Chapter 522 522. FIVE HITS

A dense and heavy aura filled the insides of that artificial environment. Noah’s figure remained above the surface and his opponent’s eyes went cold and grave.

“Begin,” Elder Ezra announced leaving the battlefield after which she waved her hand and watched a vast blue illusory wall spring forth from the ground encircling the entire place, and only leaving a bit for the movement of the watching experts.

Floating screens appeared above the battlefield catching the events that occurred within that encircled zone.

The other experts waiting for them saw this and shot gazes at elder Ezra. His aura remained too strong for someone in the middle stage.

“I will allow you to go first,” Noah announced making his aura reduce in intensity. His eyes blazed with silver light and his being felt exalted above those humans.

The duo exchanged glances at his words and truth be told; they felt glad.

Both of them nodded and Noah descended. Shocking the spectators.

Did he really see his opponents as feeble? So much so that he could land without any weapons in his hands.

His opponents weren’t naive or arrogant however, both individuals revealed their weapons, and Noah’s eyes fell on a silver sword and a huge crimson and black hammer shimmering with hundreds of grey inscriptions.

His gaze remained calm, however. He didn’t need to activate “Eyes of the death lord” to know he could defeat them. He even intentionally hid most of his power.

“I see you both possess formidable weapons there. So let’s make a wager.” Noah’s voice rang out before the two could move.

“I’ll let you each land five hits before I make my moves. I also promise not to block any of them,” He announced, and confused expressions appeared on his opponents who shot stunned glances at themselves.

The crowd watching from the city and the tier 4 experts gasped at that bold announcement.

“You can go all-out if you desire. And If I end up dying, that wouldn’t be a problem, since you’re already allowed to kill me.” He further explained, making his offer sound even more interesting.

“There has to be a catch to it. right?” The sword user revealed his doubt, but Noah immediately shook his head in objection.

“There’s no catch. I will do just as I have promised,” Noah stated with a gaze that spoke of complete transparency.

His opponents furrowed their brows at that point.

“You can decide not to, however. That would mean you do not trust your power to end me in five moves,” Noah taunted.

“Yes,” The sword user revealed. “I don’t believe I can kill you in five attacks. But with the two of us. That might be different.” The man once again exchanged glances with the hammer-wielder.

“Very well then. Come at me,” Noah proclaimed spreading his arms wide.

“This will lead to your death,” The hammer user shook his head in pity after which he went serious. Both experts nodded at each other and their figures disappeared with a powerful bang and the shattering of the ground.

Tier 4 experts were capable of great acceleration. The ground couldn’t keep up.

Both experts approached Noah with dangerous speed and in the twinkle of an eye, their figures flickered in front of him.

The ground saw a spiderweb of cracks spreading in its structure as both figures appeared there, their weapons waved.

Noah saw all this happen, but according to his promise, he wouldn’t block any of their moves.

The sword user muttered a few words and the temperature spiked dangerously.

He swung his silver blade with all the power his arms could muster and the moment his weapon reached Noah’s chest it exploded into a linear wave of deep blue flames, born purely out of his martial arts.

Noah felt the power in that attack make him take a step back, but before he could settle he felt a metallic object smack into his head.

The force sent him smashing into the ground. His face struck the grown and spread cracks in the environment.

The wave of flames ended at that point. The smoke cleared and Noah revealed himself by standing and dusting his clothes.

That display put shock in the expressions of his audience, but his opponent became even more determined.

“One,” Noah raised a finger and watched the experts disappear once again, They sprinted around him with frightening power causing a disturbance in the wind within that place.

Even the way the wind moved resembled the outside world.

A tornado quickly formed as both experts communicated with each other. They would unleash their strongest techniques on him, but this time significant portions of their mana would be within them.

Noah stood within the raging and roaring tornado around him. The might of tier 4 experts was in full display before him.

The wind had become violent, containing the type of power able to make chunks of the terrain fly toward it. And that was what happened.

Noah watched ad felt huge chunks of rocks smash into his figure but he remained unfazed, simply waiting for the moves of his opponents.

“Fifth form: Grass-root of destiny.”

“Seventh form: Blade of the burning star.”

Both voices announced at the same time. The heat in the environment spiked and reached blazing intensities, While the ground beneath Noah terra-formed into a cage that unleashed spikes that further exploded into speeding shrapnels which additionally experienced a sudden pressure that made everything crumble on Noah’s body with twenty times their original weight.

A combo of effects. That execution would normally put most cultivators in a sorry situation.

The second attack extinguished the raging tornado as the sword user leaped into the skies to raise his blade and swing it literally hundreds of times. But in merely a second.

The execution instantly drained him, but the result was a huge sphere of deep-blue flames descending with terrifying potential,

At least it seemed like a ball.

In truth that huge sphere was simply a compressed mass of all the individual slashes, the expert had executed in that second. They all moved at the same pace thanks to the influence of the expert’s mental waves. .

The moment that mass of flaming slashes touched the ground where Noah had been buried; the most spectacular explosion since that battle began, unfolded into the world.

A radiant ball of terribly powerful flames barreled out in all directions, turning the ground to ash.

Even the expert that had executed the attack found tens of deep gashes and patches of burnt skin appearing on his body.

His teammate managed to create defenses of rocks even if they ended up burning his skin.

It took a while for the explosion’s aftermath to clear, but everyone already believed they knew the battle’s outcome.

Merely gazing at the massive but healing crater was enough proof. Moreover, when they looked at the person that had executed the attack they felt even more compelled to believe the handsome man was dead.

A shame.

For them of course, since barely after a minute later the charred ground exploded to reveal the ascending figure of a perfectly okay but nigh-naked Noah.

“Two,” He raised two fingers.
