Chapter 449
Chapter 449
“He’s so cute!” Feifei could not help herself but say when the little black cub playfully started licking her face.
“He’s the best,” Rebecca, who was sitting by her side, brightly said, and the way Void responded with a cute yelp nearly melted Feifei’s heart.
“You are better than Eira.” The girl suddenly said, grinning, and laughed when the little cub positively responded with another yelp and she heard an annoyed bark from the wolf.
The rest of the girls were all gushing over Eira, the majestic wolf who had only allowed Rebecca to touch her, and they were still trying to coax her into letting them pet her as well.
However, Eira just would not allow anyone other than Rouxi, Keith, and Rebecca to lay their hands on her.
Both Rouxi and Fefei were quite shocked when the white she-wolf did not resist Rebecca’s touches, but now they both pretty much understood that Eira was a prideful creature who would only allow the Divine to touch her.
The two Magical Creatures also did not seem to get along well with each other. The moment they met, they growled at each other, and it was also the moment that both Rouxi and Feifei learned that the she-wolf was actually a Magical Beast.
When the two Beasts faced off against each other, black fumes of darkness started emanating from Void’s body, and in response, the floor under Eira’s paws started freezing up.
Everyone was surprised at what was happening, except for Keith, Rebecca, and Qingyue, and it was not until Keith stepped in and seriously warned the two Beasts to behave themselves that they stopped gauging each other.
“How strong is he?” Feifei curiously asked, and everyone in the room perked up their ears and looked their way.
“Strong enough to kill a group of Aurors who have reached the limits of this world,” The blonde smiled at her. “Eira’s currently weaker than Void, but not by much.”
“Wow!”
“Awoooo!” The wolf immediately howled in a complaint, and Rebecca giggled at her reaction.
“Void has been feeding off our Aura and Mana, which is the only reason why he’s stronger right now. We will fix your diet and you will grow faster too.” She gently said, and laughed some more when the prideful wolf responded with a small and shy bark.
Rouxi smiled when she sensed that Eira was a little excited about what Rebecca had just told them.
“How can I feed her with Mana and Aura?” She asked. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
“You can’t. Not yet.” The blonde shook her head. “You haven’t unlocked your Mana yet, and you will need an affinity to the same Primary Element that Eira possess, which is Ice, and if not Ice, then Wind or Water. Light and Darkness work with all Elements.”
“Void has Darkness as his Element?” Feifei curiously asked.
“Yes.” Rebecca smiled.
“You have it too?”
“Yes.” She smiled when she saw the girl frowning.
“Isn’t Darkness associated with evil?”
The sudden question caught everyone by surprise, and then little Helena, together with Amira and Reina, started laughing.
“It is!” The young Mourntale nodded her head.
“Most Heaven Realms are quite prejudiced against those who possess an affinity to Darkness.” Amira too nodded her head. “And they are not exactly wrong either since most people who possess Darkness as their Element are crazy, cruel, and cold-hearted,” Reina added.
“Hey, was that a dig at me?” Rebecca playfully narrowed her eyes and the twins started laughing at her words.
“Elements represent a person’s personality?”
“Yes,” Rebecca nodded her head, and Feifei immediately looked towards Iseul.
“You have Darkness too?”
Her question made some frown, and Rebecca narrowed her eyes at the girl, quite surprised in her heart.
“Yes,” Iseul nodded her head as she harmlessly smiled.
“It also depends on the Race of the person,” The blonde suddenly said. “Iseul isn’t human. And it’s extremely rare for lesser races to possess either Darkness or Light.” She added, much to Feifei’s surprise. “Ayesha and Nana are not human either, and they both possess affinities to Darkness as well. The races that have a natural affinity to Darkness are less likely to suffer the consequences of having said Element as their Primary Element. There’s very little chance of them losing their minds. However, yes, the people with an affinity to Darkness are all very dangerous, and it is only fair that others feel threatened by them. Darkness is, after all, one of the two Origin Elements.”
“Oh… What Element do I have?” She curiously asked.
“Fire, for sure.” Rebecca smiled. “If you possess one more Primal Element, then there’s a chance that you possess and can possess an Advanced Element as well.”
“Primal Element?”
“Darkness and Light are Origin Elements, all the Elements come from them. Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Lightning are the five Primal Elements, and every living being has an affinity to, at least, one of them.” Rebecca informed her. “Advanced Elements come when a person possesses, at least, two Primal Elements, or if they Possess one or both of the Origin Elements.”
“What are they?” She nodded her head in understanding and curiously asked.
“Sand, Glass, Crystal, Rock, Mud, Steam, Magma, Metal, Ice, Wood, Smoke, Plasma, and Poison.”
“Poison?” Rouxi frowned.
“It is a special Element, and an extremely rare one. Poison can take the form of either flame or miasma, and It could be classified as a Primary Element too, but isn’t. And that’s because only someone with an affinity to one or both of Darkness and Light, plus Fire, can naturally possess it or attain it. Had it not required an affinity to Fire, it would have been classified as a Primary Element.”
