Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 328: Treasure Negotiation Goes Violent
The cultivators of the Blue Mist Sect and Nether Blood Moon Sect didn’t answer Linsey immediately.
Most of them were still staring in shock at the shattered remains of the elder Evelyn had just killed.
A Golden Core elder had rushed forward confidently, only to die before he could even touch Linsey.
That was enough to make everyone hesitate.
Linsey waited several seconds before tilting her head. "No one?"
She looked around at the silent battlefield before placing one hand proudly against her waist. "Hehehe. It seems you’re all too scared now that you’ve realized how powerful I am."
Several cultivators’ faces twitched.
Linsey completely ignored their reactions and clapped her hands once. "Great! That makes things easier."
She gestured impatiently toward both sides. "Now hurry up and give me something valuable so I can leave your stupid war alone."
Several elders immediately frowned.
Linsey raised one finger and tapped it against the side of her mask as though seriously considering how much she should demand. "Hmmm..."
Her eyes suddenly brightened. "How about seventy percent of each sect’s treasury?"
The entire battlefield went silent again before, suddenly, both sides exploded at once.
"SEVENTY PERCENT?!"
"You fucking lunatic!"
"Does this bitch think we’re idiots?!"
"Just kill this bitch! We have the numbers!"
For perhaps the first time since the war began, the Blue Mist Sect and Nether Blood Moon Sect completely agreed on something.
Linsey had to die.
Several Golden Core elders immediately rushed toward her from different directions, temporarily ignoring each other as killing intent erupted throughout the sky.
Linsey’s eyes lit up behind her mask. "Hehehe... good."
She reached toward the enormous [Tempest Severing Chakram] hovering beside her and grabbed its edge. "Now I can finally play around."
Linsey suddenly twisted her waist and spun her entire body multiple times before suddenly grinning. "Now go!"
WHOOOOOOOSH!
Violent Wind Qi gathered around the enormous circular weapon as Linsey released the chakra.
The [Tempest Severing Chakram] tore through the battlefield like an enormous flying saw, wrapped inside a spiraling tornado.
The first Golden Core cultivator immediately raised his weapon with both hands.
Qi erupted around his sword as he planted himself firmly in the air. "COME!"
CLAAAAANG!
His sword collided directly with the chakram, and for half a second, he actually managed to stop it.
But then his expression suddenly changed. "What the?!"
CRACK!
His sword snapped cleanly in half.
The cultivator barely had time to look down at his broken weapon before the enormous chakram tore directly through his waist.
His body separated into two pieces, blood spraying across the air as both halves fell toward the battlefield below.
Even that wasn’t enough to noticeably slow the [Tempest Severing Chakram], and it simply continued tearing through the sky.
Another elder saw it approaching and immediately moved aside. "You think I’m stupid enough to block that?!"
He twisted his body and dodged several meters away from its path.
For a moment, he thought he had escaped, but to his surprise, the chakram suddenly curved.
The elder’s eyes widened. "What?! You’ve got to be kidding me!"
The massive weapon changed direction in midair and chased after him.
He tried to accelerate again, but it was already too late as the chakram sliced straight through his waist before continuing its journey through the sky.
Nearby cultivators hurriedly scattered in every direction.
"Move! Get the hell away from that thing!"
"Don’t let it touch you!"
Linsey watched them panic with obvious amusement.
She simply lifted one hand and curled her fingers toward herself. "Come back, baby."
The chakram immediately curved through the air and began flying back toward her.
Unfortunately for Linsey’s attackers, several elders had already used that opportunity to surround her.
One Blue Mist Sect elder appeared directly behind her, sword already thrusting toward her back.
At the same moment, two Nether Blood Moon Sect cultivators attacked from her left and right.
Linsey glanced around, and rather than panicking, she laughed. "Hey, hey. Aren’t you guys forgetting something?"
The three attackers frowned, but the moment Linsey pointed behind them, her grin widened. "My baby’s coming back."
One of the cultivators immediately sneered. "Then we just need to kill you before it returns."
Hearing that, Linsey chuckled and snapped her fingers. The returning chakram suddenly split directly down the middle.
The enormous circular weapon transformed into two crescent-shaped blades, and each crescent immediately shot off in opposite directions.
"Shit!" cursed the two Nether Blood Moon cultivators on either side as they hurriedly tried to defend themselves, but they were too slow and far too weak.
SLASH!
Both crescent blades ripped directly through them, sending blood spraying through the air.
The Blue Mist Sect elder behind Linsey had already committed to his attack, thrusting his blade toward her back.
Linsey only chuckled and casually twisted sideways, letting the blade pass beside her waist and surprising the elder.
She didn’t stop there. Linsey immediately hooked one arm around his neck. "Got you. Now let’s make this more interesting."
She twisted her body and used her other arm to completely lift him off the ground.
The elder’s eyes widened. "What the fuck?!"
The two crescent blades that had just killed the cultivators on either side suddenly curved back toward Linsey.
The elder noticed them, and his face quickly went pale. "Wait a minute! Just let me down, you bitch!"
Linsey glanced upward and grinned. "Nope."
BOOOOOOM!
Both halves of the [Tempest Severing Chakram] crashed into the elder’s body from opposite directions while Linsey held him firmly in place.
Blood and shattered flesh exploded through the air, but none of it managed to dirty Linsey thanks to the protective Wind Qi surrounding her body.
Linsey released what remained of him and casually stepped away as the two crescent blades flew past her.
They circled once before reconnecting behind her, then returned neatly into Linsey’s hand.
Blood drifted through the air around her as she looked over the remaining cultivators gathering at a much safer distance.
A playful laugh escaped from behind her mask as Linsey tilted her head. "Hehehe... now, do you guys really still want to fight me?"
Linsey lightly tapped the edge of her chakram with one finger. "Because, you know... I’m not even serious yet. I’m just playing around."
The other cultivators shuddered upon hearing her.
