Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 303: The Festival Becomes a Massacre

Aldren watched the terrifying aura gathering around Cassandra and suddenly burst into laughter.

He spread his arms arrogantly. "Hahahaha! Fine then, Cassandra. I’ll be generous. I’ll let you do whatever the fuck you want as your final act of mercy."

Several Valehart elders immediately laughed along with him.

With the [Eight Radiant Sword Sealing Formation] suppressing Cassandra, none of them believed she could possibly reverse the situation anymore.

Cassandra stared at Aldren in silence before a strange smile slowly appeared on her face. "Thank you. In that case..."

Cassandra slowly raised her sword and glanced around at the cultivators who still refused to leave. "Let’s turn this into a real festival."

Before anyone could understand what she meant, Cassandra opened her hand and let the sword fall.

Yet instead of stabbing into the arena floor or bouncing away, the entire sword suddenly dissolved into countless streams of crimson light.

Aldren’s laughter slowly faded. "What the hell are you doing?"

Cassandra didn’t answer. Instead, she spread her arms slightly and slowly closed her eyes.

For the first time, the aura surrounding her no longer resembled Sword Qi as it felt like something far more sinister.

As the crimson light from her dissolved sword continued swirling around her, Cassandra finally activated the forbidden art she had prepared.

[Forbidden Art: Demonic Queen’s Blood-Birth Festival]

A terrifying aura suddenly erupted.

The ground beneath Cassandra cracked apart as crimson light burst from the fissures, violently tearing through even the surrounding formations.

Black-red threads spread across the entire area like living roots, twisting and crawling as though they were searching for prey.

Several cultivators who had stubbornly refused to leave were suddenly caught by the threads.

"ARGHHH!"

"What the fuck is happening?!"

Every cultivator caught by the black-red threads had their life essence forcibly drained from their bodies.

Every trace of vitality they lost was immediately transferred toward Cassandra.

Aldren’s expression finally changed.

He quickly shouted, "Stop her! I don’t know what the hell she’s done, but this demonic art must be stopped before our entire family is decimated!"

Unfortunately, it was already too late.

The forbidden art could no longer be stopped simply by killing Cassandra.

In fact, Cassandra’s own body had already begun deteriorating alongside everyone else.

Her skin rapidly grew pale, while several strands of her dark hair slowly turned white. Her life force was burning away at a terrifying speed.

Forbidden arts were called forbidden arts for a reason, and every one of them came with a terrible price.

And for [Demonic Queen’s Blood-Birth Festival], that price was the caster’s own life.

The screams quickly spread throughout the entire festival grounds.

"HELP!"

"Patriarch Aldren!"

"GET THESE FUCKING THINGS OFF ME!"

It didn’t matter whether they were Qi Refinement cultivators, Foundation Establishment cultivators, Golden Core elders, or even Nascent Soul experts.

Once the black-red threads attached themselves to their bodies, their life force began disappearing at a horrifying rate.

One cultivator desperately severed his own arm to escape.

Yet another crimson thread immediately pierced through his chest. "NO!"

Within seconds, his body collapsed.

Everything inside him was absorbed into the [Demonic Queen’s Blood-Birth Festival].

More cultivators began falling.

One after another.

The smaller factions that had stubbornly remained behind finally understood just how fucking stupid they had been.

"I should’ve listened..."

"She warned us!"

"Why the fuck didn’t we run?!"

Regret filled their faces, but unfortunately, regret meant nothing now.

The forbidden art had already sealed the entire festival grounds.

At this point, only someone possessing strength comparable to a King Grade cultivator could forcibly destroy the forbidden domain from the outside.

But there was no such person here.

Aldren roared and repeatedly slashed at the crimson threads.

[Radiant Sunfall Sword]

BOOOOM!

Hundreds of the black-red threads were destroyed, yet thousands more immediately emerged to replace them, causing Aldren’s head to ache. "What kind of fucking technique is this?!"

Even with his Nascent Soul cultivation, he could feel his life essence being slowly drained away.

That was when genuine fear finally appeared on Aldren’s face.

Cassandra stood quietly in the center of everything.

Around her, cultivators continued collapsing as rivers of crimson energy flowed into the enormous demonic formation.

Yet Cassandra herself was growing weaker and weaker. She could feel her strength rapidly fading, and she knew she might die at any moment.

"So this is really how it ends..."

Strangely, she wasn’t afraid. She had already accomplished most of what she had come here to do.

The two families that had destroyed her life would soon disappear along with her.

There was only one thing she truly regretted, her promise to Damian that she would join his so-called harem group after his death.

A faint, sorrowful smile appeared on her face. "I’m sorry, Damian. It looks like I won’t be able to keep my promise after all."

Cassandra slowly raised her eyes toward the sky. "If there really is another life... I’ll find you."

Her smile became a little more bitter. "And this time... I’ll apologize properly."

Cassandra’s eyelids slowly began to close.

Suddenly, a figure appeared directly in front of her, startling her awake.

She had never expected that someone would actually enter the [Demonic Queen’s Blood-Birth Festival], much less reach her without being immediately consumed.

She forced her blurred eyes open, and the moment she saw who it was, she froze in shock. "Damian? Is that really you?"

Damian immediately grabbed her shoulders. "Yes, yes, it’s me. Damian. Very alive."

Cassandra’s eyes widened, joy and disbelief flooding across her face. "You’re... alive..."

Damian quickly moved closer to her. "Less talking. We need to get the fuck out of here, fast."

Cassandra’s happiness immediately faded. She weakly shook her head. "I’m sorry... I can’t."

Damian’s expression changed. "Why?"

Her voice grew quieter. "Because I already activated the Forbidden Art... and the price is my own life."

Damian frowned deeply. He had expected something like this, but he had never imagined the price would be that severe. "So you’re really just going to fucking die like this?"

Cassandra nodded bitterly.

Damian frowned again, then fell silent for a moment as a thought crossed his mind. "What was your Forbidden Art called again?"

Cassandra hesitated before answering. "It’s called [Demonic Queen’s Blood-Birth Festival]."

Damian blinked. "Birth Festival... and your Forbidden Art absorbs everyone..."

He turned back to Cassandra, his expression sharpening. "That doesn’t sound like a technique designed just to kill you."

Damian grabbed her by the shoulders. "Tell me exactly how this fucking art works."

Cassandra stared at him, biting her lip as uncertainty flickered across her face. She couldn’t decide whether she should tell him or keep silent.
