Chapter 2241: Chapter 562: Four Travelers Across a Thousand Miles (2)

"You must be Aunt Mengchen," Yang Cancan said warmly. "Cancan pays her respects, Auntie."

But Wang Yue shook his head. "Sister Cancan, you’ve got it wrong. She’s not my second aunt. She’s my master, Yu Suxin."

"I’m sorry. I got that wrong," Yang Cancan said hurriedly. Then she shot Wang Yue a fierce glare—not because he hadn’t told her Yu Suxin’s identity beforehand and caused her to make a mistake, but because she was cursing him as a shameless womanizer.

His master?

With a woman this beautiful and sexy, there was no way Wang Yue would behave himself as her disciple. He was probably just thinking about how to get into his master’s bed.

And he’d been away all night—there was a good chance he and his master had been up to no good.

Yang Cancan even suspected that Wang Yue had become Yu Suxin’s disciple not to learn from her, but to use the title as a cover—just as he deliberately called her "cousin" when he fucked her, and "Auntie" when he fucked his mother. He was after the thrill of incest.

Yang Cancan had to be said to understand Wang Yue remarkably well, considering she hadn’t known him for long.

Yu Suxin had no idea that Yang Cancan had thought all of this in the blink of an eye. She smiled faintly and said, "It’s all right. We’re family, after all."

Su Nuanyue said from the side, "Yue’er, don’t just stand out here. Invite Sister Suxin inside."

"Let’s skip sitting around. Hurry up and pack. We’re going back to Jinling now," Wang Yue said.

"Ah? We’re leaving already?"

Su Nuanyue looked back at the shabby little courtyard, her eyes full of reluctance. She was a very sentimental person, prone to melancholy.

Yang Cancan, by contrast, was much more decisive. She waved a hand and said, "There’s nothing to pack. Just bring your personal clothes. We can buy everything else over there."

"Right. There’s nothing we need over there; we can move straight in," Wang Yue said with a smile. "But if there’s anything you’re reluctant to leave behind, Auntie, just tell me. I can bring it all with us."

Su Nuanyue knew that Wang Yue had a ring with a spacious storage dimension, and given their relationship, there was no need to be formal with him.

She immediately pointed out the things she liked to use and had grown attached to, and Wang Yue packed them into the ring.

In the end, she even brought the little wooden bed from Yang Cancan’s room.

Her daughter’s first time, and her own first time with Wang Yue, had both happened on that bed. She thought it had great sentimental value.

Wang Yue was happy to oblige Su Nuanyue, packing everything she wanted to bring into the ring.

Then he took out the flying craft, had all three women board, and lifted off.

But he didn’t head straight toward Jinling. He made a detour and landed in the plaza outside Jingchan Temple.

It wasn’t the day of the temple fair, and the "Demon Buddha" Xuanji wouldn’t be appearing before the public. Even so, the fanatical believers were undeterred.

On their own initiative, they had set up a large incense burner in the plaza and were burning incense in worship before the temple’s Buddha statue.

Fortunately, the believers came in batches, so the plaza was nowhere near as crowded as it was during the temple fair.

There was still enough room for Wang Yue to land his craft.

After setting the craft down in a corner of the plaza, Wang Yue told the three women to wait aboard while he went into the temple alone.

Wang Yue’s unconcerned manner, and even his decision to barge into the temple, displeased many people.

But the believers were mostly ordinary folk, and even those few who were martial artists were only at the Body Tempering stage.

The flying craft alone made it obvious that Wang Yue was no ordinary person, and certainly not someone they could afford to offend.

Naturally, no one wanted to be the first to challenge him.

Besides, this sort of thing had happened before, especially around the time the Demon Buddha first appeared.

Plenty of people who thought they were important had barged into the temple like this, only to be turned away every time.

So the displeased believers were content to wait and watch him get humiliated.

By then, Xuanji had already led Wang Yue into his secret chamber.

The two had already come to an agreement about the sleeping beauty, so there was no need to haggle.

After giving Wang Yue a reminder, Xuanji waved his hand and withdrew the true qi he had been using to suppress the sleeping beauty.

In an instant, an overwhelmingly seductive aura came rushing at Wang Yue. Even though this was his second time experiencing it, he still felt his thoughts going astray.

But he had come prepared. He immediately pushed out both hands, sending powerful, refined true qi from his palms to envelop the sleeping beauty’s body, forming an invisible barrier that trapped the seductive aura inside.

Seeing Wang Yue accomplish with ease what required his own full effort—and in less than a minute—Xuanji couldn’t help but offer genuine praise. "Your true qi is so pure, my young friend. It’s truly astounding."

"You flatter me, Master," Wang Yue said, withdrawing his hands. "What do you plan to do from now on? Continue cultivating in seclusion at Jingchan Temple?"

Xuanji smiled. "My only worldly obligation has been settled. I’m about to travel the world and do my best to ease the suffering of sentient beings, so that I don’t waste my cultivation and Buddhist teachings."

"But then all those believers outside will be disappointed," Wang Yue joked. Then he sighed. "After we part today, who knows when we’ll meet again?"

He had long noticed that Xuanji didn’t carry a communication device like everyone else these days. Clearly, he didn’t want to use such a worldly trinket. He cared for all living beings, yet had no family or other attachments, and had no need for one.

Xuanji smiled faintly. "If fate wills it, we’ll meet again."
