Chapter 71 71. RULES
Noah instinctively took a step backwards. He didn’t understand how that happened, he was basically far from her, but she had locked gaze’s with him.
Even more shock filled his mind when he saw her walking towards his direction!.
Panic filled his mind, as Noah took a millisecond to inspect himself. Disappointment raged in his mind after the inspection, he looked like a poor mongrel compared to her. ‘Does my breath smell?,’ Noah asked himself, that was when he found out. ‘I haven’t brushed in months,’
The realization made him dizzy, he had only thought of baths, but not brushing.
It took only a few tens of seconds for the lady to get near him. The entire place had went silent, immediately her figure entered the room, it seemed all the men were thinking the exact same thing.
When she got to his position, Noah watched in shock as he went past his figure, and continued walking on the pathway made my people.
During his moment of shock, he managed to glance back, and inspect her, out of sheer curiosity.
[Isabella]
[Tier: 2]
[Level: 40]
[Chances of death: 40%]
Noah’s mind felt a buzz, this woman was strong. Glancing aback at James, Noah saw that he too was in a daze. Immediately he noticed that, his fascination suddenly disappeared. It felt like a public thing, so his mind got used to it instantly.
Glancing at her stationed figure, Noah realized that her beauty didn’t affect him, nor amaze him anymore. He could only blame his innate ability to learn fast, or adapt to a situation fast.
Heaving a sigh, ‘I can’t even admire a beauty,’ Noah complained in his mind.
He like that his speed learning helped him in many ways, but this was getting too much.
The same thing happened with Lisa, when he had tied her to the tree, he tried forcing himself to imagine things, but he got absolutely no reaction, making him look focused.
Eventually the place returned to its boring state, Noah was already bored out of his mind, that he decided to practice his elemental control a bit.
Pouring Mana into that skill, Noah watched as a tiny tornado appeared in front of him, but immediately that happened, red inscriptions lit up in the ceiling, then Noah lost control of the tornado making it vanish.
Glancing around, Noah found that everyone had their eyes on him, seeing staring blankly, some with disdain, some were even mocking him with the smile on their face, while some ladies stared at him with admiration.
Noah didn’t know what to do, the whole thing became incredibly awkward, his mouth was about to release words when something took their attention away from him.
The floor of the room, lit up with a blue radiance, Noah only managed to get a glimpse of the multiple runes and intricately webbed lines, before he found himself under the sun’s radiance!.
He felt dizzy from the experience, that he had to hold his head, after a few seconds the realization of what had just happened dawned on him, “We just teleported,” he screamed inside his mind.
Immediately he said that, he began to hear the voices of people, actually it felt like they were cheering. Snapping his head to inspect his surroundings, Noah found that they were currently inside the collusem.
Rows upon rows upon rows of seats filled his vision, and on them were thousands of humans, but there was a side where there weren’t any cheers, actually those individuals simply sat, and stared at the multitude of humans that just got teleported. .𝒐𝙧𝒈
Noah glanced at his fellow teleportees, they had all recovered from the teleportations effects. “That was my first teleport,” James sounded next to Noah. Who simply nodded at him, “Mine too,”.
Honestly Noah almost didn’t believe such a thing was possible but it seemed the people of Cregar proved him wrong.
The area remained noisy for a few minutes, Noah instinctively glancing at the area where neatly dressed people, sat and didn’t cheer, his mind told him that all of them were important identities.
Eventually something changed, the collusems’ insides glowed with a blue radiance, then screens the size of buildings appeared, and it showed the participants inside the collusem.
Noah’s mouth were wide open, though those screens were actually illusory, they looked looked exactly like TV’s.
During his moment of surprise, another event occured.
An incredibly heavy aura, fell on the entire collusem, as Noah directly fell on his knees, his nose dripping with blood.
He felt he was definitely going to pass out, but his body released mild sparks, though they helped a bit, against the pressure there wasn’t much they could do.
Then the aura vanished as fast as it fell, relieving the weak experts. At that point, Noah’s body began to gush with energy, as immediately after he managed to open his eyes without an headache. Glancing at sky, which hurt his head, Noah saw the figure of a floating man, wearing a red robe.
He couldn’t see the features of the man due to his still recovering head, but he could confirm something, the man was the owner of the heavy pressure, but tier 3’s couldn’t do that much to him, which only meant, ‘Tier 4,’ Noah screamed in his mind.
To the floating man, Noah was but an ant, actually the entire participants present could actually die from his sole pressure!!.
Spitting the blood that had accumulated in his throat, Noah managed to stand, all for him to realize that, he was the only one who had recovered fast.
Immediately, he felt heavy gaze’s on his figure, as he couldn’t help but glance at the place filled with important identities. Shock filled Noah’s mind when he found that none of them was affected by the aura.
‘Damn, I’m really still very weak,’ Noah said Inwardly, while a sigh escaped his mouth. Then he sat down on the ground, trying to ignore the gazes
It took around ten whole minutes before, signs of waking up showed, yes most of them had fainted, even James.
Noah had decided to cultivate during that time, since it really helped him.
Eventually the whole collusem was awake, but not a single sound could be heard, after all not even the audience was spared of the pressure.
“Good,” the man’s voice rang out encompassing the entire Collusem, even spreading beyond it.
“I welcome you all to this year’s edition of bozolom,” the man announced, but not a single person cheered, from fear that they might anger the expert.
The man seemed to not care, as he continued, “As you all should know, bozolom is an event organised by the royal family, and few Large noble families, to test it’s people and see their capabilities. So please a standing ovation for their grace,” the man said slowly pointing at the area filled with the important individuals.
The whole collusem stood as they performed a standing ovation, but not from their will, but of fear, even Noah clapped.
The man waved his right hand, and everyone immediately stopped. “Now, to the explanation of this year’s rules,”.
“Some of you may already know this, but there have been some changes in this year’s bozolom,” the man said, while he shot sharp gaze’s at multiple peak stage tier 2, who flinched.
Although he wasn’t part of them, Noah himself flinched, the gaze seemed to have enough power to kill him.
“But it isn’t to worry, there shall only be an increase in the difficulty,” the man announced.
Bells rang in everyone’s mind at that point, ‘An increase in the already stupendous difficulty of the event,’ Noah shouted in his mind, but didn’t dare to say anything.
“There are a few rules of this years’ edition, but the first and maybe the most important rule is. You’ll have to kill yourselves,”
