Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 407

Chapter 407

The little bravery and coldness that Alana had mustered up, which was, in fact, a defence mechanism of her mind against all the pain, faded away as soon as they left the Arya Estate.

The girl looked ready to faint at any moment, and it was only a marvel that she managed to stay up for as long as she did.

She did not speak or say anything to anyone and just silently sobbed and shed her tears from time to time.

Only Diana tried to console her, providing her with the shoulder as she allowed the girl to cry in her arms, but the rest decided to give her the space that she required right now.

The same night, they embarked on their Private Plane, and Alana requested Keith to send her back to Netheria, which he refused with a simple ‘No’.

And his answer made her go quieter.

She was not meeting his eyes, and everyone could discern that she was holding some resentment in her heart towards him.

Her behaviour made Minami narrow her eyes at her, but she stayed patient as Keith had already told her that Alana might be reacting this way after she learned that Yexuan was killed by him.

Then again, losing someone who was dearly precious to you, and who grew up with you and under your care was heart-wrenching.

Alana was already doing much better than anyone else in her place would have been doing under the circumstances. And it was because somewhere in the back of her mind, she had seen this day coming since the Trials at the Magic City.

Most importantly, she knew that Yexuan was not innocent.

Hours later, they landed in Iceland, and there were several men in black waiting for them at the airport to hand over the cars, but they did not follow them to the Castle that once belonged to Hermes, but now belonged to Keith.

It was early in the morning, and the breakfast had not been served yet. π’»π˜Έπ˜¦π“Ώ.π‘π˜°

As soon as Keith stepped out of the vehicle, a beautiful lady, who looked to be in her mid-twenties, with strawberry-blonde hair and green eyes, happily rushed out of the Castle, followed by a maid.

“Master!” She bowed to him, and he smiled as he found her body trembling a little. Her eyes quivered when she looked at his profile and the smile he gave her.

“You don’t want to hug me?” Keith saw through her hesitation and playfully asked.

Fiona blushed a little but then bowed to Diana and the rest in a greeting, introducing herself and welcoming them to the castle like a professional maid.

She had been raised as a maid in a noble family, so she was a very qualified maid. And her behaviour impressed Diana a lot.

“Lead her to the third room in my wing,” Keith said to Minami, and his daughter immediately nodded to him before she wrapped her arm around Alana’s waist and led the girl inside the Castle.

Fiona curiously looked at the girl who was being led inside the Castle, sensing that she was in immense pain and shock, but then she beamed a smile at Ingvild, who was looking at her cutely.

“You are beautiful!” She told the little girl, and Ingvild lightly smiled at her.

“You are pretty.”

She was a little taken aback by the little Princess’ reply and felt a little awkward but still smiled and thanked her, taking it as a compliment.

And it was indeed a compliment coming from someone as beautiful as her.

“Fiona.”

“Yes, Master?”

“Kindly show little Harud a room in the wing where Roy and the twins live.”

“Yes.” She smiled at the young boy and then led him inside the Castle, engaging him in a conversation and soon making him laugh.

She was very good with kids, and it showed.

“She’s well-mannered, well-trained, and quite a bright character.” Diana smiled at him, and he chuckled at her remarks.

“She’s just happy to see me today. Usually, she is not as upbeat.”

“We saw that.” She smiled and then met his eyes. “Alana needs you right now, you should talk to her.”

“No.” He shook his head. “Right now, she can’t shake off the thought that my hands are stained with the blood of her brother. No matter how strong of a front she puts up, the truth is that she deeply cares for Yexuan, and she is very hurt. It’s not the right time to talk to her.”

“Giving someone too much space pushes them at the mercy of their thoughts.” She warned him, and he nodded his head to her.

“My thoughts are clear on the matter. Rest assured.”

Diana sighed at his answer and then just nodded her head. She tried to distract herself from her own thoughts by looking at the magnificent Castle, and it worked a little.

The place was quite magical, but since she had already been inside Aerzaar, it did not amaze her too much.

However, she was still a little surprised by it.

“Never knew that such a place existed on the planet.”

“It belonged to Hermes.” He informed her and then gave her a brief account of this Castle’s history as he took her inside.

Keith showed Diana and Ingvild their rooms after giving them a tour around the Castle, and then they separated to freshen up and meet again at the breakfast table.

When Keith exited the shower and entered his room again, dressing up in his pyjamas, and making it clear what he planned on doing after breakfast, he smiled at seeing his silly maid obediently standing next time the door of his room.

“I thought you did not want any hugs.” He teased her about it again, and Fiona blushed at his words.

“A maid can not publicly hug her Master.” She lightly said, lowering her head.

“Is that so?”

She nodded to him and then smiled as she heard him chuckle.

“Come.” He gave her permission, and she immediately rushed towards him, entering his arms and hugging him tightly.

Keith did not tease her anymore and just hugged her back, allowing her restless heart to settle down.

He had taken her, poured his love inside of her, and then he had left.

The months she had stayed inside this Castle, waiting for him, were not easy on her.

No matter how hard she tried, the silly and saddening thoughts would not stop coming, and Fiona just wished and prayed every day that Keith had not abandoned her and Roy.

She was truly happy today from the bottom of her heart, and she embarrassedly wiped away her tears when they separated and he chuckled at seeing her shed them.

“So, what’s in breakfast?” He asked as they exited the room, and Yingying, who was waiting outside, silently followed them to the dining room.

As he had expected, Alana did not come to join them at breakfast, and Minami informed everyone that she was sleeping right now.

Diana was a little relieved to hear it as she believed that sleep helped a lot to deal with the pain. And then she happily engaged Fiona in a conversation, keeping it light, and not raising any sensitive questions about her past.

“When do the twins and Roy usually return from their training?” Keith inquired, and Fiona smiled at him.

“Sir Romeo has recently upped their training, and now they leave at dawn and return at dusk.” She informed him.

“And how’s Roy doing?” He smiled, and she happily told him how much the boy loved his new life and how he had made great friends with the Hubo twins.

Hearing her so fondly speak of her son, and now that the subject had already been brought up, Diana engaged her in a conversation about him, and Fiona happily responded to her questions, telling her all she wanted to know about Roy.

Diana, of course, did not know Roy, so she only took her words about her son as the words of a mother. It would only be after meeting the boy herself that she would form a judgement about him.

However, she still showed interest in Fiona’s words, not letting the young mother sense her true thoughts.

At the end of the breakfast, Diana retired to her room to get some sleep and Keith asked Minami and Yingying to go out and explore the place with Ingvild.

The Carmilla Princess happily kissed him on the cheek and thanked him before she left holding Minami’s hand, and Yingying too complied as she bowed and followed after them.

Harud was tired after all the travelling, so he decided to perform his morning exercises on the lawn and then get some much-needed sleep.

As for Keith, as he had planned, he left for Fiona’s room, holding said lady by her hand.

By the time they arrived in her room, she was burning in a furious blush, and when he suddenly leapt at her, she let out a cute yelp in surprise.

Keith chuckled as he watched her behave like a maiden in love, and then he made her experience the unimaginable heights of carnal pleasure that drained her of all her strength, just within an hour, and then she soundly fell asleep together with him.

Fiona was in for a very embarrassing evening tonight as her son would catch her in bed with Keith after his return from training.

In her befuddled state, she had forgotten that Roy would always visit her after his return to talk about his day, and he rarely knocked before he entered her room.
