Chapter 484 - YOLO Teleportation
Chapter 484 – YOLO Teleportation
Azazel didn't know what she should do in this situation.
When Miaomiao began absorbing Qi around himself to break through to the 6th-stage, Azazel didn't flee from the plane. She simply kept a distance from him.
However, Uriel and Venti abandoned her and teleported to another planet.
'Stupid master. How could you abandon your pretty subordinate?'
The sheep angel was frustrated. She left the plane and returned to Siren City.
As soon as Azazel returned to Siren City, she used a stealth technique. She watched how Liu Xuande, Huang Hansheng, and their gangs fled from Siren City in a panic.
She never revealed herself to the local people. She remained there, patiently waiting for her boss.
For a month, she rested on the top of Siren City's pylon tower to monitor the city.
'Odd.'
Azazel closed her eyes and tried to sense Uriel's current location.
The plane that Uriel and Venti were using was a few star systems away from Golden Heavenly Goose Planet. The portal was just a spatial distortion technique, which was commonly used in long-distance traveling.
Since they were in the same universe, it was easy to find her superior officer's life signature and his current location.
'Oh, he's still there.'
Azazel sensed Uriel's presence on the plane. Miaomiao's aura changed, but he was still there as well.
Instead of returning to her boss, she observed them for a while longer. After all, they would need to come back here to pick up Ma Moxi and his crews.
Her eyes flickered, activating the DaoTube Page and displaying it in her mind. She closed her eyes, and various channels were shown in thumbnails.
Azazel changed her account to an administrator account so that she would not reveal her action and identity to the viewer's reaction panel. She continued to watch Miaomiao's live broadcast.
She got the critical point on time. Uriel had asked Miaomiao to hit him with his new Dao Power.
'Oh? Dao? Mao Miaomiao finally condenses a Dao Pillar, I see.'
A few moments later, the shocking incident occurred.
BOOM
Miaomiao's weird punch sent Uriel flying into the void!
'WHAT!?'
Azazel stood up in a panic. She vanished from the top of the tower and reappeared behind Miaomiao, planning to subdue him if Miaomiao were to attempt to harm her boss.
However, Venti already suppressed Miaomiao. He pressed him on the platform with his gravity power before Azazel could touch him.
The gravity didn't affect the invisible angel. She secretly observed their interaction.
"How was my Dao? Did I pass your tests?"
"Forget it. I'll go back and tell my father about you. I'm leaving."
"Wait!"
Miaomiao annoyed Venti to the point that the dragon left.
Azazel giggled, believing that Miaomiao deserved this treatment.
'Serve you right. How could you attack my boss like that? He has been protecting you. How could you injure him?'
The angel ignored all logic, glaring at Miaomiao in resentment. She wanted to teach him a lesson right away, but she didn't dare to violate Uriel's order.
They were supposed to protect Miaomiao, not harm him.
Azazel inwardly clicked her tongue. Then, she gazed at the void, checking Uriel's current location.
He was 11 light-years away from their location, which was not that far. However, Uriel's condition was not great.
Azazel sent a voice transmission to Uriel right away.
'Master, are you alright? Do you need me to bring you back to rest?'
It took Uriel five minutes to reply.
'I'm fine. I need a year or two to recuperate. By the way, how is Miaomiao?'
Azazel peered at Miaomiao. The latter already sat down and began cultivating.
'He's fine. The dragon prince has trapped Mao Miaomiao with his gravity force. He won't be able to leave here unless we dispel his Gravity Law.'
'Oh? Very well, then. Let him cultivate there for a couple of months. Stay there and act as his Dao Protector.'
'What about you, master?'
'I need to rest a month first. Mao Miaomiao plundered half of my Providence and Luck, but he returned it to via external method. I need to correct my Entity Meridians and readjust my Providence Dao.'
'Is your injury that severe!? Mao Miaomiao plundered your luck?! How!?'
'It's his Dao. It might be something related to "Plot Armor" that Devil and Miaomiao mentioned.'
