‘800…are all those father’s subjects? That should be right…probably,’ Dilan wondered, not fully certain that everything he did was correct.

In the end, he could only make his own guesses because nobody knew the true extent of his father’s Origin ability. Nonetheless, losing the strength amplification of 2.5 percent from 800 Tier-3 Ascenders was painful.

Dilan knew that he made the right call by setting up a trap and taunting them first instead of his father. The final result of their battle would have been devastating otherwise.

‘His Origin ability must have been used up and be useless now,’ He nodded in satisfaction and took a deep breath. His heart was beating wildly and his emotions were wreaking a havoc in his mind. Dilan didn’t want to wait any longer to fight his father because it was more than time for him to take revenge on the piece of shit, who had made his childhood a hellish nightmare.

However, even after Dilan had defeated and collected the Essence crystals of all Ascenders around him, several minutes had to pass before he sensed something around him.

A single human Ascender was flying in the air, but he came from the opposite direction, not from the city.

‘Was he out of the city? Looks like my timing was perfect, hahaha!’ Dilan burst into laughter, and he ignored both the Demon Spider and the flying persona of the human he hated the most.

The Demon Spider was writhing in fright, its hair standing up on its end, and it was no sooner than the Demon Spider attempted to retreat that a beam of darkness burst forth from Arnes Cier’s right arm.

The darkness beam pierced through the Demon Spider, carved a deep hole into its body, and killed the Peak Tier-3 monster in an instant.

“This thing couldn’t have been strong enough to eliminate every single of my YinYang Warriors…” The deep and overly familiar voice of his father resounded through the surrounding area as he turned his head in Dilan’s direction, “that probably means it was your doing, ain’t I right?”

The bulky physique of his father’s two-meter-tall figure was hovering high in the air and his two sky-blue eyes were staring downward at him as if he was looking down on a tiny ant, an existence he could squash at any moment.

His long golden hair fluttered in the wind and an expression of utter arrogance covered his otherwise emotionless face.

“You don’t seem to be too affected by the loss of your trusted followers. Wasn’t it hard to train them?” Dilan tried to control his emotions while asking questions. He didn’t want his father to realize who he was talking to…not yet.

Dilan was in no hurry, and he wanted to determine the timing of his revelation.

“Affected? Only the weak are affected by the death of disposable tools. As someone who is strong enough to defeat my YinYang Warriors on his own, you should know how easy it is to take the lives of the weak. With a single snap of my finger, the entire city I’ve built would crumble at once. Everything would be destroyed and all life would be eradicated in an instant.

Isn’t that a nice feeling? Being omnipotent, the strongest existence on Milarn, and soon the entire Universe!” Arnes Cier was basking in self-glory and an expression of utter excitement covered his face after a while. A glint of craziness could be seen in his eyes, and Dilan could only laugh when he saw this.

“It looks like you haven’t changed in the slightest,” He said at this moment, lifting his hands to point at the starry sky, “but isn’t it weird that you tell me all of this, that you expose your real personality in front of a complete stranger? Are you a masochist? Do you like the feeling of being tensed up because of the possibility that I would expose your real face to the world?” Dilan asked as his real, hidden emotions slowly began to surface. Bloodlust, the lust to start fighting and killing intent started to surge through his body, awakening the adrenaline his body began to pump into his veins.

Dilan started to use all of his accumulated emotions, his adrenaline, and his altered mana to further alter it into Reinforced Berserk Mana.

“I didn’t change? Hmm, that’s an interesting way to phrase this sentence…but why should I care?” Arnes replied with even more questions before he thought about what the Golden Oni mask wearer had said.

“Though it is true that I usually hide my real personality, you interrupted my hunt of the Sea Dragon by killing my ant-like subjects. I am getting angry, so there is no need for me to hide my emotions, is that clear?! I will just kill you before you will be able to take another step!” Arnes Cier roared out, bringing his arms closer.

He rubbed his wrists against each other, opened his hands, and two compressed energy balls formed within them. One was black, and one was white. They began to swirl around one another and it required only seconds before they merged into one ball consisting of two repelling energies and colors.

Dilan felt a terrifying pulling force from the Yin-Yang ball, which was what he called it. However, at the same time, there was a powerful force that pushed Dilan away from the Yin-Yang ball.

It was very weird as he was pushed and pulled to the exact same structure.

But instead of paying too much attention to this, Dilan circulated mana through his body before he activated [Hulk-Up], [Undying], [Gravity Domain], [Decay], [Power Appraisal], [Walk of Thunder], [Second Acceleration], [Mantle of Elements], and he unleashed the seal on the Cursed Dagger activating [Blood Sacrifice].

Afterward, he made use of his Power of Destruction, his Green Magic, and the tiny trace of Dragonic Power he had received from Rory using their [Soul Space]!

A tremendous pressure burst forth from Dilan. He slowly reached for his weapons, which he unsheathed in a smooth and utterly calm manner. Dilan stared deep into the ice-cold eyes of the man, whom he had been afraid of all his life. Yet, right now, at this very moment, there was no fear left in Dilan’s body.

The nervousness which he felt before had disappeared all of a sudden and it was about time for him to take his father head-on, the only hurdle he had never dared to overcome in his whole life!

With his tremendous Agility, Dilan rushed forward. In an instant, he crossed more than a kilometer, just to turn into golden particles.

Arnes Cier looked at the spot Dilan had vanished, just to disappear on his own the moment a black and a white blade was about to cut through his body.

“I told you that you won’t be able to take another step!” Arnes Cier’s voice resounded from behind Dilan, as his old man issued the very same surprise attack he had just intended to use.

Yet, instead of being able to use [Instant Teleportation] once again, Dilan felt incapable of doing anything as he found himself looking down at his body, with a deep hole in his chest.

“You’re weaker than expected, it’s almost disappointing.”