“What does it do?” Feifei curiously asked.
“It can corrupt, and it can heal. But it is mostly looked upon as the Element of Death.” The blonde smiled. “Qingyue was born with the Element of Poison.”
Her words widened their eyes.
“How many Elements can a normal person possess?”
“One.” It was Nana who answered, and the answer caught both Feifei and Rouxi by surprise.
“Just one?”
“Yes.” Rebecca nodded to Feifei. “But if you are talking about our normal, which is actually on the spectrum of highly to extremely talented,” She giggled. “One can possess three or four Elements on average.”
“Oh. Which Elements do you have?” Feifei curiously asked, and Rebecca grinned at her.
“I have Darkness, Lightning, and a few more,” She answered and then stood up, “I will go check up on Keith.”
“She has Fire too.” Zoey, who had been silently listening to the conversation, smiled and informed Feifei. “I have it as well.”
“We have Wood!” Amira and Reina spoke in unison.
“So, you must have Water and Earth too?” Rouxi curiously looked at them, and the Twins brightly smiled and nodded their heads.
“Yes!”
The girls in the lounge continued chatting with each other whilst Rebecca arrived outside the room where Keith was sitting with Qingyue and Amelia.
“You never told me what’s special about Feifei,” She spoke as soon as she entered, and her husband, who was playing chess with Amelia, smiled at her words.
“She is special.” He said as he made his move on the board.
“Of course, she is. I saw the pendant of the Yellow Emperor on her neck.” She came over and took a look at the board before sitting by Qingyue’s side. “So, what’s special about her?” She asked her sister-wife, who grinned at her.
“What’s your guess?” The grey-eyed girl asked back.
“She seems to be able to tell the innate nature of people. Unless, of course, she has seen Iseul show her other side…”
Qingyue’s mouth slightly dropped open at her words in shock, amazed at how she could figure it out in one meeting, and Rebecca immediately caught onto her reaction.
“So, she can sense the innate nature of people.” She grinned.
“Yes.” The grey-eyed girl nodded her head. “She can also sense the emotions and intentions of a person.”
And it was Rebecca’s turn to be surprised.
“I see.” She nodded and then smiled when she saw her sister-wife make a signal with her eyes.
“Keith.”
“Yes?” He curiously looked at his blonde wife.
“Qingyue feels that you are taking things very fast with Rouxi and Feifei.” She said and ignored the glare from her girl whom she had just sold out. “I feel the same way.” She said, and then all three of his wives looked at him.
“You have been feeling a little off too lately.” Qingyue lightly said and did not shy away from her eyes when he looked into them.
“So, you called them here to corner me?” He chuckled, and his dear Yue grinned at him.
“Yes. Now, tell us what’s going on?”
Keith looked into Rebecca and Amelia’s eyes and saw them both waiting for an answer as well and then he turned his eyes to the board.
“Keith,” His grey-eyed wife sternly called out his name, but he remained silent for a good minute before he made his move on the board.
“We don’t have much time.” He said, making them all raise their brows at him. “Leilah is one of the founders of the Tian Pantheon.”
“Who?” The blonde frowned.
“Wuji, the Goddess of Infinity.”
“What?” She at him in disbelief, and he nodded his head, confirming all the outrageous thoughts that were crossing her mind now.
“Yes. She came to see me in Iceland.” He said and then sank back into his seat. “Rouxi is Nuwa’s Inheritor, and Leilah wants to send her to the Heavens to deal with some important things that concern their Pantheon.”
The three girls stayed silent at his words, lost in their thoughts, and Qingyue was the only one who seemed agitated.
“How long do we have?” Rebecca asked.
“A month, at least.” He smiled.
“So, nearly a year in Aerzaar.”
“Yes.”
“And when are we going to leave Gaia?” She asked again.
“I need to train all of you and deal with a few things. It will take, at least, a year. We are not leaving until everyone has reached the Completion of Primal Desolation. Everyone.” He made it clear to them, and all three of them nodded their heads.
“How long will it be before we see them again?”
“For us? Maybe a decade or two. Probably more.” He lightly smiled, but it was clear to them that he was not smiling. “For them? Could be a hundred years or more. Time flows differently in Isolated Worlds. It flows slightly differently in the Heaven and the Lower Heaven as well. Leilah told me that I will see them again when we arrive in Heaven.”
“Keith…” Qingyue anxiously called out his name.
“They will be fine, Yue.” He looked into her eyes and smiled. “I am not really worried about their safety.”
“Feifei will be sad…” She whispered.
“I know.” He sighed and then smiled at them. “Don’t tell them just yet. I want them focused on their training.”
“We understand,” Rebecca spoke on their behalf and then gently squeezed Qingyue’s hand, comforting her.
