Villain: Your Heroines Were Delicious

Chapter 194 - 59

Chapter 194: Chapter 59

“Good, good,” Mister murmured, his voice a wet, heavy rumble that seemed to vibrate through the damp concrete of the basement.

He watched with a gluttonous satisfaction as the Kurosaki women were unloaded from the truck.

Some of the younger cousins and aunts moved with trembling limbs, huddled together, while two of the more resilient women provided a steadying anchor for Erina, whose wheelchair had been lowered to the ground.

“Everyone has already gathered in my office,” Mister continued, a greasy smear of a smile crossing his face. “The Inner Circle is hungry. We can begin the feast at any time. The wine is decanted, and the appetites are sharp. Now, drag them to the—”

“Mister!”

Just then, a sharp, panicked cry cut through the air, interrupting him.

Mister’s brow furrowed into deep, fatty ridges of irritation as he turned his massive head slowly, his eyes narrowing into slits.

“What!?” he roared, his voice echoing like thunder in the subterranean space. “Whoever is interrupting me better have a damn good reason. And by good reason, someone better be raiding our territory, or else you will suffer consequences that make death look like a mercy!”

“Someone is raiding us!” the man shouted.

He was a low-level guard, his uniform torn and his face pale with terror all the while panting heavily, his chest heaving as he stumbled toward the group.

The air in the basement went cold.

Not only Mister, but even Kirei and Mr. Roriko stared with eyes widened in genuine shock.

The “Mister’s” operation had been a ghost for years, a shadow that neither the law nor the Church could pin down…now, they are being raided!?

How is that possible!?

“Is it the police?” Mister demanded, taking a heavy step forward that made the ground tremble. “The Grand Order? Or the Church!? Speak, you coward!”

The guard shook his head frantically, his eyes darting toward the elevator as if fearing what was coming behind him. “We… we don’t know, Mister! They aren’t professional hunters from the Grand Order nor the Inquisitors from the church! They… they are just a bunch of teenagers!”

“Teenagers? How fucking useless!” Mister’s leg shot out with surprising speed, his heavy boot catching the guard in the stomach.

The man groaned in agony, his breath leaving him in a sharp wheeze as he was knocked prone onto the hard concrete.

“You couldn’t even handle a pack of school-aged brats!? What use are you to me? What use is the power I gave you!?”

“M-Mister! You don’t understand!” the man gasped, clutching his midsection. “They… they seem to possess supernatural powers! One of them, a boy wearing a shades, he punched a hole clean through solid concrete and broke the captain’s ribs like a piece of stick!”

Mister’s eyes narrowed into dangerous pinpricks as a dark realization began to settle in his gut.

’Could it be that Yumanbi really did reveal information about us before he was snuffed out?’ he wondered. ’Tsk, that brat. Not only did he make me lose a valuable fragment of the Void, but he led these people straight to our hive!’

He turned toward Kirei and Roriko, his expression turning stone-cold. “The two of you, let’s go. Leave these women here for now. We have guards enough to keep them pinned. We need to deal with these intruders before they reach the main hall. If they see too much, our group will be compromised.”

Mister turned and lumbered toward the industrial elevator, the heavy cables groaning under his immense weight.

Mr. Roriko stayed behind for a second, turning toward the cowering guard on the floor.

“You,” he rasped, his voice like dry parchment. “Make sure no one escapes from this basement. If even one of these porcelain dolls is missing when we return, you’ll be the main dish at our next celebration. I’ll carve the meat from your bones myself while you watch.”

With that chilling promise, he followed after Mister.

Kirei lingered the longest as he stared at Akane, who remained as indifferent and regal as ever despite her bound wrists.

He searched for a flicker of fear or triumph in her eyes, but he found nothing but a void, so he said nothing, adjusted his tie, and hurried after Roriko and Mister.

“What the fuck is this place?”

Sakai’s voice sounded as soft as a whisper while he was holding an unconscious guard by the collar, a man he had just beaten into a bloody pulp, but his attention was fixed on the room they had just breached.

Inside, several women lay huddled on grimy mattresses; they were fully naked, their bodies covered in bruises and branding marks, their eyes glazed over with a hollow, broken stare.

They didn’t even flinch when the door was kicked in.

Seijirou stood in the hallway, his brow furrowed as his Ki flared in agitation as he tried to search his memory, to recall this specific incident from the “game” he had played before he transmigrated into this world.

There was nothing.