'What is that?'
'If you wanna know, keep watching over him. For now, I need to rest. I'm staying in the Cathulhu Mu-Nyang's Constellation District. If you have excess energy, report my current predicament to Lord Joshua for me. Tell him to send backup units to Golden Heavenly Goose Planet as well.'
'… Yes, master. By the way, Cathulhu Mu-Nyang? Who is that? What's his relationship with Cthulhu God?'
'Imagine a planet with a lot of CATopuses and CAThulus. Mu-Nyang is their God and the owner of this constellation. Oh, don't come here if you're weak against cats. You won't be able to leave this planet for the rest of eternity.'
"…"
…
Miaomiao summoned his wives for a meeting.
Wei Yuan and others scolded him for days in the ITS, but they were glad that Miaomiao was healthy.
Hopea and others reported to Miaomiao that Liu Xuande and others had forfeited the Selection Tournament and left the continent to the west, crossing the Blood Sea, which relieved him.
Still, the girls questioned him about the next phase of the tournament as none of the deities returned.
Miaomiao told them the truth.
"I… uh, kinda stole Uriel's luck and injured him. He might not be able to return for a while."
Hearing Miaomiao's confession, instead of being glad, they were furious.
"YOU DUMB INGRATE HUSBAND! HOW COULD YOU INJURE YOUR BENEFACTOR!?"
"I'm sorry!"
Miaomiao ended up spending a week listening to their sermon. All his wives took turns to either scold or teach him about the common sense, logic, morals, and principle of an upright man.
He felt like he had over 20 mothers. Everyone was passionate about lecturing him.
After scolding enough, they let him off the hook.
"Hoo."
Miaomiao reopened his eyes after he finished the meeting with his wives. He finally got his free time for himself.
He looked around. Again, Uriel hadn't returned.
He sighed.
"Should I use a random teleportation talisman or should I wait for Uriel?"
Miaomiao asked his viewers, who had nothing to do other than spying on his life.
Ding
<Uriel shakes his head.>
<Uriel has sent you a message.>
<"I won't be returning for a while. I don't recommend using that talisman if I were you. Stay there and wait for me.">
<The Monkey King is confident in your LUCK. YOLO is the way.>
<The Sun Crow is confident in your LUCK. YOLO is the way.>
<The Swan Goddess is confident in your LUCK. YOLO is the way.>
<Dion is confident in your LUCK. YOLO is the way!>
<Many immortals want to see your random adventure.>
"…"
Miaomiao's hands trembled. He had the urge to rip a teleportation talisman and YOLO it.
He closed his eyes and took several deep breaths to control himself. After meditating for a minute, he reopened his eyes.
"I'm sorry, my dear viewers. I can't risk it. I'm in the middle of nowhere, and I don't think I can return home with random teleportation. What is the chance? One in a trillion?"
Ding
<The Swan Goddess reminds you that you can now withdraw your fund from the DaoTube Account and DaoPorn Account.>
<The Swan Goddess donates 100 3rd-grade soul stones.>
<The Swan Goddess will donate another 100 if you rip your teleportation talisman.>
<The Monkey King will donate 100 3rd-grade soul stones if you rip your teleportation talisman.>
<Many immortals are willing to donate soul stones if you rip your teleportation talisman.>
Miaomiao smirked at the reaction of these troublemakers. He then laughed at them.
"I'm sorry, my dear viewers. I'm not stupid enough to fall for your trick."
RIP
Despite saying that, Miaomiao's hand withdrew a teleportation talisman from his spatial ring and ripped it. The action was so smooth as if it was a natural thing to do.
Ding
<Uriel shakes his head in the resignation of your stupidity.>
<Macho Joshua shakes his head +1>
<Kunwu shakes his head +2>
<OG-Buddha shakes his head +3>
WHOOM
Miaomiao vanished from the plane.
.
.
.
