Chapter 312 Makeover
Villain Ch 312. Makeover
After the heavy conversation at the restaurant, Allen and Geralt decided to shift their focus to lighter topics, catching up on each other’s lives and reminiscing about old memories. The clock seemed to tick faster than usual, and before they knew it, one and a half hours had flown by. Reluctantly, they parted ways, but not before making plans to meet up again soon. Geralt would be back in his hometown the next day after his final meeting with his client, and Allen promised to hang out with him if he returned to his hometown.
As they bid each other farewell, Allen’s mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of the mysterious man from the club and the unanswered questions that lingered in the air. However, he knew that it was better to take a break from all the heavy thinking.
Leaving the restaurant, Allen decided to head to Vivian’s apartment instead of his own. It was conveniently closer to the club, and Vivian had mentioned that she had something to give him before they left. She seemed excited about it, mentioning a makeover or something along those lines, as there would be several other models present at the club event.
“I’m surprised you came sooner than I expected,” Vivian greeted Allen with a warm smile as they met in the lobby and walked out of the elevator to her room.
“Yeah,” Allen replied with a small smile, feeling grateful for the distraction and the chance to spend time with Vivian. “We finished earlier than I thought,” he admitted. He wanted to talk more with Geralt, but unfortunately, Geralt had to return to his hotel earlier due to another appointment with his colleagues.
They arrived at Vivian’s apartment, and she opened the door with a flourish. “Come in,” she said cheerfully, holding the door open for Allen. As he stepped inside, he couldn’t help but be impressed by the stylish and modern decor that greeted him. Vivian had a knack for transforming her space into a reflection of her vibrant personality, and it was evident in every corner of the room.
Vivian’s room was a dazzling and eclectic space that exuded her passion for makeup and beauty. As soon as Allen stepped inside, he was greeted by an explosion of colors and creativity. The walls were adorned with vibrant and eye-catching posters featuring makeup looks and beauty inspirations. Vivian’s own artwork, showcasing her makeup transformations, took center stage in ornate frames, proudly displaying her talent as a makeup guru and YouTuber.
A long vanity table occupied one corner of the room, adorned with an array of makeup products and tools neatly arranged in clear acrylic organizers. The vanity mirror was surrounded by bright, fairy lights that added a touch of magic to the space, creating the perfect ambiance for her makeup tutorials and beauty content.
A bookshelf stood against the opposite wall, boasting an intriguing mix of beauty books, makeup guides, and skincare manuals. Allen noticed that some of the books were bookmarked, indicating that she frequently referred back to them for inspiration and ideas.
The room was furnished with a cozy sitting area, complete with plush cushions and a colorful throw blanket. A small coffee table sat at the center, stacked with magazines and fashion journals.
“Your room is definitely interesting,” he remarked, his eyes sweeping across the eclectic decor.
Vivian laughed playfully, twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers. “Mostly, this place is a mess,” she admitted, “but I managed to tidy it up for you today.” Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it was evident that she took great pride in her creative space. 𝑜𝘷𝑙.𝘰𝑟𝑔
“So, I’m a special guest then?” Allen asked with a teasing glint in his eyes, enjoying the playful banter.
Vivian grinned mischievously, winking at him. “Oh, absolutely,” she replied with a playful tone. “Only the most special guests get the full VIP treatment in my glamorous makeup kingdom.”
With that, she led him further into the room, where her makeup vanity table took center stage. It was a magical realm in itself, adorned with an array of sparkling cosmetics and a majestic mirror that seemed to beckon with the promise of a marvelous transformation.
But before Allen could get lost in the enchantment, Vivian directed his attention to a rack of clothes hanging gracefully nearby. “Here, wear this,” she said, handing him a suit.
Allen’s eyebrows furrowed in puzzlement as he examined the suit in his hands. “Isn’t this a suit?” he asked, unsure of what Vivian had in mind. It was undoubtedly a well-tailored informal piece, but it seemed more on the formal side than what he had in mind for a night out at the club.
Vivian nodded enthusiastically, her eyes gleaming with excitement. “Yes, it is,” she confirmed. “But trust me, it’s perfect for tonight.”
Allen’s confusion deepened, and he couldn’t help but voice his thoughts. “But you said we’re going to the club,” he pointed out. “I thought we’d be dancing and having fun, so I chose a more casual outfit to make it easier to move around.”
Vivian chuckled softly, understanding his concerns. “You’re right, the club is all about dancing and having fun,” she agreed. “But it’s not just any club, Allen. It’s a high society club, and they have a dress code. Casual clothes won’t cut it.”
Allen’s curiosity was piqued as he looked at the suit again. “Is this from our last photoshoot?” he asked, trying to recall if he had worn something similar during their modeling gig.
“Bingo!” Vivian’s eyes sparkled with mischief as she confirmed his guess. “I borrowed it from the agency. Well, to be honest, I practically demanded it for you,” she admitted with a playful wink.
“Isn’t that illegal?” Allen couldn’t help but ask, his uncertainty showing on his face. The idea of taking clothes from the agency without proper authorization made him slightly uneasy.
Vivian waved off his concerns with a dismissive gesture. “Nah, it’s not illegal. Some of the clothes used for shoots are considered one-time-use items. They hardly ever get used again due to the fast-moving trends in the fashion industry. And sometimes, the agency lets us keep the clothes if they’re not designer or branded items,” she explained nonchalantly. “I made sure to take it to the laundry, so it’s fresh and clean, don’t worry.”
Relieved by Vivian’s explanation, Allen smiled gratefully. “Well, thank you for the clothes then,” he said, genuinely appreciative of her gesture.
“Don’t mention it,” Vivian replied with a carefree grin. “If you want to change, feel free to do so here. I still need to finish my hairdo in the bathroom anyway, so my makeup tools might be scattered around,” she added, pointing towards her partially done hair.
