Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 333: Too Bad You’re a Man
Several minutes later, the massive cyclone finally began to weaken.
By the time the winds started dying down, the battlefield beneath it was almost unrecognizable.
The ground had been ripped apart, trees had vanished, broken weapons were scattered everywhere, and large sections of the valley had been reduced to nothing more than shattered earth and debris.
Linsey slowly lowered her hand and looked around at the destruction she had caused. "Damn..."
She tilted her head slightly. "I might’ve gone a little overboard."
A faint movement among the ruins suddenly caught her attention.
Linsey looked toward it curiously before walking closer.
At first, she assumed it was just another cultivator barely clinging to life, but once she saw the man lying among the rubble, her eyes widened behind her mask. "Whoa."
She crouched slightly. "Velcour? You’re still alive?"
Velcour was lying flat on the ruined ground.
His robes had been shredded almost completely apart, blood covered most of his body, and several ugly wounds stretched across his chest and limbs.
He could barely move.
The moment he saw Linsey approaching, whatever pride remained in his expression immediately disappeared. "Wait..."
His voice came out hoarse. "Please... spare me."
Linsey stopped in front of him.
She tilted her head and actually seemed to consider his request for several seconds.
Velcour’s eyes slowly brightened with hope. "Please... I can give you treasures. Techniques. Anything you..."
Linsey suddenly crouched beside him and waved one finger. "Hehehe... nope."
Velcour froze.
Linsey tapped the side of her mask thoughtfully. "If you were a woman, maybe I could spare you."
Velcour stared at her.
Linsey gave a helpless little shrug. "Too bad you’re a man, so..."
Velcour’s face instantly went pale. "Wait..."
Linsey casually pointed one finger downward.
High above them, the [Tempest Severing Chakram] suddenly began spinning again.
Velcour’s pupils contracted. "No! WAIT!"
WHOOOOOSH!
The enormous chakram dropped from the sky like a gigantic execution blade.
BOOOOOOM!
It slammed directly into Velcour, splitting his body in two. As if that still wasn’t enough, the chakram continued spinning around violently, tearing through what remained of him and practically mincing his body apart.
Linsey watched the dust settle before casually reaching out as the [Tempest Severing Chakram] returned to her hand. "Well, that solves that."
She rested the enormous weapon against her shoulder and began walking back toward the others.
A short while later, Linsey finally arrived at the place where Damian, Cassandra, Serina, and Miona had been waiting.
Linsey looked around in surprise. "Huh? Where’s Master?"
Cassandra casually pointed toward the distance. "He went back first to meet Cynthia and Helena."
Linsey nodded. "Oh. I see."
Cassandra then gestured toward Serina and Miona. "You can head back too. Take these two with you."
Linsey turned toward the sisters.
Miona immediately frowned. "Take us?"
Cassandra completely ignored her irritated tone. "Evelyn and I are staying here a little longer."
Her crimson-black eyes swept across the devastated battlefield. "We’re going to see what useful shit survived."
Linsey immediately understood. "Ahhh. Looting."
Cassandra gave her a flat look. "Cleanup."
Linsey laughed. "Right. Cleanup."
She glanced toward the completely ruined battlefield. "Though I wonder if anything useful is even left after what I just did."
Cassandra shrugged. "Doesn’t matter."
She stepped past Linsey and looked toward the wreckage. "Broken, damaged, half-destroyed... whatever."
Cassandra casually waved one hand. "If it looks remotely valuable, I’m bringing it back to Damian."
Linsey paused. "That actually sounds exactly like something Master would say."
"Unfortunately."
A familiar cold voice came from nearby.
Evelyn walked toward them, her [Glacial Starfall Bow] resting casually in one hand.
Linsey immediately laughed. "There you are."
Evelyn gave a small nod.
Cassandra gestured toward the ruins. "Come on. Let’s see what survived."
Evelyn glanced across the destroyed battlefield once. "Not much."
