Unpredictable Marriage.

Chen Lihua is now four months pregnant, and her baby bump was starting to become noticeable. She had a slight baby bump that appeared on her abdomen.

The size of her baby should be as big as an avocado, the weight ranging from 0.09-0.11 kg and 4-5 inches in length.

Chen Lihua got a newsletter, but more like an Email from the doctor, filling her in on her baby's development.

"Your baby's eyes are making small side-to-side movements this week and can perceive some light, even though they're still closed."

"That thumb-sucking habit of many newborns may have already begun. At 16 weeks, babies may be able to make sucking motions."

"Baby-to-be's circulatory system is now up and (beginning) to run. Her heart can pump about 25 quarts of blood a day."

"Your fetus is becoming a looker too — with a face that's starting to look more human — but a skinny looker, since there's no baby fat yet. And here's the skinny on baby skin: It's practically translucent now, so if you took a peek inside your uterus, you'd be able to see your baby's blood vessels under that thin skin."

"Tiny bones in your fetus' ears are in place, making it likely that baby can hear your voice (or something like it) when you're speaking at 16 weeks pregnant. Studies have found that babies who hear a song while they're in the womb recognize the same tune when it's sung to them after they're born — so choose your lullabies with that in mind."

"Wow! So my baby can hear me talk now?!." Chen Lihua shrieked with excitement in her voice. She was very happy to realize this good news, so she abandoned the newsletter she was reading and left for the study to find her husband.

She needed to share the good news with him!

"Darling..... Darling!." Chen Lihua called out impatiently as she barged into the study room.

Liu Longwei was currently on a video call conference with his board of directors when Chen Lihua barged into the study room.

He thought something wrong had happened to her because of the urgency in her tone, so he turned his gaze and attention unto her. But when he saw the smile on her face, He came to understand that nothing was wrong.

So his rapid heartbeats, reduced by a few beats.

"What's wrong he asked?." He asked with concern in his voice.

His actions amazed his board of directors. This was the man that was known all over the company as a business tycoon that never jeopardized his work.

In his company, he was known to be a serious-minded person who didn't like to be interrupted during meetings or getting distracted. But look at him now, he was doing the opposite of what he stood against.

But what could they say? He was their Boss!

Although they might have their own opinion sometimes, their CEO had the highest shares, and his opinion was the top priority. So right now, they kept their mouths shut and watched on.

Since their Boss didn't turn off the camera, this means that the meeting was still on. 

This meeting was crucial. It was the kind of meeting that would move their company to a higher level in the year if they implemented their plans with the right steps.

Chen Lihua on the other hand didn't notice that Liu Longwei had ear pods in his ears, so she went to stand at his side as she said with her full gaze on him. She smiled as she said, "I have good news for you."

Liu Longwei knew she was going to talk about the baby, so he turned his gaze to his laptop screen as he stretched his fingers towards the keyboard to tap on a key, thereby turning off his mic.

By doing this, the board of directors wouldn't be able to hear a word said from his side.

Since he didn't want anyone apart from close family members to learn of his wife's pregnancy, he had to turn off his mic, for it would be difficult asking the board of directors not to disclose what they heard.

Although he had a way to get them not to talk, that would be a hassle. Since he could stop all these long processes from happening with just a click on the keyboard, why wouldn't he do it?

The board of directors was surprised when they didn't hear what their Boss was saying to the person next to him, even though his mouth was moving.

They almost thought the screen (The Tv) they were watching their Boss from, had broken.

They began to murmur amongst themselves, as they talked about how to fix the Tv immediately, because they still had crucial points to make, and the meeting wasn't over.

Their Boss would surely be angry and punish them for it!

"Gentlemen, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, Boss turned off his microphone by himself." Assistant Duyi informed them with a smile on his face.

The board of directors glanced at themselves before nodding in understanding. It turned out that they were worried for nothing.

'But what secretive topic could their boss be talking about with that person, that he wouldn't want them to hear?' 

"Oh right! Since the boss in the study in his house, then that must be his wife that called him.' 

These were some of the thoughts that were going on in their heads. But Personal Assistant Duyi was right in time to stop their thoughts from wandering.

Hello! They had an important matter before them, that they needed to settle, so now was not the time for them to think about any other thing that wasn't related to today's business.

So, Assitant Duyi took over, while waiting for Liu Longwei to join them.

"I can't guess now, tell me what it is." Liu Longwei said as he peered at her face as a smile played on his lips.
