Villain Ch 441. No Comment
Larissa’s thoughts took an unexpectedly naughty turn as she found herself lost in contemplation. She couldn’t help but reminisce about those moments when her pilates class at the gym wrapped up earlier than Allen’s workout sessions. In those precious moments, she would steal covert glances at him, watching as he engaged in his rigorous exercises.
Her mind often played tricks on her, causing her thoughts to oscillate between the real-life Allen she’d glimpsed at the gym and the digital persona of the devil emperor. It was a tantalizing juxtaposition, one that stirred a unique fascination within her. While Larissa was acutely aware of the stark contrast between the two, she couldn’t deny the allure of both.
The devil emperor, with his ominous demeanor and dark charisma, had managed to capture her attention in the virtual realm. There was an undeniable attraction to the power and mystique that surrounded his character. The sinister charm he exuded was nothing short of captivating, and Larissa had to admit that she found it, well, rather hot.
However, her thoughts didn’t stop there. Larissa couldn’t help but acknowledge that the allure wasn’t confined to the virtual world alone. The real-life Allen, with his impressive physique and dedication to his gym routine, had a magnetic quality of his own. Those fleeting moments when her gaze met his during their gym sessions had left an indelible impression.
After all, how many players found themselves irresistibly drawn to an in-game character and the player behind it?
Larissa continued her inner musings, a voice in her mind gently admonished her for indulging in such thoughts. ‘No, there are a lot of them, but it’s you who finds him hot and is attracted to his devilish charm!’ she reasoned, reminding herself. But she couldn’t blame herself for that.
“I can swing by your apartment and pick you up, maybe for dinner?” Allen’s casual invitation echoed in Larissa’s thoughts. It had been a tempting offer, one she secretly longed to accept, but this morning had thrown her off guard.
Yet, she couldn’t deny that the idea of a dinner together was still very much on her mind. She decided to find a more discreet way to convey her intentions.
“Guys,” Larissa finally spoke up, drawing the attention of Allen and the others. “I think I should log off now.”
The sudden announcement took Vivian by surprise. “That fast?” she exclaimed, her shock evident.
Larissa nodded, a subtle hint of a smile playing on her lips. “Yeah, I want to make dinner,” she explained. Her gaze shifted toward Allen, hoping he would catch her drift, though she understood that subtlety might not be enough. She decided to add a little extra push. “Don’t forget what you said this morning,” she emphasized, her voice laced with a hint of playful anticipation.
Allen’s sharp mind quickly decoded Larissa’s subtle invitation. She was inviting him over to her apartment, a prospect that piqued his interest and sent a wave of excitement through him.
Before he could respond, Zoe chimed in innocently, “Wait, isn’t it too late for dinner?”
Larissa didn’t miss a beat, her smile unwavering. “Low-calorie foods should be fine,” she replied, her words laced with a hint of mischief. With a cheerful “Bye, everyone,” she swiftly logged off, her character vanishing from the virtual world.
Left behind, the group had to decide on their next course of action. Alice, still nursing her disappointment over the meager coins she had earned in the event, suggested, “So what are we going to do next? Should we go hunting?”
Allen, however, had other plans in mind. “You guys go ahead and hunt,” he replied. “I have some business to attend to tonight.”
Shea gently took Allen’s hand, causing him to shift his attention towards her. With a pair of puppy-dog eyes, she asked, “Are you going off too?”
“Yes,” Allen replied, a hint of surprise in his voice. It was unusual to see Shea acting so spoiled.
Meanwhile, Zoe cringed at the display. “Mom, seriously, stop it. That’s very disgusting,” she groaned. 𝐞𝗻𝐨𝘃𝗹.𝐜𝐨𝗺
Shea turned to Zoe, her expression turning from affectionate to proud. “Hey, you’re the one who said I should be sweeter to Allen so I don’t come across as his sugar mama,” she retorted, defending her actions.
“But we are in the game. It has no effect on your character,” Allen reminded Shea.
Zoe raised one perfectly sculpted eyebrow at her mother’s antics. “What I mean is in the real world, Mom,” she replied with a flat stare, her patience wearing thin.
Shea let out a soft sigh and pressed her lips together in thought. “That’s a good point,” she conceded, her tone slightly chastened. “I’ll do this in the real world then,” she declared with determination.
The others cringed simultaneously upon hearing Shea’s statement.
“What?” Shea protested, her gaze flitting from one incredulous face to another. She couldn’t understand why they were reacting this way.
“It doesn’t match your image, ma’am,” teased Bella, her tone laced with playful sarcasm as she deliberately addressed Shea with the formal title.
Vivian let out a small chuckle, shaking her head in amusement. “Nope, Nope…” she murmured, clearly finding the situation rather amusing.
Jane simply flashed an awkward grin and playfully shook her head from side to side.
Zoe, who had initiated the conversation, couldn’t help but cringe at the thought of her mother behaving this way. “On second thought, just be yourself,” she muttered, her voice filled with embarrassment.
Shea pouted in response to their teasing, her eyes darting to Allen as if seeking his support.
Allen decided to steer clear of the impending argument. “I don’t mind with either way,” he said with a nonchalant shrug.
With a huff, Shea relented. “Fine,” she said, her tone sulky as she realized that her dramatic declaration was more entertaining to her friends than she had anticipated.
“Okay, guys. See you tomorrow,” Allen said, offering a wave of farewell before he logged off, his character disappearing from the virtual world as he disconnected from the game.