The plot of the game had focused on high school drama and localized supernatural battles, but it had never touched upon a depravity of this scale.

The bad endings were pretty much just implications, and weren’t explicitly stated nor shown.

’Tsk, as expected,’ he thought grimly. ’My knowledge of this world is officially useless.’

“It’s not just here,” Yukina said, stepping back into the hall from an adjacent room as her face was a mask of absolute disgust. “Every single room on this floor… it’s the same. Girls being used like dolls. Broken and trained to be nothing but objects to release a man’s filthiest desires.”

Yukina was a pervert in her own right—she was the first to admit she enjoyed the darker side of passion—but this was different.

These girls wasn’t given a choice, but were forced to a systematic destruction of the human soul, something that made her stomach turn.

“How disgusting,” Emi muttered, her hands glowing with a violent, flickering light.

Suzune remained silent, her jaw set so tight her facial muscles were twitching, her red eyes were burning with a cold, righteous fury that threatened to boil over.

Suddenly, a violent, retching sound echoed through the metal hallway.

Everyone turned.

There, they saw Renji stumbling out of a room at the end of the corridor, his face a ghostly shade of green.

He hit the wall with his shoulder, sliding down until he was on one knee, gasping for air.

The group immediately hurried toward him.

And Sakai angrily entered to the room he just came from, wanting to avenge his friend.

“Renji! What happened?” Seijirou asked, grabbing his friend’s shoulder to steady him.

“Boss… Urgh… humans… those are humans!” Renji roared, his eyes were bloodshot and brimming with tears of rage as a string of saliva and bile dripped from his mouth as he struggled not to vomit again. “They are eating humans! Boss! Inside there!”

“Uarghhs!”

Another retching sound followed as Sakai suddenly came stumbling out of the same room.

He didn’t even make it to the wall as he immediately dropped to all fours on the floor, heaving as his dinner hit the ground.

Seeing that reaction, along with Renji’s words, the group finally realized the gravity of the situation.

Without hesitation, the group pushed past them and entered the room, and the sight that greeted them was a violation of every human instinct.

It was a kitchen.

But not for any food known to civilization, no, but a kitchen for the only intelligent life form that dominated the planet.

Human skins were stretched and hung from meat hooks like drying laundry.

Human torsos were laid out on massive, blood-stained chopping boards.

Human arms and legs are being chopped, with a cleaver still stuck on one of the human thighs.

In a corner, a pile of human faces, hair still attached, lay discarded like scraps, and on the side counters, neat piles of red meat were organized by “cut.”

At the back of the room, looking fearful but still holding their knives, stood a head chef and several assistants in white aprons stained with old, brown blood.

“This….”

“The hell…?”

Simultaneously, the group felt their stomachs churn.

The smell of a cloying, sweet rot was unbearable for their nose and stomach as they all doubled over, barfing their dinner onto the floor.

Even Seijirou, who prided himself on his absolute, icy composure, couldn’t stomach the sight of such industrialized slaughter.

His knees felt weak for the first time in his life!

“Humans… those are humans…” Emi whispered, her eyes turning blank and glassy.

The reality of the world she had entered was far darker than she had ever imagined.

“These people… they deserve to rot in hell…” Yukina said, her face pale, her voice a low, lethal hiss.

Shou, usually the most stoic and unshakeable of the group, was physically shaking, his hands were clenched so hard his nails were drawing blood from his palms.

Even Suzune can only stay silent, her face pale as she keep gagging, as if trying to scoop out all the food in her stomach.

Seijirou’s phone, mounted on his gear and connected to Haruka who was monitoring the building’s layout from the outside, began to beep insistently.

“Seijirou? What happened? Your vitals are spiking,” Haruka’s voice came through the speaker, sounding tinny and far away. “The primary targets have already gathered at the highest point of the building, the penthouse office. You need to move. If you stay there, you’ll be surrounded.”

Seijirou remained silent, or rather, he couldn’t even hear Haruka’s words.

“They… they deserve to die.”

Yukina stood up, wiping the bile from her lips with the back of her hand, and under the stunned eyes of her friends, she turned and walked back into the room with the butchers.

Out of everyone in the group, Yukina was the only one who had ever truly taken a life.

She had done it once before out of pure desperation, and that single act had changed the color of her soul.

Now, that darkness was rising to the surface, fueled by a visceral, protective rage.

“I will… kill them all,” Yukina muttered, her eyes were completely devoid of emotion, turning into twin abysses of black intent as she looked at the trembling chef. “Every single one of them.”
