Chapter 331: A Beautiful Icy Execution

On the other side of the battlefield, Evelyn’s fight had already begun.

Unlike Linsey, who enjoyed playing around with her opponent, Evelyn had absolutely no interest in wasting time.

The Blue Mist Sect Leader, Caelric, had barely raised his saber when Evelyn pulled back the string of her [Glacial Starfall Bow].

Three icy arrows instantly formed along the bowstring, and Evelyn released them without saying a word.

All three arrows shot forward at terrifying speed, each approaching Caelric from a different direction.

Caelric’s expression immediately changed as blue-white mist quickly appeared beneath his feet.

His body blurred before disappearing completely, allowing the three icy arrows to pierce only his afterimage.

Caelric reappeared several dozen meters away and barely had time to stabilize himself when another sharp sound reached his ears.

He looked to the side, and his expression quickly darkened. "Shit."

Six more icy arrows were already flying toward him as Evelyn clearly had no intention of giving him even a single moment to breathe.

This time, Caelric didn’t try to dodge.

He knew Evelyn had incredibly sharp eyes, so simply dodging over and over wouldn’t accomplish anything.

He tightened his grip on his mist-coated saber and violently swung it across the air.

[Blue Mist Severing Wave]

A massive crescent of condensed Mist Qi erupted from his saber and collided directly with the incoming arrows.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

All six arrows were destroyed by the wave, but at the same time, the wave itself also disappeared.

At that moment, Caelric immediately moved, intending to take advantage of the thick mist explosion created by the collision between their attacks.

He wanted to close the distance, knowing that archers were usually weaker in close-quarter combat.

Unfortunately for him, Evelyn wasn’t some ordinary archer. Even worse, both her physique and her weapon were ridiculously powerful.

Before he could say anything, however, Caelric saw Evelyn’s face suddenly twist into a grin.

He quickly looked around, and realization immediately struck him. "Goddammit!"

Each arrow embedded in the ground suddenly erupted into a massive chunk of ice, one after another.

The countless masses of ice rapidly connected together, eventually forming a huge wall around Caelric and completely sealing him inside.

He quickly turned back toward Evelyn, staring at her through the only side she had deliberately left open. "You damn bitch..."

Mist Qi violently erupted from his body, immediately filling the entire frozen enclosure.

Caelric tightened both hands around his saber. This time, he didn’t even try to escape anymore.

The woman in front of him had already predicted almost every movement he had made since the battle began.

If he continued playing according to her rhythm, he would eventually die without accomplishing anything, so he could only do one thing now.

Caelric raised his saber above his head and turned toward Evelyn. "Fine, then. Let’s not waste any more time and fucking finish this with one final attack!"

Every strand of blue-white Mist Qi surrounding Caelric suddenly rushed toward his saber.

Caelric’s saber became almost completely hidden inside a massive stream of condensed blue-white Qi.

His arms trembled under the immense force gathering inside the weapon, because this would be the strongest attack he had ever unleashed.

Caelric violently brought the saber down while roaring, "Now die, you frosty bitch!"

[Heavenly Mist Sundering Saber]

A gigantic saber light erupted forward, carrying an ocean of condensed mist behind it.

The attack ripped through Evelyn’s carefully constructed walls of ice as though they were nothing more than glass.

Evelyn watched the enormous saber light tear toward her, yet her expression didn’t change in the slightest.

She casually lifted one hand, flexed her fingers once, and slowly pulled back the string of her [Glacial Starfall Bow].

For the first time throughout the entire battle, the bow itself began glowing intensely.

Brilliant icy-blue light spread across its limbs as an enormous amount of Frost Qi gathered around Evelyn.

She locked her gaze directly onto Caelric and a faint chuckle escaped from behind her Frost Dragon mask. "Congratulations, Sect Leader Caelric."

Her fingers tightened around the bowstring. "This was actually quite enjoyable."

The surrounding temperature suddenly plummeted as Evelyn finally released her bowstring.

[Frost Dragon Shot]

A single icy arrow shot forward, and for the first few seconds, it looked completely ordinary before suddenly...

ROOOOOAAAAAR!

The arrow suddenly expanded and transformed into a fucking enormous Frost Dragon.

Its gigantic body stretched across the battlefield, covered in crystalline scales and surrounded by a raging blizzard as it charged directly toward Caelric’s attack.

Caelric’s eyes widened. "What the hell?!"

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The Frost Dragon crashed directly into [Heavenly Mist Sundering Saber].

There was barely even a struggle.

The gigantic dragon tore straight through the center of the massive saber light, ripping the condensed Mist Qi apart as if it were nothing more than a thin curtain.

Caelric’s face instantly lost all color. "No..."

He tried to escape, but unfortunately, it was already too late as the Frost Dragon’s jaws appeared directly in front of him.

Caelric barely had enough time to widen his eyes or even shout before the dragon swallowed him whole.

CRUNCH!

His figure disappeared completely inside the massive Frost Dragon.

The creature continued flying through the sky for several hundred meters before finally exploding into a gigantic storm of ice and snow.

BOOOOOOM!

Frozen mist spread across half the battlefield as Caelric’s body completely dissolved into a beautiful cloud of icy mist.

Evelyn slowly lowered her [Glacial Starfall Bow] before calmly turning around and walking back toward Damian and the others.

Her expression remained completely composed, as though she hadn’t just killed a sect leader.

Before leaving, she glanced toward Linsey’s battlefield. "I’ll leave the rest to you, Linsey."
