Chapter 933 Homewrecker

Villain Ch 933. Homewrecker

“But I’m not too worried about it,” said Vivian casually, twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers. “Being a model isn’t my only dream and I’m just a freelancer there.” Despite her nonchalant tone, a flicker of curiosity danced in her eyes. She couldn’t help but wonder about who Sophia might be getting close to at the agency.

The agency had a lot of staff, but the higher-ups were mostly older or married. The idea of Sophia potentially becoming a homewrecker intrigued her, even if it was just speculation.

Jane noticed the thoughtful look on Vivian’s face. “You seem to be thinking about something,” she said with a mischievous smile, her eyes narrowing playfully at Vivian.

Vivian quickly masked her curiosity with a dismissive wave of her hand. “Nothing,” she said, trying to sound casual. It was just her assumption, after all, and she didn’t want to stir up unnecessary drama.

Jane wasn’t convinced. She leaned in closer, batting her eyes and putting on her best puppy-dog face. “C’mon. Spill the beans, Vivian.”

Allen and Larissa also turned their attention to Vivian, their interest piqued. Vivian sighed, realizing she wouldn’t be able to brush this off easily. “Fine,” she said, giving in.

She took a deep breath, organizing her thoughts before speaking. “Okay, so here’s what’s been on my mind. The agency has a lot of staff, sure, but the higher-ups are mostly older or married. It makes me wonder if Sophia might be trying to get close to someone who fits that description. It’s just a guess, but if she’s trying to gain influence or information, she might target someone who’s more…

susceptible to her charms.”

Larissa frowned, considering Vivian’s words. “Are you suggesting she’s trying to become a homewrecker? That’s pretty low, even for her.”

Vivian shrugged. “I know it sounds extreme, but think about it. If she’s as obsessed with Allen as we think, she might be willing to go to great lengths to get what she wants. And if that means cozying up to someone powerful at the agency, then maybe she sees it as a necessary step.”

Allen felt a chill run down his spine. The idea of Sophia manipulating her way into someone’s life, possibly ruining a family in the process, was disturbing. “That’s a scary thought,” he said, his voice low. “I knew she was persistent, but this is something else entirely.”

Vivian turned to Allen, her expression earnest. “Right?” she said, seeking his agreement. “But yeah, this is just my assumption. I can’t say anything for sure. I’m trying to find more information, but it’s tough. Sophia works remotely, and I’m just a freelancer, even though they often use me as one of their models.

The next shoot they’re planning is a goddess theme. So, it’s an all-women photoshoot.”

Larissa smirked, catching the shift in the conversation. “So, no job for Allen?” she teased, knowing full well how busy he already was.

Allen grunted, rolling his eyes. “Ugh… please spare me. I’ve got my hands full already,” he announced with a grimace, thinking about the conference preparations and his in-game commitments.

“So, the gossip ends here?” Jane asked, clearly disappointed by the lack of concrete details.

“Why are you suddenly interested in gossip?” Larissa said with a grin, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

Jane pouted. “Office affairs make for interesting stories, you know? Especially if one of the couples is married.”

Allen raised an eyebrow, taking his cup and sipping his tea thoughtfully. “Another forbidden love romance story?” he guessed.

Jane’s pout transformed into an innocent grin. “Yup!” she said enthusiastically.

Vivian chuckled, shaking her head. “You and your love for drama, Jane. But I get it. It does make for an intriguing story.”

“But I don’t think it will end well, just like in the romance stories. They are fiction after all,” Larissa said, her tone pragmatic.

“Yeah, but I think she is desperate enough to reach that stage,” Vivian added, a hint of concern in her voice.

“Well, it could also be that she has actually given up on Allen and decided to go after the rich man. She hasn’t been online in Hell’s Gate for a few days, right? Maybe she has quit the game,” Jane chimed in, her speculative tone adding a different perspective.

Allen hummed thoughtfully, considering Jane’s point. The others laughed, dismissing the idea one by one.

“No way,” Vivian said.

“Unlikely,” Larissa added.

But Allen’s contemplative hum caught their attention. “It could be,” he said slowly, drawing their gazes back to him.

“Earlier, Mark told me that Sophia was interested in my motorbike. She shouldn’t have known it belonged to me, so I guessed she thought it belonged to Mark. That’s probably why she suddenly approached Mark last time,” Allen explained, sharing his and Gerry’s theory.

The girls grimaced in disgust at the implications of Allen’s words. “So, she’s a homewrecker and a gold-digger wannabe?” Vivian concluded, her face showing clear distaste.

“Ouch…” Jane said with a dramatic sigh. “So unromantic…”

Allen shrugged, trying to stay detached. “It’s just a theory, but it fits with her behavior. If she’s not getting what she wants from me, she might be trying to find another way to satisfy her ambitions.”

Larissa leaned forward, her expression serious. “If Sophia is this determined and willing to manipulate people, she could cause a lot of damage. Not just to you, but to anyone she decides to use.”

Jane sighed deeply, shaking her head from side to side as she let her imagination wander. “I can already imagine the family drama,” she said, her voice tinged with a mix of frustration and sadness. The thought of a family breaking apart, of a couple fighting because of someone like Sophia, was unsettling.

“Ugh…” she grunted, her expression reflecting her distaste. “I hate it. I hate sad stories involving couples fighting…” she muttered, her voice trailing off.

Allen watched her, understanding her sentiment. He felt the same way. The idea of someone causing such turmoil for their own gain was repulsive. “I get it. It’s awful to think about. But we need to be realistic about the situation.”
