Chapter 403
Chapter 403
It was Friday evening, and everyone, except for Venessa, Sibyl, and Ginara was present in the lounge.
“Can we keep some Dinosaurs in Aerzaar?”
“Pretty please!”
Keith stared at the pair of Twins who were looking at him with hope sparkling in their eyes.
The girls had spent the day exploring the Bio-Center, and they even got to see the secret research that was being conducted inside the facilities.
Project New Life was aimed at bringing back the animals who had gone extinct and their alike, which would be created through genetic engineering. But all people seemed to care about was that this project was going to bring Dinosaurs back to life.
The project had already been approved by the Netherian Government and the Governments around the world to bring certain species back to life after it had been determined that humans were well-equipped to deal with any accidents and that they would not harm the flora and fauna of the world.
However, even though the more dangerous species would not be allowed to come to life and populate the world, it did not mean that Scientists were incapable of creating them.
Among the secret projects that the girls got to see today, they learned that even the more dangerous of the species were either already in development or already existed.
“Seriously?” He raised his brow and asked, and both the girls nodded their heads.
“Yes!” They affirmatively nodded.
“Which ones?”
“Brachiosaurus!”
“Triceratops!”
“Stegosaurus!”
….
….
…
..
.
“That’s all of them!” Celine burst out into giggles after the two girls took all the names they knew and saw earlier today.
“It would be cool!” Reina pouted and then pleadingly looked at Keith, who was quite amused by their antics.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” They both nodded their heads again.
“Some of them are Carnivorous.” He smiled.
“We can put some other animals in there too…”
And then the two of them discussed all the plans they had prepared in just a few hours.
Flawed, of course, and they realised it as well. But they were willing to work on them if he would give them the green light.
They were very serious about it, and now, others were debating over it as well.
It did not take long for the twins to convince Ingvild as well, who made his Grandmother speak on their behalf. All in an effort to make him agree to their request.
Diana too knew that she would not be able to sway his mind from the decision if he had already made one, but she still listened to Ingvild’s request and asked him to grant their wish.
“Fine.” He agreed and nodded after the twins promised him that they would work on the plans. “But only the Herbivores first. We will bring the Carnivores a couple of years later.”
“Thank you!” The two happily hugged him and then excitedly started discussing the matter as they ran off to their room with Ingvild.
It was not really a problem for Keith to bring these creatures to Aerzaar. These were harmless creatures who posed no threat to them, and Aerzaar was big enough to drop these creatures on a specific continent where they could live on their own.
Since these animals were not Magical Beasts who would actively refine the natural Aura, their presence inside Aerzaar was not going to prove to be a burden on him either.
There was a high chance that these animals would never evolve into Magical Beasts, but even if they did not, they could just serve as food for any future Beasts he might add to his world.
Keith had not given it much thought yet, but he planned on cultivating a thriving fauna inside Aerzaar with all sorts of Magical Creatures.
Since Aerzaar’s time flow was different than that of Gaia, thirty years inside it would only be three years on this Planet. And three decades were going to be more than enough time for these species of dinosaurs to populate themselves before they introduce their predators to them.
“You are not going to sleep again, are you?” Kiara smiled and asked just when he turned to walk to his room, and he sighed in his heart.
He had not joined the girls today, having slept all day in his room, and it was reasonable that they would be a little upset at him. 𝖋𝔯𝔴𝔟𝖔𝖛𝖑.𝔠𝔬𝔪
“Alana and Kashish will be here in an hour.” Diana reminded him.
“I am going to study a book.” He told them, and Kiara stuck her tongue at him before she, Ingrid, and Minami excused themselves to go to the music room and play the piano.
Qingyue, Ayesha, and Nana stayed with Diana and Celine, helping the two to prepare tonight’s meal, and his Shadow silently followed him to his room.
“Rest.” He ordered Yingying before he sat at the study table and took out the book on Magical Crafting to continue reading it. But before getting into it, he asked the System a question he was a little curious about. “Evolutionary Serums for Magical Beasts will be available in the shop once you level up again, right?”
