Chapter 229 Oversized Stick
Villain Ch 229. Oversized Stick
In an instant, a loading screen materialized before Allen, its vibrant colors swirling and pulsating in an otherworldly display. Once the loading screen dissolved, it revealed the evolution room. But rather than the empty evolution room, Bella and Zoe were there. Their gasps of astonishment mirrored their own disbelief.
Zoe struggled to find her words. “Who… who are you?” she stammered, her voice tinged with a mixture of awe and confusion.
But before Zoe could even speak again, Allen cut her off, his voice firm and determined. “We’ll talk later, Zoe,” he said, his gaze fixed on the exit. There was an urgency in his voice that brooked no further delay.
Bella, taken aback by Allen’s transformation, could only muster a faint whisper. “A-Allen?”
He glanced back at her, a wry smile playing on his lips. “Yeah, it’s me. Who else?” he replied, his voice tinged with a touch of amusement despite the gravity of the situation.
Without wasting another moment, Allen set off towards the exit, his massive form moving with surprising agility. It was as if his newly acquired demonic powers had imbued him with a heightened sense of speed and agility.
With swift determination, Allen made his way through the corridor, his colossal form effortlessly maneuvering through the mansion’s spacious layout. The vastness of the building, encompassing every nook and cranny, worked to his advantage as he navigated toward his destination—the throne room.
Once he got there, Allen approached the mirror, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and anticipation. As his gaze met his reflection, his breath caught in his throat. “Oh my God,” he murmured, barely able to contain his awe.
The elegant and regal aura that usually enveloped him in his normal form was gone. Instead, he was greeted by a sight that sent shivers down his spine. His gray skin, now covering his towering frame, radiated an air of malevolence and power. The elongated horns atop his head exuded a sense of ancient wisdom, while his elongated wings spoke of mastery over the skies.
A wry grin crept across Allen’s face as he beheld his transformed self. “This is so cool,” he whispered, reveling in the thrill of his newfound strength. The mirror reflected the image of a being that commanded respect and struck fear into his foes—a true force to be reckoned with.
Lost in his amazement, Allen was abruptly snapped out of his reverie by the sound of approaching footsteps. He turned his head towards the door, his gaze meeting Bella, Alice, and Zoe’s stunned expressions.
Allen took in their altered appearances; he couldn’t help but notice the subtle changes that had occurred. Zoe now sported a shell design bandana. Alice wore a witch hat adorned with intricate patterns, hinting at her mastery of arcane arts. Bella showcased longer nails and a more pronounced set of tails, emphasizing her feline grace and agility.
It was clear that they had also passed their tests and unlocked new powers.
Just as Allen was about to share his excitement and explain his new abilities, Alice beat him to it, her voice tinged with a mix of awe and uncertainty. “A-Allen? Is that really you?” she stammered, her eyes locked on his towering form. nov𝚕.𝚌om
With a nod, Allen reassured her, “Yeah, it’s me.” He opened his massive hand, the dark aura surrounding it pulsating with raw energy. “I just unlocked my demonic form. Check it out! Isn’t it cool?” His voice exuded uncontainable excitement, his eyes shining with the thrill of his transformation.
Zoe, still taken aback by the imposing presence before her, managed to find her voice amidst her astonishment. “Uh… yeah, it’s so cool,” she muttered, her eyes scanning Allen’s transformed physique.
Bella tilted her head inquisitively. Her gaze landed squarely on Allen as she posed a rather unconventional question. “Guys, our characters’ holes are elastic, right? It won’t do any damage to us when we do it, will it?” Her words were tinged with curiosity.
Bella’s eyes widened as she continued, “Does that mean we will get that ‘anaconda’ as Jane said?” Her words hung in the air, causing a brief moment of stunned silence among the group.
Allen, caught off guard by the unexpected turn of conversation, blinked in surprise. He couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, though he attempted to stifle it with a hand over his mouth. Of all the things to discuss at this moment, it seemed their minds had taken a peculiar path. Yet, he couldn’t deny the validity of their questions.
Glancing down at himself, Allen’s eyebrows furrowed in playful contemplation. “Should I check it?” he muttered jokingly to himself. He hadn’t intended for his words to be taken seriously, but before he could even register the absurdity of the situation, both Zoe and Bella eagerly responded.
Alice, unable to contain her excitement, chimed in, “You better check it! We’re dying to know!”
Bella couldn’t resist joining in. With a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, she added, “Yes! We have to make sure that the size fits ours, you know? I don’t want to experience any painful ‘wardrobe malfunctions’ due to an oversized stick!”
Zoe, her curiosity piqued, couldn’t help but jump on the bandwagon. “I want to see it too!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with playful anticipation.
A mixture of bewilderment and amusement spread across his face. “Seriously? Why are you all suddenly so worked up about this?” he asked, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
“Just show us already!” they exclaimed simultaneously, their voices brimming with eager curiosity.
However, he soon shook his head, his expression apologetic. “I can’t,” he confessed, his voice tinged with a hint of regret.
Bella arched an eyebrow and pressed further. “Why not?” she questioned, her eyes fixed on his face.
“The time is up,” he explained, his voice carrying a note of resignation. As he spoke, the countdown timer displayed on the screen reached zero, signaling the end of his transformation. In an instant, his massive form dissolved, leaving behind his familiar, ordinary appearance.
The disappointment that washed over their faces was palpable, their expressions shifting from anticipation to mild letdown. The air buzzed with a mixture of deflation and lingering curiosity.
“Why do you all look so disappointed?” Allen voiced his confusion, his face scrunching up in a cringe. “Weren’t you scared a moment ago?”