WHOOM
Ding
<The Swan Goddess is laughing hysterically.>
<The Swan Goddess has donated 200 3rd-grade soul stones.>
<Many Dao Gods and Immortals have donated soul stones to your account.>
<Your current claimable balance: 500 3rd-grade soul stones, 7,874 2nd-grade soul stones, 26,124 1st-grade soul stones.>
The goddess and other viewers kept their promises. As soon as Miaomiao ripped the talisman, they flooded the channel with their donation notifications.
Some sent only one 1st-grade soul stone, but generous immortals gave him many, especially the 2nd-grade soul stones.
Over the year that Karen, the Swan Goddess, had banned Miaomiao's business, his unclaimed balance kept piling up. And now, he was richer than most world guardians and weak immortals.
Miaomiao ignored the system messages and reopened his eyes. He scanned the surroundings right away.
He found himself in a pitch-black enclosed space. However, he sensed several Qi strands and smelled the scent of various herbs.
His eyes adjusted to the darkness. Then, he gazed at the ground and the ceiling of the room.
It was a manmade room for sure. However, Miaomiao's Qi sense couldn't go beyond the strange jade walls and the jade ceiling.
Similar to Nero's mountain, his sense was blocked. Still, this place was somewhat weaker than Nero's Black Amethyst Cave since cracked jade plates were everywhere – It seemed abandoned.
Miaomiao grinned and patted his chest, heaving a sigh of relief. He was not teleported to a dangerous place, but he was trapped in an odd room with no window or door.
'I'll just use Zhu Qiao's teleportation talismans if I can't get out. But for now…'
Miaomiao looked at the herbs in the room. They were similar to catnip plants, but their leaves and flowers were emitting the same aura as the Jade Wall Plates.
'It would have been a waste if I leave these plants alone. For starters, I should collect everything, throw them into ITS, and let Xu Chu identify these things. Oh, Dion, do you know what these flowers are?'
Ding
<Insufficient Data.>
'Figured.'
Miaomiao shrugged. He sat down and gently dug the plants without harming their roots.
But to his dismay, the roots of these plants were connected to the Jade Plates of this room.
'What is this jade?'
Miaomiao was baffled. He cleaned the dust and inspected the flowers closer.
<Macho Joshua has sent you messages.>
<"Those jades are Catnipium Ore. They only grow in Mu-Nyang's Constellation District. You are currently inside one of his planets, it seems.">
'Catnipium? Mu-Nyang? Umm?'
Miaomiao was at a loss. His intelligence couldn't keep up with Macho Joshua's information.
<"As the name implies, those ores are a currency of the Cathulhu Race. You are inside one of their gold mines, and it would be wise to avoid their detection. They are territorial, and they will attack you on sight if the local finds you.">
'Are they strong?'
<"Very. All Mu-Nyang's planets are considered a part of Immortal Realm Territory. The local populations are all immortals.">
At this moment, Miaomiao knew – He F up.
<"If I were you, I wouldn't touch those plants. If you forcefully pluck one of the flowers, they will start meowing, and you will be in trouble.">
'Yikes.'
Miaomiao jumped and pulled his hands away from the plants.
<"But since you are there, you can collect the fallen flower seeds and use another teleportation talisman to leave that place. You won't be able to survive in the Immortal Realm Territory.">
Miaomiao was enlightened. He rechecked the ground and searched for collectible flower seeds.
There were plenty. Miaomiao grabbed everything he could pick.
After spending an hour there, Miaomiao got 200 flower seeds.
Meanwhile, Macho Joshua kept lecturing him about the strange Catnipium.
<"Catnipium was made by Cathulu Ancestor's unique Element Law, and it only benefits the Cathulhu Race. Humans and other races can never absorb their unique Element Qi. However, an extinct race, the Players, once discovered its usage several million years ago, but their entire population was hunted down to the last man due to Mu-Nyang's rage. Everyone knows that it might be possible to use this ore, but Mu-Nyang forbids the research for an unknown reason.">
Miaomiao widened his eyes as he noticed a familiar term.
'Players?'
