Villain Seduces to Rise in Status
Chapter 195 - Bloodline Bestowal
All of that was good, but the last one was the real game changer.
"I can finally give out bloodlines to others!"
Imagine it, any bloodline he wanted, passed to anyone he chose. Fiora, for instance — a vampire or dragon-style blood would help her maintain her physique, stabilize her body, and keep her from freezing the people standing nearby.
[Bloodline Skill V: Bloodline Bestowal
The host possesses the extraordinary ability to bestow any one of the bloodlines currently residing within his body upon another individual.
Through the circulation and transmission of his own bloodline essence, the host can gradually imprint a selected bloodline onto the recipient, allowing them to inherit its abilities, characteristics, and unique evolutionary properties.
However, the process is neither instantaneous nor effortless. The recipient’s body must gradually adapt to the foreign bloodline before the inheritance can be considered complete.
Inheritance Process:
The bestowal process requires four to ten hours to complete, depending on the recipient’s existing bloodline, physique, constitution, cultivation, and compatibility with the bestowed lineage.
High Compatibility: Approximately four hours.
Moderate Compatibility: Approximately six to eight hours.
Low Compatibility: Up to ten hours, or potentially longer if the recipient’s constitution presents exceptional resistance.
Warning: The recipient inherits the same bloodline as the host, but never at the host’s original bloodline grade. The bestowed bloodline is automatically reduced by one or two grades, depending on the host’s choice and the recipient’s compatibility.
If Host’s Bloodline: Supreme-Tier Bloodline.
Then Recipient’s Bloodline: High-Tier Bloodline or Mid-Tier Bloodline.
Although the recipient’s bloodline grade is lower, its fundamental nature remains unchanged. They receive the same inherent abilities, principles, and evolutionary characteristics associated with that bloodline. The difference lies in the strength, efficiency, and ultimate potential of those abilities, which are limited by the diluted grade.
Existing Bloodlines Only: The host can bestow only bloodlines already present within his own body.
No Equal-Grade Inheritance: A bestowed bloodline is always one or two grades lower than the host’s corresponding bloodline.
Same Lineage, Different Potential: The recipient inherits the same fundamental bloodline and its associated abilities, but in a diluted form.
Compatibility Determines Duration: The recipient’s constitution, existing bloodline, physique, and cultivation influence the time required for successful inheritance.
Recipient Adaptation: Once the process is complete, the recipient must gradually master their newly acquired bloodline and its abilities.
No Loss to the Host: Bestowing a bloodline grants the recipient a diluted inheritance without removing the original bloodline from the host’s body.]
His eyes widened.
"Well... well... well... that was quite a shocker. To think such techniques exist among vampires? And I have the highest-grade vampire bloodline. It also helps me mix my other bloodlines, so the backlash from multiple creatures’ blood is reduced... sigh."
[Cultivation Speed Multiplier: 10x → 10.7x]
[Spiritual Comprehension Speed: 2.3x → 3x]
[Rewarded 5 Pages Of The Book Of Endless Refinement.]
Then he remembered, and his grin widened.
"Hey, system. I’m an Emperor now! Can I use the shop?"
[Yes. Host can access the shop function.]
"Ahh~ to think I can finally use this. It was locked for so long I’d forgotten it existed at all. Keke. So, how does it work?"
But before the system could answer, someone pounded on the door hard enough to rattle the frame.
"Cale, you damned bastard! What are you doing in there? Open the door right now or I’m going to break it!" Emma shouted from outside.
"Young Lord, please. We need to know whether you are fine or not."
Cale sighed. "I’m not in any danger! Get lost for a while. I’m breaking through to the Emperor Stage. Now go, unless you want to be hit by heavenly lightning."
The voices outside went silent for a heartbeat.
"H-he’s breaking through to become an Emperor?!"
"No, how is that even possible? Isn’t he only twenty-three?"
But the most shocked of all was Emma, who had spent more time with him in this mansion than anyone.
The guards didn’t ask how Cale had entered the vicinity, or why he had hidden his presence. They weren’t in any position to ask such things.
But one of them hesitantly said, "Umm... Young Lord, shouldn’t you be outside if you’re facing a tribulation? Otherwise the mansion..."
Emma’s eyes widened, and she screamed, "Cale! Go to the training hall, or somewhere else, please! You can’t destroy the only property I have!"
Wearing his soul armor, Cale pushed open the window.
"Hmph, at least you have a mansion! Seriously, where’s my share of the family inheritance?"
He climbed out and jumped up to the roof. He couldn’t exactly reveal his second body inside a training hall, so the roof would do. Quickly, he cast a simple formation, and a thin layer of mist rolled up around him, hiding everything within it.
Sending his main body into the shadows, Cale opened his eyes in the Astral Sovereign body.
’Hmm. I don’t even need to adjust after switching bodies. It’s as if both are the same.’
Thunder crackled overhead, even though the sky above was perfectly clear.
Cale prepared himself, raising both hands toward the sky.
He didn’t need to defend against it, he needed to absorb it, and the more the better.
BOOM!
The lightning struck down onto him, and his entire body erupted in a radiance of white and blue.
The bolt split apart the moment it touched his skin, its raw current pouring into his palms like a river finding its sea. Threads of violet arc light crawled up his arms, sinking beneath his skin and tracing the paths of his meridians. Where the energy passed, the marks along his torso flared to life one after another, glowing like constellations waking in sequence.
His hair lifted in the charged air, silver and white flickering with sparks. The stone beneath his feet cracked, then softened, scorched into smooth glass by the sheer heat of what he was taking in. Every breath he drew came in with the taste of ozone, and every exhale carried a faint crackle of blue lightning from between his lips.
It hurt! Of course it hurt. The Primordial Tribulation Thunder Root drank greedily, and each surge tried to tear him open, but his Ecstasy flooded through his mind like cool water, and the Berserk instinct fed on every pulse, sharpening him with each strike. The Transcendent Dao Root hummed beneath it all, refining the chaos into something cleaner and denser.
Bolt after bolt came down. He drank every one.
As the last crackling remnants sank into him, the glow dimmed and the mist around the roof slowly settled back down, drifting like smoke across the tiles.
Cale lowered his hands and looked at them. Sparks still danced across his fingertips, reluctant to fade.
Closing his eyes, he turned his awareness inward, sensing the flow of energy through his core. Something within him had shifted, a new ring of power forming and locking into place, its rhythm perfectly aligned with the others.
[Congratulations Host! For Forming The Third Mana Circle!]
He let out a slow breath, a crooked smile tugging at his lips.
"Third circle, huh... I expected more... sigh."
Cale stretched his arms, the lightning in his veins humming like a living thing.
"Alright. Let’s see what the shop has to offer."
