Chapter 376 376. THUNDER

Noah gazed at the diving beasts with a tinge of nervousness and curiosity, if they landed there, there would be enough space to fit all four of them, so he would be screwed if he was cornered.

However he knew he wouldn’t, so he waited and watched. His closest moment to a fight with tier 4 beasts.

The four of them would arrive at the same time, and they were quite large. Noah was only able to scan them that much because he had started moving. His environment had begun to function in slow motion to him.

Noah had a crazy idea that saw him leaping upward with the help of his empowerment. But he didn’t want to try it out since his instincts told him to escape. Actually, they were screaming at him.

He waited, however, and continued to etch that scene into his memory.

Their pointed mouths soon poked out of the water, but Noah vanished with a white light.

The beasts landed on the solid ground beside the pool of blood, and their sheer size could be revealed properly.

The crocodiles were completely blue and they were so tall that their spiked backs were still meters inside the water even while on all fours.

Deep growls reverberated through the lower portion of the pool, making everything shake as a result.

The beasts scanned the area with their bloodthirsty eyes, searching for the figure they had seen within their domain.

Finding no one, each one of them took heavy steps towards the flowing pool of blood and began to drink of it.

The scene changed at that point. Their eyes began to glow a red light as their power rose.

Their blue scales transformed gradually until there were more red scales than blue ones.

The crocs saw huge spikes shooting out of their backs as their masses experienced a slight increase.

At some point, all four of them raised their heads to voice a terrifying roar. One filled with violence and anger.

Their combined roars made the pool of water begin to tremble as although they were tens of meters below the surface, the ground surrounding the pool still shook violently.

The beasts in the surrounding area knew what it meant, however. They were being summoned. And their leaders didn’t sound happy. The true horror of the forest of Equanimity was yet to be revealed. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝘮

Noah swiftly moved past the forest’s trees immediately he teleported to his desired position.

He had heard the roars and felt a chill shoot down his spine.

Soon enough the result of the roars began to manifest, and potential chaos was what lay in front of him.

The scene before Noah reminded him of the hordes he had experienced during his journey to Crilion.

Tens of beasts all multiple times the size of a grown man dashed towards a spot in the forest that was behind him. The center.

They weren’t exactly aiming at him, but that could as well be the case, since if he did nothing he would be stepped to death.

Crouching a bit, Noah took in a sharp breath and applied all the force he could muster in his knees.

The result was a powerful leap that sent him many meters into the air while also crossing the stampede. But his work wasn’t done just yet, since suddenly, a figure crashed into him and sent him into the heart of the horde.

Noah knew exactly who or what it had been since he had noticed it, but it had been too late by then.

‘How did this fucker find me,’ Noah cursed inwardly as the 6m frame of the savage bear loomed over his figure.

The running beasts parted to accommodate the bear’s presence, but Noah didn’t focus much on that detail.

The bear hunched forward and voiced a deafening roar at his sitting figure, but before it could complete it, a kick landed on its left cheek and caused its head to snap towards the other direction.

“Loud,” Noah hissed noting how his kick had dealt no damage.

The raging sounds of tens to probably hundreds of magical beasts rushing past him reached Noah’s ears, and drowned any sound he could make, but he didn’t care.

The beasts continued to part ways at the sight of the bear and Noah understood why too well, but how neatly they did it still baffled him.

Some of the beasts were rushing at speeds that would send even an expert in the middle stage recoiling in pain, but they always managed to leave the bear untouched. It spoke of their control and fear. Since beasts only knew fear.

The bear stared at Noah after the kick, and it even placed its clawed paw on the spot of the kick hinting at a heightened intelligence.

His only dagger appeared in his right hand as he prepared to take it down, if he could. Noah could leave that forest any time he wanted. But he wouldn’t back out from a fight. Not when there was a chance of winning.

The bear bore its trauma inducing teeth a second later and pounced at him. But Noah had already reacted.

Four golems emerged from a magical circle that had appeared around him and dashed forward to stop the bear in its movement, even if two ended up crumbling upon impact.

Noah moved forward at that point.

His figure shot into the air till he was just as high as the beast, and he directly executed the first form on the bears face.

A resounding explosion filled the entire place and the effect of sheer force colliding with a sturdy material caused shock waves to spread abroad.

Noah landed, and a cold smile appeared on his face when his move seemed to have only angered the beast more. Nothing more.

Slashing at Noah’s figure with its long claws, the bears sent blood red slashes towards his figure, and Noah’s instincts erupted with a deep feeling of danger at that sight.

Noah turned into a deep yellow streak to properly dodge the attack and he watched the four slashes tear through more than five beasts in one go.

“Damn,” He muttered beginning to take the bear seriously. “Empowerment it is.”

A spectacular explosion of power erupted forth at that point. Bolts of yellow lightning literally flew everywhere as a heavy aura unfolded in the area.

Noah’s mere preparation had taken out nothing less than ten beasts that had been unlucky enough to be in his range.

In the span of an instant he turned into a figure overflowing with raw power as streams of yellow currents flowed out of his figure, charring the ground, but not going any further.

Noah had never felt so powerful In his entire life. His mere inhalation and exhalation caused sparks to fly everywhere.

“Lets do this,” he tried to whisper, but his words came out with the intensity of thunder anyway.
