gave Damian every time he complained said more than enough.
By the third day, Damian was lying motionless on the bed, looking noticeably thinner and completely defeated.
“Monsters…” he muttered weakly.
Cassandra laughed nearby. “Hehe… worth it.”
Serina covered her mouth with a soft smile. “I have to agree.”
Meanwhile, Miona sat near the edge of the room, trying extremely hard to maintain a dignified expression.
Unfortunately, memories of the previous nights kept returning to her.
She glanced toward Damian, then quickly looked away as her face reddened again, silently cursing herself.
She had been embarrassed at first, extremely embarrassed, but now that everything was over, Miona couldn’t deny it.
Being with Damian had been far better than she expected.
More importantly, getting the chance to turn the tables on that shameless bastard in the one area where he was usually the most confident had been ridiculously satisfying.
Without realizing it, Miona’s lips slowly curled into a suspiciously satisfied grin.
Serina noticed immediately.
Her calm expression shifted into a knowing smile. “Miona…”
Miona’s grin vanished at once. “No.”
Serina raised an eyebrow. “I didn’t even say anything.”
Miona pointed at her sister, face already turning red. “You were thinking it!”
Serina covered her mouth and laughed softly. “Hehe… don’t worry. Your older sister understands.”
Miona’s entire face went crimson. “Sis!”
Cassandra glanced between them before letting out an amused chuckle.
Damian, barely able to lift his head from the pillow, groaned. “Can all of you please stop looking so damn proud?”
Miona immediately looked at him.
All of her embarrassment vanished.
A smug grin slowly spread across her face instead. “No.”
Damian’s eye twitched. “Goddammit…”
Cassandra laughed and gently waved him off. “Alright, alright. We’ll leave you alone for now, Damian. Just leave the harem matters to us and get some rest.”
Damian stared at her with the most pitiful expression he could manage. “Of course I need rest. You women completely drained me. I can barely move my damn body.”
Cassandra glanced between them before chuckling.
Damian, barely able to lift his head from the pillow, groaned. “Can all of you please stop looking so damn proud?”
Miona immediately looked at him. Whatever embarrassment she had been feeling vanished, replaced by a smug grin. “No.”
Damian’s eye twitched. “Goddammit…”
Cassandra laughed and gently waved one hand. “Alright, alright. We’ll leave you alone for now. Just leave the harem matters to us, Damian. You don’t need to worry about anything. Rest.”
Damian stared at her with a pitiful expression. “Of course I need rest. You lunatics completely wore me out. I can barely move my body.”
Miona’s grin widened. “Serves you right.”
Damian glared weakly at her. “I hate how happy you look right now.”
—
Damian let out a long sigh and opened the System again. “System… can you at least listen to me this time?”
No response appeared, but Damian continued anyway. “For the last three days, I’ve basically been drained dry by these women.”
He paused, then shamelessly added, “And technically, my essence still counts as a gift to them, right? That’s why I’m calling you. I want to make a small modification.”
The System remained silent.
Damian ignored that and kept going. “Since the returns lately haven’t exactly been amazing, can you just fuse whatever rewards I get before integrating them into me this time?”
He tapped his chest. “At the very least, give me a Spiritual Root again… and please fix my damn comprehension while you’re at it.”
A minute passed before a System screen finally appeared.
—
[Request Accepted and Acknowledged]
[Fusing all compatible return rewards obtained during the last three days before directly integrating them with the Host.]
—
Damian blinked. “Damn… to think that actually worked.”
Knowing that, he finally let out a sigh of relief. Still, the System had only mentioned fusion.
There was nothing about letting him choose a Spiritual Root, improve his Comprehension, or select any specific reward he wanted.
So apparently, he still couldn’t decide the result himself.
But if the System could at least combine compatible rewards before giving them to him, that was already damn useful.
—
[Gift: Host Essence accumulated over three days.]
—
Damian stared at the wording and frowned. “Did you really have to phrase it like that?”
Sure, the System had said the rewards from the last three days would be fused, but the wording still sounded strange.
It made it sound like three entire days’ worth of his essence had been squeezed dry, rather than just a small amount collected over three days.
Damian’s mouth twitched, but in the end, he could only sigh and ignore it.
—
[Linsey: 300× Critical Multiplier]
[Helena: 300× Critical Multiplier]
[Cynthia: 340× Critical Multiplier]
[Evelyn: 360× Critical Multiplier]
[Cassandra: 1000× Critical Multiplier]
[Serina: 2000× Critical Multiplier]
[Miona: 1000× Critical Multiplier]
—
Damian frowned. “Huh? Wait a minute… Serina has two thousand? I remember she only had a thousand before.”
He thought about it for a moment before a grin slowly appeared on his face. “Hehe… so Serina already reached maximum Favorability with me. What an unexpected surprise.”
Then he looked at Miona’s number again.
Still only 1000×.
That meant she hadn’t reached maximum Favorability yet, but judging from everything that had happened, she probably wasn’t far from it either.
Damian chuckled to himself. “That’s fine. I can take my time with her. Bullying that tsundere is pretty fun anyway.”
A moment later, the reward panel finally appeared.
—
[Return Rewards:]
[Comprehension Aptitude: Enlightened]
[Emperor Grade Spiritual Root: Myriad Desire Root]
[Emperor Grade Cultivation Art: Myriad Desire Transformation Scripture]
[100 Years of Enlightened Comprehension of the Myriad Desire Transformation Scripture]
—
Damian stared at the reward panel for several seconds, rubbed his eyes once, then broke into a wide grin. “Hehe… System, oh System. You really are a damn tsundere, aren’t you?”
After all his complaining about losing practically everything, the System had actually given him exactly what he needed most.
Damian immediately sat up straighter despite his exhaustion. “Alright. No more wasting time.”
His grin widened. “Fuse everything into me now.”
