Chapter 943 Not a Losing Battle

Villain Ch 943. Not a Losing Battle

Allen extended his hand to the side, summoning his weapon. A black sword materialized in his grasp, its dark blade pulsing with ominous energy. His eyes locked onto the approaching tanks, his mind fully immersed in his role as the Devil Emperor. He craved the thrill of battle, the rush of combat, the sight of his enemies falling before him. What he wanted was blood…

The tanks reached him first, their shields raised and weapons ready. They struck with coordinated attacks, each swing aimed to breach his defenses. But Allen was no ordinary foe. He moved with a grace and speed that belied his imposing presence, parrying their blows with ease. His sword flashed, each strike precise and devastating. In the next split second blood already coloured his blade.

A Warrior lunged at him, but Allen sidestepped effortlessly, his sword slicing through the air and striking the Warrior’s exposed flank. The player let out a cry of pain, his health bar plummeting. Allen’s sadistic grin widened. He loved the sound of their suffering, the sight of their health bars depleting.

Meanwhile, the archers and rogues continued their assault. Arrows whistled through the air, some locking their mark on Allen and his companions. A few arrows grazed him, but his armor absorbed most of the damage. It was mostly zero damage. He could feel the sting of each hit, but it only fueled his bloodlust.

The magic users unleashed their spells, filling the air with bursts of fire, ice, and lightning. The hall was a chaotic orchestra of explosions and cries, the ground shaking with the force of their attacks. Allen could see the determination in their eyes, their resolve to fight until the end. It was admirable, but ultimately futile.

Allen reveled in the chaos, feeling the exhilaration of the battle thrumming through his veins. The players’ resolve and coordination made the fight all the more thrilling. He raised his free hand, summoning the Demonic Orbs. Dark, pulsating spheres of energy formed around him.

With a flick of his wrist, Allen sent the Demonic Orbs hurtling toward the players. They collided mid-air with the players’ own spells, creating a massive explosion that shook the entire hall.

-BOOM!

Dust and smoke billowed out, hindering the players’ sight and throwing the battlefield into disarray. Allen saw his chance. He descended through the smoke, his form a shadowy blur. As he hit the ground, he activated his Demonic Aura.

[Countdown: 15 minutes.]

The dark energy enveloped him, making his presence even more terrifying. The players near him felt the oppressive weight of his aura, their movements sluggish and their defenses weakened. Using the smoke as cover, Allen moved with the speed of lightning, a phantom in the haze.

His blade flashed, slashing through the air and cutting down players without mercy. Each strike was precise, fueled by the bloodlust that had taken hold of him. He was a whirlwind of destruction, his sword piercing armor and flesh with ease. Continue reading stories on My Virtual Library Empire

“Ha Ha Ha!” His evil laughter echoed through the hall, a chilling sound that sent shivers down the spines of those who heard it as if he was a psychopath in bloodlust.

A Paladin tried to block his path, raising his shield in a desperate attempt to hold back the onslaught. But Allen’s increased strength shattered the shield with a single blow, his sword driving through the Paladin’s armor and into his chest. The player crumpled to the ground, his health bar dropping to zero.

Nearby, a Magic Scholar attempted to cast a spell, his hands glowing with arcane energy. Allen was upon him in an instant, his sword cleaving through the Magic Scholar’s robes and silencing his incantation forever.

The blood on Allen’s blade grew thicker with each swing, the metallic scent mixing with the acrid smoke in the air. His killing spree was in full swing. Despite his top-notch performance, he noticed something, the players kept coming, more and more, a relentless tide that showed no signs of stopping. The news of their arrival had spread faster than he anticipated.

Through the chaos, Allen spotted members of various top guilds. Recognizable by their distinct armor and emblems, they joined the fray. However, none of the higher-ups or guild leaders had arrived yet. It was a slight disappointment. Allen had hoped to face the strongest opponents. Instead, he found himself cutting down their rank-and-file members, skilled but ultimately no match for him.

Still, the constant influx of players posed a challenge. They were more organized than before, their resolve bolstered by sheer numbers and the inspiration from past encounters. Allen could see it in their eyes, the belief that they could take him down, that every death brought them closer to victory.

“Battle Call!” The unexpected voice cut through the chaos, surprising not only Allen but also his companions who were deep in the throes of combat. The shout had an immediate, galvanizing effect on the battlefield. Allen and his team turned toward the source, but the heavy smoke and shadows obscured their view.

It took a moment to pinpoint the voice, which came from behind a huge pillar. There, they saw Red_King, the leader of the Celestial Vanguard guild. His smirk was evident even from a distance, his hand raised as he activated his skill, summoning all his guild members to the battlefield.

Allen’s eyes narrowed, and he moved to intercept, but another shout stopped him in his tracks. “Battle Call!” The shout came from a different direction, and Allen turned to see Elio hiding behind a ruined wall. Elio’s expression mirrored Red_King’s.

Almost simultaneously, a third voice rang out, “Battle Call!” This time it was Arcana, positioned behind a statue, also calling forth his guild members. The battlefield, already teeming with players, began to swell with new arrivals as the summoned guild members appeared.

Allen’s heart raced with a mix of exhilaration and frustration. The guild leaders had coordinated their efforts, using the confusion of the battle to position themselves strategically. His sadistic pleasure at the chaos he had created was now met with a formidable challenge.
