Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 367: Luxurious Profile, Trash Comprehension
By the time Damian finally escaped Cassandra’s clutches, several hours had passed.
He lay flat on the bed for a while, staring blankly at the ceiling before groaning. "Goddammit... that woman is going to fucking kill me one day."
Cassandra was already sleeping peacefully beside him, looking far too satisfied with herself.
Damian sighed and opened the system.
At the very least, he wanted to see what he had earned from sacrificing his dignity and possibly half his life force.
---
[Target: Cassandra Valeria]
[1000× Critical Multiplier Triggered]
[Return: Host State Being Perfected]
---
Damian blinked. "Again?"
He slowly sat up and sighed.
A 1000× multiplier was obviously amazing, but this was already the third time he had received this kind of reward: his state being perfected.
Aside from his body feeling ridiculously good afterward, and his condition becoming better overall, he honestly couldn’t tell what else was changing.
Damian stared at the system and frowned. "Just how fucking perfect do you want me to become before you stop giving me this kind of reward?"
Curiosity finally got the better of him.
He opened his status screen for the first time in quite a while, since he had honestly been too lazy to check it properly lately.
---
[Name: Damian]
[Realm: Peak Nascent Soul Realm]
[Qi: Chaos Dragon Qi]
[Spiritual Root: King Grade Chaos Dragon Spiritual Root]
[Physique: King Grade Chaos Dragon Physique]
[Bloodline: King Grade Chaos Dragon Bloodline]
[Comprehension: Ordinary]
[King Grade Talents: All Weapons, Killing Intent, Alchemist, Blacksmith, Talisman, Tamer, Musician, Singer]
[Body / Qi / Soul Foundation: Supreme Grade]
---
Damian looked over his status and finally grinned. At this point, his profile had become ridiculously luxurious.
Almost everything was already King Grade, and even his various talents had gradually been pushed upward through repeated gifting returns.
Unfortunately, one embarrassingly pathetic line still ruined the entire view.
---
[Comprehension: Ordinary]
---
Damian’s eye twitched. "Seriously? System, why the hell have you never given me a comprehension reward?"
After receiving all these ridiculous upgrades, his natural comprehension was somehow still stuck at the lowest level.
That was also one of the biggest reasons he still hadn’t confidently stepped into the King Realm.
Without System rewards directly giving him techniques, insights, or improvements...
Damian was pretty sure he could spend decades staring at a martial art manual and still fail to understand half of it.
He sighed and was about to close the screen when he suddenly froze, finally realizing that something was different.
Damian leaned closer and reread the status screen, his brows slowly furrowing. "What the hell is this? I swear this wasn’t here before..."
---
[Body / Qi / Soul Foundation: Supreme Grade]
---
Damian stared at it for several seconds before pointing at the screen. "This. System, this is new, right? Care to explain why I suddenly have another slot?"
For once, the System actually answered immediately.
[Host previously questioned how far his repeated State Perfection had progressed.]
[Therefore, a Foundation Quality slot has been added for easier observation.]
Damian blinked. "So this is basically the result of all those ’Host State Being Perfected’ rewards?"
[Correct, Host.]
Damian rubbed his chin. "Alright... so Supreme Grade is how perfect my current state is?"
[More specifically, it represents the combined quality of Host’s Body Foundation, Qi Foundation, and Soul Foundation.]
Damian’s expression became more serious as the System continued explaining.
[These three foundations are among the most important factors involved in advancing from the Nascent Soul Realm into the King Realm.]
[A cultivator must refine and stabilize their body, Qi, and soul simultaneously before attempting the breakthrough.]
Damian slowly nodded. "I already knew that much. Nascent Soul cultivators need to perfect those three aspects, but what exactly does this ’quality’ mean? That’s the part I don’t understand."
[It is like this, Host. Not every cultivator possesses foundations of equal quality.]
[Physique, bloodline, spiritual root, Qi, realm, talents, injuries, opportunities, cultivation arts, and many other factors can influence the final result.]
Damian immediately understood. "So two Peak Nascent Soul cultivators could both technically perfect their foundations, but one foundation could still be way stronger than the other?"
[Correct.]
Damian looked at the status screen again before another question suddenly came to mind. "Wait a minute. You said there are three foundations, right?"
He turned back toward his status screen. "Then why the hell did you combine them into one slot instead of showing Body, Qi, and Soul separately?"
[Because upon entering the King Realm, the three foundations no longer function independently.]
[The body strengthens and contains Qi, Qi nourishes the soul, and the soul controls and refines the body.]
[Each foundation strengthens or weakens the other two, forming a continuous cycle.]
[Therefore, the System simplifies the overall stability and quality of that cycle into a single Foundation Grade.]
Damian quickly understood. "So basically, you simplified it because showing all three separately would just be troublesome."
[Correct.]
Damian’s mouth twitched, but then a thought suddenly crossed his mind and he grinned. "Hehe... since you’re feeling so talkative today, System..."
He leaned back and crossed his arms. "Why don’t you explain how the King Realm actually works? You can tell me that much, can’t you?"
[The complete explanation will require significant detail. Do you have enough time, Host?]
Damian read the message and glanced toward Cassandra, who was still sleeping peacefully beside him, completely exhausted and satisfied.
As for the two sisters in the other room, he doubted they would dare come inside.
They already knew exactly what kind of fate awaited them if they did.
Damian turned back toward the System and shrugged. "I’ve got time, so tell me everything you can. If I’m going to build a foundation, I want the best one possible."
[Understood, Host.]
The System suddenly unfolded a massive screen in front of Damian. Thankfully, it was part of his System, so no one else could see it.
Still, the sheer size of the damn thing told him one thing immediately: there was a ridiculous amount of information ahead.
Damian stared at it for a moment and sighed.
"Great. I just hope my ordinary comprehension can somehow keep up with all this shit."