{Yes, Host.} The system answered him.
Keith curiously looked at the System Experience, which was currently 30895/50000.
He was still short of around nineteen thousand System Experience to allow the System to level up again, but Keith already knew how he would gather the rest before the time came to ascend this world and step into the Lower Heaven.
He had still not completed the Quests for Kashish, and Alana, and even binding the Twins would give him System Experience. He still had Qin Feng and Damien Eisenhardt to deal with. Completing their quests and the Quests related to them was going to provide him with a lot of System Experience.
And then there was Roy Windson.
Keith had planned on training the boy during this time, but things had taken an unexpected turn and he had to head to Griffin City to deal with Samrath.
Right now, the boy was training under Romeo, alongside the Hubo Twins, and he was doing very well.
However, he needed to go and train him in person for the remaining few months to form a bond with the boy, which would keep him forever filial to him and his family.
That’s it.
Keith was not taking into account the experience he might gain from completing Roy’s quest as it was a quest that was going to take a lot of time.
He smiled as he remembered that Kashish’s younger brother was coming today. And he was a man who was supposed to become Samrath’s right hand in the future, a very powerful individual.
The boy was a very talented and valuable asset, and he had plans for him as well as a quest related to him.
“What’s Aerion’s current Fate Value?”
[Fate Value: 72275 (Fluctuating with a rising trend)]
It was just as he had expected, and he sighed in his heart.
{The Host knows that Aerion Prince is very important to the Divine Laws. He has a purpose to serve that puts him above any other Child of Destiny, and killing him before he has served his purpose would lead to a disaster. The System has no Quest for Aerion Prince. However, depending on your future decisions, Quests will be generated.}
“I understand.”
Keith did not have any plans to kill Aerion Prince, and he also realised that it was going to be near impossible to kill him thanks to the System that the boy possessed.
{The Hedonistic Monarch System is one of the strongest Systems in existence.}
“Is it capable of sensing you?” He curiously asked.
{Yes, Host.} The System replied. {It will be able to sense that you possess a System, but it can not see through any of the System’s details.}
“That’s assuring.”
{There is no System in existence that can surpass yours, Host. You can rest assured about it.}
“Since we are at it, why don’t you tell me some things about yourself?” He smirked.
{The questions that the Host has would cost him 100 Million Fate Value each.}
“Right.” He could not help but chuckle and then did not speak again.
He soon immersed himself in the book, and he felt like only a second had passed when the door of his room was knocked. In fact, nearly two hours had passed, and in peeked Alana through the semi-opened door, curiously searching for him.
“Keith!” The girl brightly smiled when their eyes met and she immediately rushed towards him, hugging him before he could even stand up.
“I missed you too.” He chuckled, and the girl melodiously laughed at his answer.
“This place is beautiful!” She told him. “Kiara has promised to show us around tomorrow.”
“I see. Is the dinner ready?”
“Yes.” She nodded her hand and then grabbed his arm. “Come. I will introduce you to little Harud.”
She excitedly pulled him and lead him to the lounge where a young boy, eleven years old, at most, was pensively sitting next to his older sister, overwhelmed by the Aura that the ladies of his family oozed.
Keith was quite impressed by his instincts, and when the boy turned to look at him and tried to school himself, he smiled a little.
Kashish happily smiled when her little brother adhered to the etiquette and stood up, bowing to Keith as he approached them.
“Mir Harud, Lord Erebus.”
“I know.” He smiled as he patted the boy’s shoulder. “You are impressively talented, but since you are Kashish’s brother, it is given. Isn’t it?”
“I am better than my sister.” He confidently smiled at him, and Kashish lightly smacked him on his head as soon as he uttered those words.
“You wish!” She teasingly retorted.
“You are just jealous of me!” Harud complained, and Alana could not help but laugh at watching the girl bicker with her younger brother.
It was not the first time she was watching them behave like this, but like always, their interaction warmed her heart.
