Chapter 1874 - Capítulo 1874: Silent Town
Capítulo 1874: Silent Town
Villain Ch 1874. Silent Town
The bell tolled again. Hollow. Empty. It rattled through the fog like a cracked ribcage.
Allen tilted his head, eyes narrowing. The fog thickened until shapes began to bleed out of it—shambling silhouettes, some crawling, some bent wrong. The taste of iron hit the back of his tongue before they even stepped into sight. The system’s red text blinked across his vision.
[Spawn Detected: Hollow Wretch – Lv. 210]
[Spawn Detected: Ashbound Beast – Lv. 230]
[Spawn Detected: Mourning Hag – Lv. 245]
The street twisted, stretching longer as the monsters dragged themselves into view.
The Hollow Wretch was first—skin pulled tight over bones, its mouth nothing but a black pit dripping smoke, claws dragging across the cobbles, screaming without sound.
Then the Ashbound Beast, a wolf-shaped thing stitched with molten seams, its eyes embers, ribs split open to show fire inside.
And last, looming at the far end, a Mourning Hag—taller than the buildings, a woman’s frame stretched too far, hair falling in wet ropes, a face hidden by a veil of nails.
The others stirred.
Bella’s tails swished, sparks of fire and ice dancing across them.
Zoe’s tentacles flexed, dripping saltwater onto stone.
Shea’s wings unfurled, feathers singing sharp. Jane’s shadows coiled.
But Allen just smirked. “So this is the cursed town. About time.”
Vivian leaned against him, whip dangling loose, her grin feral. “Mmm, high levels. Do we get to play hard, or do we let you flex?”
Allen chuckled low, cold. “Play hard.”
The air thickened. His aura flared—black fire, crushing weight, cold enough to burn. The cobblestones cracked beneath his boots. The system flared again.
[Demonic Aura: Activated.]
[Attack +250%. Defense +250%. Enemy stats reduced by 50%. Countdown: 15:00]
The monsters howled, voices twisting like broken instruments. The Ashbound Beast lunged first, ribs splitting wider, fire spilling.
Allen lifted a gauntlet. “Stone Curse.”
The ground ruptured. Black stone spires burst upward, swallowing half the charging beasts. Cracks spread like veins, petrifying their legs, their claws, their open jaws. The street filled with a choir of grinding stone and snapping bones.
Then came the sky.
Allen raised his blade, eyes gleaming. “Hellfire Rain.”
The clouds above twisted black, swallowing what little light bled through. Then fire fell. Not warm fire. Not holy fire. Demonic fire. Black, red, hungry. Each drop slammed like a meteor, searing Hollow Wretches to ash, burning the Mourning Hag’s veil into her face until she screamed a sound that shredded glass.
Five seconds. Fifty corpses.
Allen’s lips curled. “Enough.”
The aura thrummed in his veins, and he stepped forward. Blade up. Calm. Precise. His heart didn’t beat faster. It slowed.
“Now we cut.”
Vivian laughed, whip cracking out. “Finally.”
Shea dove, feathers slicing like a storm of knives. Zoe’s tentacles smashed through petrified monsters, ripping heads free, tossing them aside like rotten fruit. Bella threw an Ice Lance that skewered three wretches at once, then shattered them with a flick of flame.
Allen didn’t bother with theatrics. He moved. Fast. Too fast. One step—Void Mirage snapped. His illusion blurred out of him, sprinting ahead, baiting claws and exploding when struck. The blast seared a dozen monsters apart.
The real Allen was already behind them. His blade sang once, twice. Heads rolled.
Blood sprayed across his armor. Hot. Metallic. Sweet. He dragged his gauntlet across it, smearing it down his thigh.
The Mourning Hag shrieked, claws like sickles. She swung at Zoe, who caught it with tentacles, screaming back in a voice like a whale’s death cry. Water exploded outward. Depths’ Grasp—an entire street swallowed by a wave, pulling monsters into the ground, drowning them in nothing.
Allen walked through it. Blade cutting. Demonic Lances stabbing out of the air to pierce skulls, hearts, spines.
The Hag shrieked louder. Nails rattled in her veil. Blood dripped down her towering form. She swung at him, claws wide, shriek deafening.
Allen lifted his sword. Abyss flared down his arm.
‘Abyss Shatter.’
He slammed it into the cobblestone. The world itself cracked. The street split, black abyss erupting upward. The shockwave hurled the Hag back, her veil shattering, her face revealed—just a screaming maw, eyes sewn shut.
Her defense shattered too.
Larissa pounced. A blur of red and hunger, she ripped the Hag’s throat open, blood spraying in an arc that she caught midair and twisted into spears. She flung them into the mob, each one exploding.
Allen grinned. “Good girl.”
She hissed back, fangs red, eyes glowing. “I know.”
Vivian moaned in delight, cracking her whip across another beast’s eyes. “You’re spoiling her.”
“Earn it,” Allen said flatly, his blade cutting down another wretch.
The fight blurred into carnage.
Jane’s bone walls slammed upward, trapping monsters. Her Corpse Explosion blew them apart in gory showers, black ichor raining. Alice spun illusions around screaming beasts, making them kill each other before she detonated a Void Sphere that swallowed a dozen alive. Bella stomped, Earthquake Stomp ripping the street into jagged fault lines that devoured their prey.
And through it all, Allen cut.
His blade never stopped moving. Calm arcs. Precise thrusts. Each swing split monsters in half, each stab drained their life with Soul Siphon. He drank their HP.
Every kill stacked in red notifications.
[XP Gained].
[Item Looted].
But it wasn’t the system he paid attention to. It was the smell. Burnt flesh, wet stone, blood so thick it clung in his throat. The feel—the spray across his face, warm, slick. The sound—bones snapping, claws dragging, his girls laughing like demons while they tore everything down.
This was the real game.
The Hag collapsed, throat torn, ribs split, veil burning. The system chimed.
[Elite Monster Slain: Mourning Hag – Lv. 245.]
[+12,000 XP. Rare Drop Acquired: Veil of Mourning.]
The fog hissed. As if angry.
Allen looked up, blade dripping. His smirk was cold, sharp.
“This town isn’t done yet.”
Vivian slid against his side, blood spattered across her lips. “Mmm. Neither are you.”
Shea wiped feathers slick with gore. “That was just the first wave.”
Allen’s smirk widened. He could feel the system pressing, the cursed town grinding forward. The quest was no escort. It was survival.
And survival was his favorite game.
