Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 423

Chapter 423

“He will be fine in a few weeks.”

Keith smiled at the young man who was lying unconsciously on the table in front of him.

This young man was none other than the Grandson of Wei Sheng, who had been paralysed after an unfortunate accident a year ago, and the reason why the Wei Family was willing to spend any amount to save him.

They had already tried everything they could and had even asked some of the most renowned Aura Doctors in the world, including the Mir of Pahalgam and even the Arya of Dehradun.

After everyone failed, they tried to contact Keith. They first reached for him nine months ago through the Royal Medical Association but failed to get hold of him, and they have been trying to reach him for months now.

Keith was of course aware of it, but he had not responded to them. It was only after his plans changed that he decided to cash on them earlier than he had intended.

“Thank you, Master Demiliore!” A middle-aged woman, who had tears trailing down her cheeks, sincerely bowed to him, trying her best to keep her composure.

She was the child’s mother, and no one in this room could ever be more grateful to Keith than she was right now. Then again, a mother’s love for her child was very special.

Even though her son had not woken up yet, she did not doubt his words, and neither did anyone else in the room.

They had already been told by the Mir of Pahalgam that Keith would succeed in curing their son, and so they had complete faith in his ability. The old man and his son even knew about Keith’s status as a Mortal God. So, they had even less reason to doubt his ability.

Wei Zong, who was Wei Sheng’s eldest child, and the head of the Wei Business, stepped forward to thank Keith for saving his son.

It had been a hard year for their family, but he was now relieved that everything was going to be fine. His son would be able to walk and be normal again, and it was more than anything he could have ever asked for.

Wei Zong had already handed over the property deeds to Keith as soon as he arrived here, and the man had flown overnight from Shanghai together with his wife, just to hand over these documents and to see his child get treated.

He had refused his niece when she had approached him regarding the property in Hangzhou, but when Wei Sheng told him what Keith needed, he did not even hesitate to hand it over to him.

The Official Work still needed to be processed, but Wei Zong had promised that he would handle it all. And he had refused to take a single penny for it.

“Please, excuse me,” Keith said to them after they all expressed their gratitude, and he left the old man Wei Sheng and his family to talk with each other, deciding to head towards his suite at the Royal Inn.

They had booked it last evening after they had their supper here.

It had been a long night for him, but he was glad that everything had gone smoothly and now he could leave for the Road Trip right away.

He knew very well that Qingyue was looking forward to spending some time with him, and it would be unfair if he did not give it to her.

When he entered his room, he could not help but smile at finding his beautiful wife peacefully sleeping in his bed. He had told her that he would be late, and Qingyue had gone to bed when he did not return by midnight, which he was glad about.

The sun was already up, but Keith decided to let her sleep some more and get himself some sleep as well. Therefore, after changing into something light, he entered the bed and draped his arm over her body, hugging her as he drifted off to his dreamland.

Qingyue’s eyes briefly opened when she sensed him, but then she just leaned into his warmth and fell back asleep, this time, with a happy smile on her lips.

It was nearly noon when the two of them woke up, and then they headed straight to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready for the day.

However, they ended up spending more time than they probably should have, but neither of them minded it.

Qingyue rolled her eyes when Ayesha gave her a knowing glance, but no one raised any question as to why they were so late.

After a sumptuous lunch at the Continental Restaurant of the Inn, all of them were ready for their trip.

“So, where are we heading first?” Keith asked as he watched his dear wife curiously look at the map.

He had left her in charge of the Trip, so, wherever they go would be her call, and she was seemingly very excited about it.

The sound systems of the two Cars were connected, so the girls who were inside the SUV were discussing the places that they had researched last night, and Qingyue was listening to their suggestions. Well, it was mostly Ayesha and Iseul who gave their suggestions and Yingying and Fiona simply agreed with them.

“I think we should go to Moun Tai first, so, our Destination for the day would be Taian.” She decided, and the girls agreed to it.

“There’s a small Sect hidden in the mountains there. It is a Sect where only Females are allowed.” Iseul informed them.

“We will check it out.” Qingyue nodded her head. “Also, once we enter Zhejiang, we will explore the province first before heading to Hangzhou.” She looked at Keith and said, and he nodded to her with a smile.

“Your call.” He shrugged, eliciting a laugh from her, and then she started driving towards their destination.

The first two hours of the journey were quite fun, and under Iseul and Qingyue’s insistence, Keith even joined them in singing.

Fiona was pleasantly amazed at finding that he could sing so well, and this gave the girls another excuse to make him sing some more.

When he was done, he turned the tables on them and made Ayesha sing for them, and the girl regretted forcing him earlier.

She was quite nervous as she believed she was not good at it, but even she was a little amazed at her own ability when she finished a simple song and Fiona honestly praised her.

“You have gotten better,” Iseul commented, and Qingyue agreed with her words and praised Ayesha as well.

However, it only left the girl more confused. She had not even practised it, but she had someone gotten better at singing. It was quite strange.

Ayesha concluded that her ability was likely a result of whatever Keith did to her and Nana, but she kept quiet for now and decided to ask him about it later.

In the last few months, she had discovered a lot of things about herself, and they had left her with a lot of questions as well.

The group was halfway to their destination when Keith received a call, and Qingyue caught a slight smile on his lips when he looked at the unknown number.

“Yes, Miss Qin?” He lightly asked as soon as he picked up the call, and there was a long pause after it.

The girl on the other end was not expecting him to know that it was her number, and she was a little surprised, but more than anything, she did not know why she fell into a trance and her heart started beating in an unknown rhythm.

“Master Keith.”

A cold yet soft and polite voice entered his ear, and the smile on his face brightened a little. However, he did not say anything and waited for the girl to get to the point.

“I would like to discuss cooperation with you regarding the land that you have recently acquired.” And as he had expected, she did not hesitate about what she wanted.

“So, the news has reached you.”

“Yes.”

“Get some sleep, Miss Qin. You need it.” He mysteriously said, and even though he could not see her, he could guess that she was frowning at his words right now. “I will see you in Hangzhou in a few days.” He said and ended the call, making Qingyue quizzically look at him.

“That was rather cold.” freewēbnoveℓ.com

“She would not mind.” He chuckled.

“How do you know that?”

“I just know.” He shrugged at her question and then chuckled when he met her eyes. “You have something on your mind?”

He curiously raised his brow when she muted the audio link between the two cars, and her next words surprised him a little.

“I want her.”

“What?”

“She’s special, isn’t she?” She seriously asked, and Keith smiled a little.

“She is.” He nodded. “However, she is not someone you can take under your wing, my dear Wife.”

“Why not?” She frowned.

“She will be your future sister-wife, that’s why.” He told her, taking her by surprise.

“Is she that special?” Qingyue started feeling a little restless in her heart, and when he nodded his head again, she subconsciously furrowed her brows. “Is she like me?”

“No one is like you, Yue.” He clearly told her. “However, yes, she does possess a very powerful Physique. And she’s also a True Inheritor of a Goddess who was immensely respected by the Divine.”

“Who?”

“Nuwa.”

“The Chinese Goddess of Nature?” She frowned some more, feeling a little more restless.

“The Tian Goddes of Nature.” He nodded to her.

There was silence after he answered her, and a minute later, Qingyue restored the audio link.

However, for the rest of their destination, she did not speak again, and it confused the girls.