Cassandra let out an amused chuckle. "Then this won’t take long."
With that, Cassandra and Evelyn headed toward the battlefield, leaving Linsey behind with Serina and Miona.
---
Linsey casually rested the [Tempest Severing Chakram] against her shoulder and began leading Serina and Miona away from the ruined battlefield.
For a while, neither sister said anything.
Serina occasionally glanced back toward the devastated valley, while Miona walked beside her with her arms crossed, clearly still processing everything that had happened.
Eventually, Serina broke the silence. "Sister Wind Dragon."
Linsey immediately stopped and spun around, waving both hands. "Whoa, whoa. Don’t call me that outside the battlefield."
Serina paused. "Then what should I call you?"
Linsey cheerfully pointed at herself. "Just call me Sis Linsey."
Serina hesitated for a second before nodding. "Alright... Sis Linsey."
Linsey gave an approving nod and continued walking.
Miona glanced sideways at her sister but, surprisingly, kept her mouth shut.
Serina followed beside Linsey and continued, "Damian said that even if we wanted to join his harem, he would still need the consent of the other members."
Linsey nodded without hesitation. "Yep."
Serina looked genuinely surprised. "Even though he’s the master?"
"Of course," Linsey affirmed.
Linsey shifted the massive [Tempest Severing Chakram] more comfortably against her shoulder. "Master is a shameless, horny, perverted bastard."
Miona raised an eyebrow.
Linsey continued as if she had just stated something completely normal. "But he’s actually pretty good to us."
She tapped the side of her mask with one finger. "He respects us. He jokes around, acts like an idiot, and says plenty of shameless crap, but he doesn’t force us into things we don’t want."
Linsey looked back toward both sisters. "So even when it comes to adding women to his [Forbidden Immortal Harem], he doesn’t just drag whoever the hell he wants inside."
Serina slowly nodded, clearly thinking over her words.
Miona muttered, "That’s surprisingly reasonable for him."
Linsey laughed. "Right? Sometimes he almost seems respectable."
Miona gave her a strange look. "Almost?"
"Almost." Serina’s lips twitched slightly, though she quickly hid the reaction.
Linsey suddenly stopped again and looked the two sisters up and down. "Though..."
Miona immediately became suspicious. "What?"
Linsey scratched her cheek. "If you two seriously want to join, your chances are honestly pretty slim right now."
Serina raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
Linsey answered without even trying to soften it. "Because you two aren’t really that valuable."
Miona’s face instantly darkened. "What the fuck did you just say?"
Her hand almost moved toward her weapon before Serina grabbed her arm. "Miona."
Miona looked toward her sister.
Serina’s expression remained calm.
Miona clicked her tongue and forced herself to stay quiet, though the way she glared at Linsey made it obvious she wasn’t happy about it.
Linsey didn’t seem bothered in the slightest.
Serina turned back toward her. "Then what exactly do you mean by ’valuable’?"
Linsey tilted her head.
Serina continued, "Strength? Talent? Information? Connections?"
That made Linsey’s eyes brighten. "Hehehe... now you’re asking the right question."
Miona frowned. "Why does that laugh sound suspicious?"
Linsey ignored her and pointed one finger upward. "Master already has strong women around him. He has disciples, connections, resources, and plenty of people willing to follow him."
She pointed toward Serina and Miona next. "So if two more women suddenly want to join, the obvious question is... what do you two bring?"
Serina became thoughtful.
Linsey shrugged. "Right now, you’re Peak Foundation Establishment cultivators and inner disciples of the Nether Blood Moon Sect."
She paused before continuing, "That’s not bad, but it’s not that impressive either. So, honestly, it’s not that good."
Serina tightened her fingers slightly around Miona’s arm before asking, "Then what would we need to do to increase our chances?"
Linsey stopped walking, and her eyes practically lit up behind the mask. "Hehe... well, if you really want to know."
