Unpredictable Marriage.

"My mother lied to me!" Chen Lihua said through gritted teeth.

"What?" Liu Longwei asked, trying to make sure he heard her clearly.

Chen Lihua passed the documents to him, and he took a look at them.

The document showed that Lady Chen transferred some shares from Chen group to Chen Lihua.

After glancing at the document, Liu Longwei seemed to have understood what transpired, so he asked, "Did she tell you that our companies merged?"

"Yes. And that was what made me agree to get married to you," Chen Lihua said.

When Lady Chen told Chen Lihua about Liu Longwei, she didn't agree. So she had told her that the Chen group merged with the Liu Group, and she was just the acting CEO, while Liu Longwei had all the power.

And this was the reason Chen Lihua listened to her mother without knowing that she had been deceived.

Now finding out the truth of the whole matter, she had every right to be angry.

No wonder Lady Chen wanted her to sign those documents in a hurry. It was because she didn't want Chen Lihua to see what that particular document was all about. Otherwise, she would have caused a scene on her Chinese traditional wedding day.

"How long was she planning to hide this big lie?" Chen Lihua said angrily.

Liu Longwei sighed before saying calmly, "Don't be angry anymore, the deed has been done. Are you planning to give up on our marriage after finding out the truth?"

"No! I never said that. Am just so angry that my mother lied to me. Who knows how many more lies she has said to me through all these?"

"Lihua, you have to calm down. She is your mother, and I trust that she won't let you take any step or decision that you would regret," Liu Longwei said as he tried to placate her.

"Are you saying that my mother made the right decision in getting me married to you?" Chen Lihua asked as she calmed down drastically.

"Mmm....Of course," Liu Longwei said with a smile.

Chen Lihua smiled as she hit him playfully on his arm, "Shameless!"

Liu Longwei stood in front of her and brought her into his arms. And while patting her back, he said in a low husky voice, "Don't be angry, ok? It's not good for your health."

Chen Lihua complained in a muffled voice, "But I don't want to leave this matter like this, or my mother would continue to toil with me. I need to speak to her."

"You can't talk to her in this condition. You are still very angry with her, so I think you should talk to her when we return from our honeymoon," Liu Longwei suggested, while still having her in his arms.

"That's right, our honeymoon. We are leaving for India tomorrow," Chen Lihua said excitedly while raising her head to look at Liu Longwei.

"Are you excited about going for our honeymoon, or going to India?" Liu Longwei asked with raised brows.

"Of course its India. Oh! And I need to get my henna done," Chen Lihua said with brightly lit eyes, while gently pushing Liu Longwei away from her.

Liu Longwei watched as the woman pushed herself away from his embrace while excitedly talking about India.

'She must really love India a lot,' He thought to himself as he listened to her talk about India.

"I don't know any henna artist in the country. How do I get one in such a short time?" Chen Lihua said with a frown.

Then she raised her head and looked at the man that had been staring at her and said to him.

"Longwei, pack your bags and wait for me, while I contact a henna artist and get my luggage ready," Chen Lihua instructed as she made her way towards the door.

"Don't forget to confirm our flight tickets and hotel reservations for our honeymoon," She reminded, before vanishing from his sight.

Liu Longwei watched the tightly shut doors and sighed to himself.

She was very angry a few minutes ago, but when I mentioned our honeymoon, she immediately remembered that we are going to India tomorrow. And now she has forgotten about what and who made her angry.

Well, it's for the best.

Liu Longwei didn't waste time in his study, as he immediately went out to carry out his wife's instructions. 

He didn't want to diddle-daddle and have her anger transferred to him, he was not ready to bear any consequences.

As for Chen Lihua, she immediately got hold of a henna artist in the city, after making some calls.

After the call, she immediately began to pack her luggage, happily.

You need to have seen how she was all smiling while packing her things. She was indeed very happy.

At Liu Huiling's end, she gathered her and her daughter's bags with the help of their nanny, ready to travel back to their city of residence.

As for her husband, he packed his things by himself, while waiting for Liu Huiling to finish.

He sat on the sofa in the hotel room, lost in thought after he was done handling his things.

He didn't even care to see if his wife needed help with the children or with anything at all, rather, he sat by himself, lost in thought.

He only came back to his senses when his daughters ran towards him with their mother behind them, while calling after him.

"Daddy....daddy....daddy!" The little girls called out cheerfully.

A smile returned to the man's face as he hugged his little girls that ran into his arms.

He pecked their foreheads and asked, "Are you ready?"

"Yesss!!!" The girls chorused excitedly.

The man quickly stood up and held their hands. Then he turned to glance at their mother who had two suitcases in her hands.

He stopped smiling as soon as he caught sight of her, but Liu Huiling did not even glance at him.

The man felt that she had changed overnight because the wife he married would have been bombarding him with questions. Like asking why he didn't help her get the children ready or pack their clothes or maybe asked him to help her to carry one of the bags, but she did neither of them.
